This place was a dump. Broken elevstor, cockroaches, dirty bathroom. Very rude and way less than helpful employee at the desk. Broken vending machines.and when i first arrived and explained neiher one of us could use the stairs and asked for refund he refused. I stay in lots of motel 6 facilities that are very nice. this place should be condemned.

Desk clerk had to try three different rooms before she found one that would open with her programmed key cards, curtains in room hanging off rod/not attached, washed but dirty bath mat and towels in bathroom, no shampoo/conditioner, soap bar minuscule, only coffee or tea, no food

Desk clerk was nice and helpful. Room was clean. BUT - my room was right across from the ice machine, which people understandably were using at all hours. Very hard to sleep. I arrived fatigued and hungry after driving seven hours. Both vending machines were out of order! Too tired to go out again to get food, I looked forward to coffee in the morning. Coffee machine out of order! At least the ice machine worked.

The hallway smelled like wet dogs, the room smelled like cigarettes and mold, the air condition smelled worse, the tub had mold around it and the wall, and I was bitten by bed bugs, those sheets were Not clean, oh and a lot of suspicious looking holes in the bathroom and in the wall pointing to the bed. I slept sitting up, thank God I only booked 1 night.

This property was a disappointment from last year. There was a charge of $50 extra placed on my card pending inspection of the room at check out. Also, there was dog poop everywhere. I had to take my dog to grass around the neighboring hotel just to have them not track in other dog's feces. The carpet in the hallway was peed soaked, it clearly hadn't been cleaned for some time. The tv was small and the framing around it was broken so it covered 1/3 of the small screen. The light over the one bed was burned out so the room was very dark. I walked on the floor in the room with white socks and they were filthy. This is a very different hotel from last year.

The lobby was air conditioned, but the rest of the building felt like an oven. Our individual room AC's were not turned on when we arrived, and when turned on did not do much to fix the situation. One of the toilets was broken, and the lobby and hallways smelled like smoke. Other guests were banging on walls and doors and yelling to the point that it scared my children. The front desk offered us another set of rooms, but these were no better. They then refused to cooperate with us and became angry when we said we couldn't stay.

When we got to the property to check in, our room had be given to someone else so we got the last one available. Even though there was no smoking signs everywhere, the air was very strong of cigarette and other odor. Within 30 minutes of being in our room we spotted 4 small roaches. When we contacted the front desk to ask for bug spray we were told they did not have any and no other rooms were available. I’ve tried getting in touch with corporate but the website for the email doesn’t work correctly and I haven’t been able to find a reachable number.

-black mold in the AC -roaches -room was a hot box -elevator was broken and when asked to be on the first floor they said there was no room available so I had to walk my elderly dog with 2 bad knees up 2 flights of stairs -charged an unexpected fee -whole place smelled like gas/propane -dusty vents with an inch of dust caked in -shower had a nasty spot and they tried to repair it but smelled like eggs -microwave was so dirty and rusted

Loud banging of doors in the early morning. Springs should be attached to the room doors as some people let the doors slam, very loud. Also loud voices likely in the lobby area, early morning. Didnt have a good sleep.

The check-in was very efficient, but I booked a king bed and paid in advance, and they did not have a king when I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and an excellent value for what I paid.

For the price the location was great. The desk staff was friendly and accommodating. She even kept the coffee bar clean and had fresh coffee even at night. There are ample outlets to charge electronics but not near the bed. The hot water is really hot. Those are the positives. The shower drain was not working well so there was backed up water. A lot of it. The TV had a horrible picture something like light circles on the screen. The fridge is a nice addition to the room but did not work, only the freezer. The walls are paper thin so if anyone leaves or enters next door it can be heard especially if you’re a light sleeper. The towels need to be thrown away if they have as many stains as ours did. They were dingy and small.

For the money, Motel 6 is Motel 6. Dated property but clean and easy to get to. Lots of eateries within walking distance. I needed a crash pad for a few days of helping a friend do some demolition work. The good, room was clean, bed was comfy and plenty of hot water. The not so good, noisy A/C not installed in the wall correctly and a room door lock that was finicky. Would stay again if needed.

Back door I was told to use was propped open with a towel. Door did not look capable of locking and had no mechanism to use card key. Room smelled terribly and the AC did not work. Room temp was well over 80. Motel was run down and I refused to stay here. Desk clerk was polite, but refused refund.

The whole experience was horrible! 3 people at check in and they screwed up everything! They tried checking in 2 different parties at once on one machine They said they applied the other persons credit to my account do I should give them cash back even though I paid through Expedia. 25 minutes wasted at check in. As soon as I turned on the room light, cockroaches started running. We turned around and checked out! Not even an apology from the 3 at the counter although they did offer another room. Ugh. Don’t stay here unless you want roaches to come home with you! Btw the room was totally antiquated. I wish Expedia would check these places out before listing them.

Check in was not able to find my reservation of a first floor room for a very long time and only after my insistence that I have an accessible room. Check in extremely slow & tedious for the guest before me as well. Room had tiny little pillows on the bed . No more pillows available at front desk. No trash can in room. It appears that there are long time residents at the property. Currently cannot leave because a car has been parked directly behind mine blocking me in a corner.

I booked a room with a king size bed and ended up with a queen. I didn’t go back to the desk and try to change rooms as it is for only one night. The room is very basic but clean and well maintained. Check in was fast and the person checking me in was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for walking to a lot of places to eat. Easy access to I-95.

For the money its Ok for a limited stay. Dog friendly, very convenient to the 95 and tons of restaurants in the immediate area. Really easy parking if you have a big RV or trailer. The town of St Mary about 6 miles due East is a very cute easy to see old South feel town for a quick bite or stroll on the water. No beach! The room we had SMELLED LIKE URINE. We have dogs and we accept that there are some issues with dogs, but this place needs a DEEP CLEANIING WITH BLEACH OR SOMETHING. Would I stay again? Yes! The value is at the Motel 6. The La Quinta across the Freeway wants $50 per dog. Motel 6 - No Charge. Just clean the place please.

We stayed here while escaping a Florida hurricane. Not a fancy place, but we were grateful to find shelter. Many nearby dining options. All staff were friendly, efficient and courteous. We would stay here again.

For the money, Motel 6 is Motel 6. Dated property but clean and easy to get to. Lots of eateries within walking distance. I needed a crash pad for a few days of helping a friend do some demolition work. The good, room was clean, bed was comfy and plenty of hot water. The not so good, noisy A/C not installed in the wall correctly and a room door lock that was finicky. Would stay again if needed.

The room was clean. The hotel was 100% non-smoking so that was fantastic. Comfortable but too noisy from sketchy people/day laborers staying or living there. Good secure place and great location. Price was great! They should have house keeping go into the rooms every day though and clean because unless it is requested, they won't do it every day.

My first time lodging at a motel 6 it was neat and smelled so fresh and clean. However the floor was very dusty and sticky so we Had to keep shoes on when walking around in the room. Also, all the vending machines were out of order. Yes I would stay here again it close to i95 and lots of food choices. Everyone was friendly and work hard to keep the place smelling great and looking clean.

We stayed here for one night before leaving on a backpacking trip to Cumberland Island. We were impressed with how nice it was. Breakfast was not provided but for the price, it was well worth it. If we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here again.

Desk clerk was nice and helpful. Room was clean. BUT - my room was right across from the ice machine, which people understandably were using at all hours. Very hard to sleep. I arrived fatigued and hungry after driving seven hours. Both vending machines were out of order! Too tired to go out again to get food, I looked forward to coffee in the morning. Coffee machine out of order! At least the ice machine worked.

For the price the location was great. The desk staff was friendly and accommodating. She even kept the coffee bar clean and had fresh coffee even at night. There are ample outlets to charge electronics but not near the bed. The hot water is really hot. Those are the positives. The shower drain was not working well so there was backed up water. A lot of it. The TV had a horrible picture something like light circles on the screen. The fridge is a nice addition to the room but did not work, only the freezer. The walls are paper thin so if anyone leaves or enters next door it can be heard especially if you’re a light sleeper. The towels need to be thrown away if they have as many stains as ours did. They were dingy and small.

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times. I like it. For the money, it's very good. For a one night stay it is completely adequate. Clean. Comfortable bed. Bring your own shampoo. It's no frills, but you're not paying for frills. Lots of food and gas options right there.

It was difficult to get the attention of the person behind the desk when I arrived. He was probably watching soccer and it was late. Perhaps he couldn’t hear. I was no more than 4 ft. However, there was a card to call the phone number, and I called the number while I stood there in front of him. He ignored that until I yelled once beyond my loud hellos. That felt very dismissive. A woman came down to check me in and she was very friendly and very, very helpful. That initial experience however, after a day of driving, was a little exhausting. The room was clean. I needed help to figure out how to adjust the air handler because the buttons have been rubbed off (room damp and slightly musty). The tub clearly had a hole in it and was covered with some sort of rubber adhesive, so it was very unbalancing to stand because my feet kept sinking. The bathroom itself clearly needs more than paint.

The price was right for what I needed a clean bed and a hot shower.Toilet paper holder was missing .Bathroom fan did not work and there was a plastic bag covering the smoke detector.Young lady at the front desk Karen was the best.Very friendly assisted me on directions and always had a smile for me.

While the staff was very nice, the air conditioner in the room (#116) did not work properly, the microwave didn't work either, and they only had one luggage cart in the whole hotel. While we were tired of driving all day, we were too tired to ask for another room
