Pics on site are definitely from a long time ago. Dirty. Smelled like something green in the whole place. And biggest thing is that the pool wasn't in service and hasn't been in a very long time. If we would have known we would have not booked the hotel

My room had large, disgusting black stains on the carpet and had it not been the 4th of July week I would have left! The pool was green and there was trash all over the outside of the property! The people inside were very helpful but I would not stay here again.

The rooms were filthy! Hairs all in the beds, dirty walls, dirty toilets, someone else wash clothes was in our bathroom. Went to three other rooms and only one of them was decent enough to sleep in. No water in the pool and they ran out of breakfast at 8:30am and shut the breakfast down.

I couldn't use the shower because there was mold in the grout. The onsite laundry was out of order, the pool was green and kind of terrifying. It was ok if you just need someplace to sleep, but It was pricy for the lack of amenities.

I am disappointed that I paid a higher rate here than I would where I normally stay to have an outdoor pool and couldn’t even use the pool. Very disappointing to pay full price and not have everything

Overall property condition is pretty poor. Staff is friendly and helpful but hotel needs a complete refresh Pool looked absolutely disgusting. They would be better off leaving it empty then to leave it green and full of debri.

The room was filthy. The tile floor in the bathroom had some kind of film on it, it was slippery like walking on a greased floor besides being dirty. The bath tub did not look clean and corrosion all along the safety bars of the tub. Paint was peeling on the ceiling and a cockroach found in the room. This hotel needs to be re-modeled.

The bathtub has a horrible stain in the bottom of it. There were roaches in the room. I went to the breakfast, and the only thing there was was a few Link sausages there was nothing else and I didn’t come at the end of the breakfast it was roughly in the middle of it. And as far as the staff goes, I never saw anyone but one person when I checked in, and that includes at breakfast in the morning. There was no one in there.

I booked a five day stay at the Lagrange Comfort Inn and Suites. I arrived on Thursday May 8th, 2025 and checked out on Tuesday May 13th, 2025. Our hotel room had roaches and they were present every single day we were there. I notified the hotel multiple times about this. The room was dirty, bath tub needs a serious scrubbing not just spraying sanitizer, bed skirt had dried blood on it or something that looked like it, roaches in bathroom and main room, bathroom vent was clogged with dust, AC unit had dust in it. The shower curtain had stains on it, dust and dirt on the bathroom floors, etc. This hotel needs to be shut down and a deep cleaning done before it is allowed to be opened again. Will never stay there again.

The hotel was ok. When you walk in, it reaps of musk and male cologne or fragrance. When i walked in my room, it smelt like dirty mop water. The mirrors were oily dirty and the bed skirt was stained. The wall of the tub was mildewed. I made a list and took it to the receptions to give to housekeeping. The next day, it was slightly better but i just bought my own cleaning supplies and cleaned the room. The only plus about the room was the garden tub.

Our room was a handicapped room- NOT requested, but it served, and decently fitted out. It was near exits and parking on the ground floor. The bed was comfortable. The HVAC worked well. The furnishings were a little worn and the hall and room carpet in the room and hall was badly stained. No off smells, though. The tile in the bathroom and shower might be slippery when wet, and the shower wall tile was badly mildewed. The shower curtain was maybe a little close to the outer edge of the shower sill and water flowed onto the floor. I mopped it up with a hand towel and the bath mat. The hand towel was filthy afterward. No maid service during our two night stay. We ran out of in-roomn coffee and clean linen. i went to the desk but nobody was there and we let it ride. The fridge needed defrosting. The TV channel selection was difficult to understand and certainly bore no relation to the instruction card on the chest under the TV. Our room had blackout curtains which was a plus, but there was some road noise. Breakfast was poor, with insufficient coffee even before 8 AM, and the 1st AM, they were running out of bread selections early. Cinnamon rolls 2nd AM were small and stale. The only yogurt offered was "Trix" banana-strawberry. The steam tray was off the 1st AM and food was cold as if recently refrigerated. The 2nd AM fresh sausages (no bacon) were mixed with the old. The home-fries were cold and unappetizing. CONCLUSION: STAY AWAY.

Lots of trash in the parking lot. Was given a room at the very end of the building next to the road. Very, very noisy. The breakfast was not kept stocked. There was no regular coffee one hour after breakfast started. Was locked out of room when back from breakfast with over an hour left before checkout.

Assigned room has not been cleaned and dirty bedding was in a pile on the sofa. Went back to front desk - thought key didn’t work on second room so went back to desk again. As it turns out, the door simply wouldn’t open without body slamming it. It was late, we were tired, so we just dealt with it. Room wouldn’t cool even set at 60 degrees, stained carpet, uneven flooring, volume didn’t work on TV rendering it useless (no, it wasn’t muted), bathroom door couldn’t clear the toilet. The only positive we could come up with was fantastic water pressure. Truly disappointed.

Check in was very easy. Room was spacious. Bed was very comfortable. We had an accessible room which I needed. It was set up perfectly. We slept in too late to enjoy the breakfast, but we are repeat customer to this hotel. The cleaning lady found our personal blanket, and she ran it down to us while we were loading up the car. Now that's customer service.

Our Stay was a very pleasant one.. We found the room to be very clean and accommodating.. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.. We enjoyed the variety of breakfast.Items that was well stocked... Parking was great, and we felt very secure in the parking lot... We would highly recommend your hotel to our family and friends.

My husband and I drove 5 hours to come here for my son's wrestling event. We called the hotel prior to leaving to confirm our reservation I booked through hotels dot com and was good to go. Upon arriving, the clerk took my information then tells me the reservation was canceled because it was sold out. I was upset but was cordial and asked to speak with a manager, she said no. She said since I booked through a 3rd party and they haven't released the fund, my reservation was canceled. I asked to speak to the manager again she said no. She said I need to leave the property or she will call security. I said that is fine. The cop showed up about 5 minutes later and asked each of us to explain what happened. The clerk then said well she had to give my room away because another person needed the same room and she had no choice. That's not what she said previously. Cop asked her to give me a receipt for the canceled room and somehow a room became available. It was not the same set up we asked for but we were tired and didn't want to fuss anymore. The room was less than mediocre at best. The bathtub had mildew and shower would not stop leaking all night. The beds were worn and gross. The carpeting was disgusting. Please don't give them any of your business.

Our first room was locked from the inside… we went to the front desk and waited for the employee to come in from a cigarette break to have the same issue then get moved to a new room. I booked this hotel partly hoping for the free breakfast, but didn’t realize the breakfast didn’t start until 7a and we needed to head to the airport by 630a. Most hotels we’ve stayed at have had breakfast available at 6. I would’ve found a different hotel had I known this, as this was not the cheapest option… Beds were comfortable though.

Ive stayed here twice in Lagrange and am always pleased with this hotel. It's clean,safe and has a a great breakfast. The hot items were sausage links,eggs and tator tots. On the 2nd and 3rd floor if your on the side facing town you get a beautiful city view. Comfort in is very close to the Great Wolf Lodge 8 to 12 miles. It's also close to the Lafayette Fountain which you must see in Lagrange GA.

Lots of trash in the parking lot. Was given a room at the very end of the building next to the road. Very, very noisy. The breakfast was not kept stocked. There was no regular coffee one hour after breakfast started. Was locked out of room when back from breakfast with over an hour left before checkout.

The rooms were filthy! Hairs all in the beds, dirty walls, dirty toilets, someone else wash clothes was in our bathroom. Went to three other rooms and only one of them was decent enough to sleep in. No water in the pool and they ran out of breakfast at 8:30am and shut the breakfast down.

Really disappointed in the continental breakfast. No yogurt, empty fruit bowls, nothing got replenished. Hot water (for tea) was cold, orange juice tasted like an "orange drink" :( It’s not hard to put out pop tarts, granola bars, and some fresh fruit. Also, the whole hotel had a bad smell that was masked with febreeze. One bath towel in the bathroom when we checked in, had to go to the desk to get more. Just not impressed!

The bathtub has a horrible stain in the bottom of it. There were roaches in the room. I went to the breakfast, and the only thing there was was a few Link sausages there was nothing else and I didn’t come at the end of the breakfast it was roughly in the middle of it. And as far as the staff goes, I never saw anyone but one person when I checked in, and that includes at breakfast in the morning. There was no one in there.

Rundown property. Carpets are old. Room we were assigned had no TV remote and no shower curtain. Check-in person was very friendly and helpful, but it was obvious she was dealing with many customer complaints. One of the worse Comfort Inns we have stayed at.

I booked this room last minute for a last minute trip with my daughter. I typically read reviews but since it was so last minute I went based off the 8.0 rating. I wish I had read the reviews. Check in was the quickest that I have ever had. Wasn’t told breakfast hours or told that the WiFi password was written inside the keycard. In hindsight, I should have looked, but when you’re tired you just don’t think about it. Upon entering the room, the door was difficult to open and then we literally had to pull the door sideways to get it to shut, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. If someone wanted to attack me going in the room, they would have had plenty of time to do so because of how difficult the door was to shut. There was mold above the shower. The water gets really hot and the water pressure is great. The pillows are comfortable. The ice machine was covered in black mildew/mold. There were no liners for the ice buckets, which were also gross looking on the inside. The furniture has lots of chips, scrapes etc. This property is outdated and not well maintained. It is located near good dining options. I have no idea how the rating is 8.0. If ever back in this area, we will definitely book elsewhere.
