Temperatures were in the 80’s so we brought our swimming suits. The website said they had a pool and hot tub. We walked around the property and the tiny pool was not only closed, it was a mucky green color. Very disappointed.

The room was standard with refrigerator and microwave. It was very clean. The pool was very clean and well kept as well. Pet friendly Options although with a per pet/per night fee. The breakfast was basic but free. Convenient and quiet location.

The room was up to date and clean. AC unit worked great and bed was comfy. Hotel is very convenient to everything in Helen, but far enough away to limit foot traffic and noise. The exterior pool was is disrepair and full of green water, so that was the biggest detractor from our stay.

Every room in this hotel has been completely remodeled and is brand new they even have full size refrigerators in them not no itty bitty mini fridge that doesn't even keep your stuff cold but a brand new full size refrigerator. There were a couple of minor things I did not care for like, there is not a lot of parking and there are no elevators. So if you are packing a lot of suitcases/bags, make sure that you have some extra hands or get a bottom floor room. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and the room was clean, spacious and updated. I would definitely stay here again and I definitely recommend.

Check in was super quick. The room was exceptionally clean and staff was super quick with requests and paid great attention to our needs. Beds and pillows were super comfy, AC worked and the water pressure was great! We had requested a crib for our baby and a staff member immediately brought us extra blankets for the baby. Friendly staff and overall great stay. I would highly recommend.

The property was easy to get to. room was decently kept, but bedding wasn’t clean, and the floors made our feet almost black after five minutes in the room. We chose to wear shoes the rest of the stay while in the room, and got rid of the dirty linens and slept on what was clean. Front desk receptionist was super nice and easy checkin process.

Property was at the end of one of the main streets, but not really a walkable distance to many of the places. It felt safe, but was a bit run down. The main areas, breakfast/ entrance were clean, but the rest of the property was not quite what I expected based off of that first experience. We found adult toe nail clipping in the made beds. Breakfast was a basic grab and go breakfast with waffles. I wish there would have a least had fresh fruit.

Pillow was dirty so was the bed. There were cockroaches in the room. Sink drainage is clogged. Toilet was not clean but I understand with the cheap price and we chose it so no complain. Just want to share so you can do better for the next time. Front desk checked me in somehow charged my card 5 times and my card got blocked.

The bed was comfy and the room was clean. That being said, half the outlets and lights in the room didn’t work, and starting at 6 am it’s non-stop doors slamming by the cleaning staff and other guests. We could see light coming into the bathroom from underneath the bathtub. Not sure to what to make of that. The front desk staff were nice and we helpful.

Room was very clean beds were average in comfort, TV channels did not all work but did not stay to watch cable TV , had a larger then average fridge which was nice. Would stay again if in the area. More affordable then other motels/hotels in the area of Helen GA.

After checking into my room, we went to dinner. Upon our return to the room, we walked into the room and found someone else in the room. The experience was very traumatic and could have escalated quickly. I did not feel safe. The staff told me that there was a glitch in the system but only referred to two notebooks and sheets of paper. I am extremely upset and will not be returning

Check-in Time was: 3p local time, we arrived at 5:30p and our room was NOT ready, we had to wait an additional 10 minutes. The property was convenient for walking. There was a lot of trash around the property and the pool was broke.

The service was fantastic. Justin did a great job checking us in and was very professional. The power flickered and the staff quickly knocked on the door to make sure the power was back on. They also brought us towels as soon as we asked for them. The breakfast was pretty good with many options and was consistently supplied. They were also very accommodating and flexible letting us check out a bit later as well as allowing us to leave our vehicle there while we went hiking. My only suggestion for improvement/criticism would be the ac/heaters. Ours had a lot of accumulated dust which I cleaned out. These should be cleaned monthly as it affects the air quality in the room as well as your sleep. Other than that the hotel provided a nice homey feeling for our getaway. Thank you!

The hotel takes your deposit, then charges you full price at check in, then it will refund the whole amount after the trip, a day later it will take the full amount (you've already paid out of your account).. just shady. Still haven't gotten my deposit back. Hotels.com has been no help other than acknowledging that the hotel is doing this.

We had two adults and two children and were staying two nights. We had three towels. So we asked of one more and was told we had to wait until housekeeping finished the other rooms (we checked in after 4 pm). We never received another towel that evening. The next day, the room was not even lightly cleaned or towels. I asked for one towel and the one we received had dirt on it. We were there for a baseball tournament and my son got some dirt on the top cover. We were charged $40 due to it having dirt on it. I called the hotel to speak with a manager. I ansked him if they washed it because I washed his uniform and everything came out. I was told “higher up” would have to handle the situation. I never received a call back and the $40 charge is still on my card. It has now been eight days since I requested a call from “higher up”.

Staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The coffee was cold in the early evening and I told the girl at the desk. She said she didn’t have anymore coffee and didn’t reply to the cups being out. When we checked out early in the morning, the cups were still out and the guy at the desk said he wouldn’t be making any coffee until 6:00 am or so. That works wonderful for people who need to get on the road. No coffee in the rooms or available in the lobby.

Staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The coffee was cold in the early evening and I told the girl at the desk. She said she didn’t have anymore coffee and didn’t reply to the cups being out. We really had a pleasant stay at this motel. It was clean, had great storage space and a nice size refrigerator. Every motel could be picked apart by unhappy guests but for the price it was a solid choice. The owner/manager was courteous and accommodating with any request. We will definitely stay again when visiting Helen.

This hotel is at the far end of the town, so it was a bit far to walk to the downtown area. It is, however located across from a Waterpark and the Festhall where the Oktoberfest celebration starts. Outdoor pool available. Breakfast was homemade waffles, etc... overall, good experience.

Clean, beautiful location, a long healthy walk from downtown (15 minutes). Everything is updated and clean, A/C was OK. Breakfast: Belgian waffles, bagels, muffins, bread, etc. Coffee and hot water available at lobby 24/7.

Looks like they are trying to freshen up the place, but furniture was odd, no place to sit other than the bed. The bed was comfortable, place clean. Free breakfast was a laugh.

The breakfast shouldn't really be called "breakfast." It was very disappointing. But the overall stay was fine. Older building for sure, but still pretty clean.

Staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The coffee was cold in the early evening and I told the girl at the desk. She said she didn’t have anymore coffee and didn’t reply to the cups being out. When we checked out early in the morning, the cups were still out and the guy at the desk said he wouldn’t be making any coffee until 6:00 am or so. That works wonderful for people who need to get on the road. No coffee in the rooms or available in the lobby.

Room was very clean. Really appreciated the full size refrigerator. A/C worked great. Our only issue was the VERY slippery tub. The breakfast wad continental - no fresh fruit or proteins.

This hotel was fine for the price. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were few amenities, only a very small pool. Hotel bem localizado, roupa de cama e toalhas limpas, serviço de quarto ruim, após a camareira sair notamos que apenas a cama foi arrumada e as toalhas trocadas, o piso não foi varrido. Logo na primeira noite notamos um grande inconveniente: percevejos. Matei 2 de início e algumas horas depois matei mais dois. Passamos a noite vigilantes com receio de sermos picados ao dormir.

The stay would have started off fine, but the distracted lady at the front desk forgot to actually sign us into the hotel room I PREPAID for. We got our stuff in the room, and started settling in, when another family came to the door, unlocked it and started walking into our room. I told them we were already assigned to the room! Then at first glance they have tried to update this property, but in looking closer, the room needed ALOT of attention....old toilet, doors, the door to the actual room barely would open or close, the door jam was damaged. I mentioned this before checking out the morning we left. Things were unkept, dirty. The only nice thing is that they had a good sized fridge in each room, that was a bonus for us to keep things cold and outside of a cooler in the heat of summer! I DO NOT recommend going in the pool at all. The water is not being cleaned or filtered, the water was gross and if I would have known/if they would have told us a check in, we WOULD NOT have gotten in the water. I will never stay here again. A tent in the woods would have been a better stay! Oh, and the tub wouldn't drain!

Expected a little nicer room. Arrived very late around 11PM and just wanted to take a shower, which took very long to get hot water and had little pressure. Also just watch some TV, which every channel froze up to the point you could not use the TV. The breakfast was disappointing and left without eating there. Realize this hotel is in a touristy area so expected a little nicer room for the money in off season.
