Good location for activities and venues in Southbank and West End. Easy check in and check out. Good communication from Atlas Apartment staff before checking in and during check in. Apartment condition and cleanliness was good. We were in building 1 and didn’t have a view but we weren’t worried about the view. Amenities in the apartment were excellent. Good size pool but it was very cold. Outdoor bbq area is great.

Rubbish bins ground car park under the building.Rubbish was over flowing on to the ground and stunk.Mould in the grout in the shower, spray with chlorine and bleach and leave will clean it and kill the mould spores.

The whole stay was excellent. Check in process was easy and the reception staff so friendly! Apartment was so large and clean, we were pleasantly surprised to see we had been given a 2 bedroom when we only booked 1 bedroom, but it had a wonderful view from the 8th floor, so we were very happy to be given such a lovely room. Facilities were clean and spacious, the pool is amazing and there is a massive BBQ space. On check out again the reception staff were so kind, we had an issue with our car and needed some time to resolve which meant we were an hour late to check out but they were so nice and understanding in helping us and allowing us to have that extra time so sort our car out, thank you! The only minor draw back was the shower water pressure was a bit low but for a high rise apartment block in this area, not surprising and it certainly isn’t bad. Everything was so great, we will definitely stay here again :)

We had a great time. The only downside was that the pool was not in the sun for long during the day so very cold as not heated so probably wouldn’t stay again.

We stayed in three bedroom two bathroom apartment with a view back towards the city and the river. The view was amazing. We were on the 12th floor and could see right across to the casino. The Ferris wheel and at night the lights were enchanted. The apartment itself had everything that you would require For kitchen even a laundry so perfect for a weekend away or longer. It was a great location for going to a show, which is what we had done. I’m a bit disappointment with the spa not working and it appeared not to of been working for quite some time. Which was a little bit disappointing because it was one items that I had looked for when making the booking pool and spa. At least the pool was functional.

Only real complaint about the property was the pool not being heated. Not a problem in Brisbane summer but in the first week of spring - too cold! Otherwise great property with friendly, helpful staff.

Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly which set our expectations to a high standard. However, as we were initially walking to our hotel room, we walked past a cleaner who was clearly unable to perform their duties effectively and was swearing. This behavior was quite confronting, especially for children who were also present in the elevator. Throughout our stay, we felt generally uncomfortable due to the lack of cleanliness in the hotel room. The room was in a state of disrepair, with heavily damaged skirting boards, dirty walls, windows, and surfaces. Additionally, we were dismayed to find hair in the sheets and on the pillows, dried spillages on the bedside tables and dining table, and the floors appeared to have not been vacuumed or mopped in a considerable amount of time. (Please see attached images for examples) The overall hygiene and upkeep of the room did not meet our expectations and significantly impacted our experience at your hotel.

Nice apartment, but issues with cleanliness and maintenance. Mattress cover had a stain on it and one bedside light had electrical tape wrapped around the plug as it was falling apart. Management later assured me these items would be disposed of.

Inside the apartment was physically clean, but the communal areas smelt very strongly of rubbish and that smell drifted into the apartment which was unpleasant. The sink in the bathroom was nearly blocked and drained very slowly, and there was minimal kitchen utensils/plates which made a 4 night stay challenging. Overall wouldn’t come back.

Worse bed mattresses, you sink in so bad. Found a cockroach walking in the bathroom. Pool was full area was full of rubbish and the floors were nasty. No one answers the after hours phone line for late checkin. Reception lady was very nice and polite.

It was a really nice looking 3 bedroom apartment, but it was not a great stay for us. Do not book here if you need to check-in on a weekend and/or after hours. I called multiple times to let them know when I was coming and was told “I have to call back when you are ten minutes away and the conceirge will be their to check you in”. We did this and when we arrived no one was there. When I dialled up on the intercom no one was there. I had to call back again and finally an additional 15 minutes later we get checked-in and someone was in our allocated car park, so I had to call up again… The rooms are nice, but the room that is at the front of the building, it is like a sauna in the room and the Aircon wasn’t working well. I would avoid a room on that side if you stay there. It is saved by a great area and ample things to do!

The property is located central to South Bank & the City & was easy walking everywhere. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept in. Hard edges, then saggy centres where we spent all night rolling into each other. The unit sleeps 4, however only has a 3 seater couch. Could easily fit another couch in along the window area. Can’t open window in kitchen due to blind cord’s being screwed to window. Toilets need toilet brushes. The outdoor area had old food smudged on table & balcony. Set up of the unit was otherwise good. Communication upon booking & leading up to stay was poor.

Beautiful property but the beds are terrible. We had a 2 bedroom unit and i slept in the 2nd bedroom with the 2 twin beds joined together. The bed closest to the door is in desperate need of replacing! The mattress is extremely overused and has a massive dent in it, i had terrible sleep for the 4 nights we stayed. Please replace mattresses - maybe management should check out the beds in units that are available for short-term rentals...

Balcony looked directly at the balconies of teh neighbopuring apartment block. Unfortunately, there was also a major construction site in operation 6 days a week, so it wasn't relaxing hanging out here.

It was a really nice looking 3 bedroom apartment, but it was not a great stay for us. Do not book here if you need to check-in on a weekend and/or after hours. I called multiple times to let them know when I was coming and was told “I have to call back when you are ten minutes away and the conceirge will be their to check you in”. We did this and when we arrived no one was there. When I dialled up on the intercom no one was there. I had to call back again and finally an additional 15 minutes later we get checked-in and someone was in our allocated car park, so I had to call up again… The rooms are nice, but the room that is at the front of the building, it is like a sauna in the room and the Aircon wasn’t working well. I would avoid a room on that side if you stay there. It is saved by a great area and ample things to do!

We waited for over 50 minutes at 7pm at night after travelling for 6 hours despite frequent calling until someone could check us into our room - a better option would be to leave the key in a lock box or tell us our room number prior with a code to enter. Really bad communication.

On arrival at the Atlas Apartments at 4:30pm we found that the reception office was locked and unattended. Three other people were also waiting to check-in. After numerous efforts to contact apartment management, someone finally appeared after 5:00pm when the office was supposed to be closed. After checking in, there was a bit of an issue trying to find out where we were supposed to go to as there are two buildings, One and Two. From the basement parking area there is nothing to indicate which lift goes where. This could be made much easier to understand if a map was included with all the other instructions that are issued at check-in. After finally getting into the apartment we were pleasantly surprised by the relaxing atmosphere. It was comfortable and clean with all the necessary utensils available. One thing missing that would have finished it off nicely was a coffee maker, such as a pod machine. Other than the check-in, we enjoyed our stay at Atlas Apartments.

The whole stay was excellent. Check in process was easy and the reception staff so friendly! Apartment was so large and clean, we were pleasantly surprised to see we had been given a 2 bedroom when we only booked 1 bedroom, but it had a wonderful view from the 8th floor, so we were very happy to be given such a lovely room. Facilities were clean and spacious, the pool is amazing and there is a massive BBQ space. On check out again the reception staff were so kind, we had an issue with our car and needed some time to resolve which meant we were an hour late to check out but they were so nice and understanding in helping us and allowing us to have that extra time so sort our car out, thank you! The only minor draw back was the shower water pressure was a bit low but for a high rise apartment block in this area, not surprising and it certainly isn’t bad. Everything was so great, we will definitely stay here again :)

Only real complaint about the property was the pool not being heated. Not a problem in Brisbane summer but in the first week of spring - too cold! Otherwise great property with friendly, helpful staff.

Reception is only open until 5pm. We were told we’d receive out of hour’s instructions which included a phone number to call when 10min away. Though no one answered the number and eventually I’d just get put through to an answering machine. I tried the number 6 times as well as all the numbers on the building door. We were locked out on the street for 30min at 8pm with 2 children under 5. Eventually someone answered call and let us in but we had to wait a further 10min fir the building manager (who looks after all their apartments) to drive over and give us the key. Such a stressful experience! We had started looking for alternate accommodation as we had assumed the number provided was incorrect and we weren’t getting in. Despite leaving numerous voice message no one from reception got in touch next day to apologise or check all was ok. In addition the aircon in the room did not work. We will not stay again!

Great location near Southbank parks and restaurants. The 2 bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our 6 night stay. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We did have to wait 20 minutes for the caretaker when we were 5 minutes late for check in. He was fantastic and very helpful when he arrived. Maybe there could be a key box for late arrivals?

Great location. Good facilities (kitchen and washer, dryer and ironing board). The cleaning wasn't the greatest. Only one bedside lamp in bedroom - a bit strange. Balcony looked directly at the balconies of teh neighbopuring apartment block. Unfortunately, there was also a major construction site in operation 6 days a week, so it wasn't relaxing hanging out here.

Parking was arranged and secure, but charge per day for guests who stay longer ought to be reduced. Request for 2 single beds for our second bedroom was not met. Wasn't advised to us either. Better communication would be an improvement.

Nice apartment, well furnished and good facilities. 4th floor with internal views which was pretty dark most of the time with little outlook. Pool was cold, steam room was very warm and gym was small with limited equipment.

The apartments are very spacious. Although sometimes (depending on the room) the furniture is uncomfortable. Beds are very comfortable (not hard). Building 2 aircon is not good if you feel the heat, but if you're lucky you can get a great view of the city. Building 1 aircon is amazing, downside is you're very close to your neighbours in the building next door. Overall, a great place to stay, great restaurants nearby, secure parking if you want to pay for it.
