Rodeway Inn Marietta near Dobbins ARB

Rooms were unbelievably dirty, had roaches, dirty sheets hair everywhere. Maintenance work pulled knife of me when I went to complain. Had to call police. Was locked out of room. This place should be condemned. It’s a hotel for street walker and drug addicted criminals

We asked for a non smoking room for one night and the room reeked of smoke, the walls were very damaged, the lights didn't work, there was no "no smoking" sign on the door, and the owner refused to give us a refund. The room was absolutely disgusting. There was another customer who came in and said he had roaches in his room and the owner still refused to refund.

The room they put me in had roaches crawling around everywhere. I was a lot of them . The service with the front desk was very poor and in the middle of the night someone kept tryna open my door .

There were roaches everywhere, all night. There was food, actual chunks of food on the ceiling, entire room crusted from many previous stays. I think maybe one outlet had worked. Most of the sockets look like they've caught on fire a few times. Can share photos on here? I never write reviews and ive stayed here a bit in the past but my last stay was absolutely one of the worst stays that ive been anywhere. $70 and for what?

This was hands down the most disgusting property I have ever stayed at. The first room had literal feces on the sheet and urine on the floor near the bed. When we went to the front desk and shown pictures to the worker he said he could put us in his “nice” room at no extra charge. The next room we were put in smelt like mold/mildew and the bathroom door had been punched in to the point you could see through it with the door closed. They used clear packaging tape to close the hole. When we went back to the front desk the worker was extremely rude about it and refused to give us a refund even though he could not put us in a clean room. I truly hope this property gets closed down soon if they find those rooms to be acceptable to stay in.

Bathroom door broken from a forced entry. Rusted and mold in and around the bathtub. Bathroom light fixture broken and exposed. Fire alarm covered. Bathroom sink broken. Unclean microwave and refrigerator. Room smelled filthy.

Room was dirty, floor nasty,nothing was plugged in, shower didn't drain,ac didn't work, pillows way to soft. Would not recommend or go again.

The room was quite dirty. The floor was sticky. Mold/mildew around tub. Dropped something that rolled under the bed. Trash, food containers with old food and lots of dust under bed. Much repair needed. Unpleasant stay, however, was advised there were no refunds.

They do not have any staff to give extra towels they barely give you any towels the room bear was sitting on wood bricks. It smells really bad. The sheets had old blood on them. The lights did not work everything under the sun. This room was horrible. we did not even sleep

In Room 216 the tub was rotted out and mold on the celling the room smelled like mold and cigarettes even though it was a non smoking and one of the lamps were torn off the wall if I could give 0 stars I would have I went to the hotel next door didn’t even stay at the roadway took a piss in there that’s all it was worth

Not quiet

The floor in the room was coated in dirt which covered my socks within a few steps. The WiFi didn’t work the entire time I was there and the front desk said they’d let management know but I doubt that happened. The furniture looked like it was found while dumpster diving. I did sleep great! I tried not to “discover” too many icky things so I didn’t explore too much out of fear. They should REALLY put more energy into this place because WOOF.

Not good. Someone had punched or kicked a hole in the bathroom door. Smelled terrible and like smoke, in a smoke free room. Felt unsafe there. Spots on the couch and dirty room. Advice to not go here.

The location is amazing , very cheap . All rooms smells like smoke even the non smoking one . This def needs a revampz it’s like 1970 never went away.

For the one night we stayed it was ok. Convenient to the highway and not a far drive to where we needed to go. Only 2 problems for me. The TV didnt work which sucks when you have a kid staying there. The shower curtain had mold on the bottom.

No internet connection. I could not complete work for a business trip here. I had to spend more money to go somewhere else just for internet. I need a refund.

Comfortable bed, good proximity to food. Definitely good for a night or two. People at desk were friendly & helpful. I would stay here again, were I to visit the area again. Hotel rates a Solid A.

They were very rude. They were banging on my door at 10:40 in the morning when checkout is at 11 AM walk in while I was naked and getting dressed I proceeded to let them know that I was putting clothes on and booking another night online I shut the door and they reopen the door back up, and continue to yell to the point that I didn’t even want to book there anymore and decided to just pack all my things and go to another hotel not to mention my room was missing a refrigerator and microwave that I didn’t receive until two days later, also we had to change rooms due to mice and roaches the first night .

Police were called on the Manager, Sunni. He was argumentative and verbally abusive to the guests trying to check in and refused to honor my pre-paid reservation on the following day. Expedia has made several attempts to have the Manager authorize the release since I never checked in, however he has avoided all attempts at communication and refuses to authorize the release siting its non-refundable. He is scamming guests and Expedia is allowing it with their claims they have to get permission from the hotel manager to refund a hotel stay that never took place. I have reported this matter to my bank, the GA Attorney General, Secretary of State, Federal Trade Commission, US Department of Justice, Better Business Bureau, and the regulatory agencies for the hospitality and hotel industries. I demanded an in-depth investigation to the fraudulent business and transaction practices of both Expedia and Rodeway Inn. I asked for a refund of this denied stay, and Expedia is hiding behind the hotel (no contact with manager to authorize refund). I just want my refund and I won't stop exposing this scam until I receive it!

Do NOT book a room here. Do NOT bring service dogs. Staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful and their attitude was despicable. Staff would not allow me to speak when I tried to calmly explain that my fully task trained service dog was medical equipment and not a pet. He spoke over me anytime I tried to talk. Staff would not allow my service dog to accompany me to a regular room, they discriminated against us and forced us to change rooms to a “pet-friendly” room. He insisted that they couldn’t allow us in that room because of “allergies” and that was just their “pet policy”. My service dogs were in full gear and a perfect heel and perfect manners. Because we were exhausted after 16 straight hours of driving, we decided to just go along with the changing of rooms. When we opened the door to the room, it wreaked of smoke in a supposedly “smoke-free” room. It was dirty and gross. The smoke detector was gone, the door had been broken into countless times. The bottom of the door was bent outward. There were holes in the ceiling and flooring. There ware huge patches of mold. Outside on the wall, the fire extinguisher was missing and the box had been smashed. There were smashed windows. Very uncomfortable and unsafe property. We did not stay, we left immediately. We requested a refund but was denied.

I had reservations through Expedia and was paid in full. I was going to check in late after q concert and attempted to reach the clerk multiple times to inform them we would be late. In spite of being paid in full and attempting to make sure we had a room ahead of time, Mr. Patel gave our room away and screwed us over, forcinge to drive home over 2 hours at 2 AM. I feel like this place is shady and would have gladly kept our money if we hadn't called BS. This place seems like it is run by hustlers. Stay away. Also thanks for nothing Expedia. Way to hold your vendors accountable. Last time it was a cancelled flight and nearly not getting home. Strike 2. One more and I'm done.

My stay was ok but could have been better. Check in was a breeze and the staff was amazing. The room however was not the grandest of rooms. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. Unfortunately, during my stay there were several roaches that I had in my room. Thank God I brought my own bug spray, which is what I usually bring with me just in case. In addition, the vent in my bathroom leaked water when the room above me had to use the shower I guess. I mentioned about the roaches in my room to the front desk as I wanted to extend my stay and they informed me that they had pest control come by to fix this problem. When I requested for a different room, they offered to lower the price if I stayed in the same room. I took them up on the offer and they were very professional about it. The other guests that stayed at the hotel were "interesting", if that is a good choice of words. I would not recommend this hotel, to be completely honest with you. Even though the staff was accommodating, to a certain extent, due to the comfort level of the room and the other guests these are the main reasons why I will not stay at this hotel and not recommend anyone to stay either. The only good perk of this hotel is the location. It was close to several dining options and public transportation.

Check in was a breeze, room very clean, property well kept, bathroom very clean, very friendly and helpful employees at hotel.

Had issue when checking in that night. I commented about it and next morning Shane was at my room concerned and taking of the issue. I was impressed. I will come back again to his hotel and tell family about it. Awesome job

Arrived and couldn’t even check in, lobby was closed and all lights around building were off. Called the property multiple times and they immediately failed. Checked into another nearby hotel and messaged Expedia about a refund. They said the hotel had seventy two hours to respond and when they didn’t, my refund was denied. Instead of recognizing that the hotel not responding was my initial problem, they used that as the reason I couldn’t get a refund instead. Only when I flipped it around and stated that Expedia is the one marketing a hotel that I couldn’t check into, did they allow the refund. Ridiculous process and definitely not a place to stay, you can’t check in even if you wanted to lol

Clean, safe, and convenient. Available and courteous staff

The property was very close to the Interstate exit and was near a variety of dining locations. The room provided a restful stay.

The staff is always helpful and the area is great

I love this motel because the rooms are unique and spacious, but most of all, the staff is kind and courteous. Compared to the similar prices hotels in the area they are wonderful. Great price too. I have had no problem with roaches. I can walk to places to eat and the bus stop easily from here. Thanks for providing such a great place to stay.

This property is affordable and located not far from many attractions.

Falsely stated pet friendly on website. Got there and a sign in window of lobby and on desk NO PETS. Advertised free breakfast, that was false as well. Alot of questionable activity at 3am! Looked trashy!!

Nice place but so-called breakfast was super pathetic. I grabbed a yogurt to go and called it good 😑

I’m tired of properties advertising amenities that they have no plans providing - in this case they advertise breakfast and the night manager says flatly they don’t provide breakfast. I’m tired of the blatant disregard and lack of consideration for the customer. In this case their were multiple outlets that didn’t work, no Internet, etc. Rodeway used to be a respectable brand name - apparently that time has psssed.
