Comfort Suites Milledgeville

They were remodeling and started making noice very early in the morning… It’s a bit rundown so it does need remodeling…

Facility is under renovation and completely a mess. Most of the extras are closed and forget about breakfast as out of everything.

Lots of construction going on with parking and repairs being done.

The lobby was clean and updated, but the rooms are definitely in need of an update. All metal fixtures were rusted, walls stained and in need of fresh paint; bathroom was very dated. We had two roaches in our room during our one night stay. One of the outlets and lamps by the bed did not work. Parking lot definitely needs repaving. Guests outside the room and upstairs were very noisy. The room was large in the beds and pillows were comfortable, though. Overall, it was not a good value for the money.

The lobby was clean and looked up to date, but my room lacked full updates. Curtains were not even hanging correctly. The AC unit worked great, but it smelled like mold while blowing. The toilet ran continuously and the tub looked dirty (maybe stained), but I wore slip ons because it disgusted me. They half a$$ed the upgrades and improvements and it lacked feeling comfortable. I can say the bed was clean and comfortable. How about you turn the AC on in the hallways? You step out of the elevator and you are immediately hit with warm air. Do better!!

About 7 minutes from GCSU campus, staff were all very nice and friendly. Inside pool was a little too chilly to swim but it was also a cooler day than normal.

Expensive for condision of property. Get rid of junk, by side entrances...

Everything was great, beds were comfortable. Pool was warm and nice. Breakfast was great. Staff was very nice.

The floor looked like it had not been mopped as their were several spots that appeared to be easily moppable. The hook was missing from the back of the bathroom door so no where to hang towels, the tub has not been cleaned well inside or out. It was dingy and looked like someone ran their fingers through it, hard to describe you would have to see it, the phone didn’t work in the room, i had to call the front desk from my cell phone and lastly and most importantly, we killed 2 bugs in the bathroom. For $185 per night on the 2nd floor, absolutely NOT! I do not recommend and i will never stay there again. I'm sure they will work on improvement so maybe the next guest will have a better experience.

The only think nice about the hotel was that the front desk allowed us into the room about 10 minutes earlier than proposed check in. We went to the pool for 15 minutes while waiting to check in. The pool is a hazardous mess, the ceiling in the far left side is bowing and about to collapse, there was rust, mold inside the pool area (ceilings, floor), the pool bathroom was disgusting, dirty, smelly, probably moldy, although I couldn't see mold. There was a weird podcast playing that sounded like a horror movie. The rooms was not terrible, but there was body hair on the 'clean' sheets when we walked in, the toilet paper dispenser was rusty' half painted and fully coming out of the wall. The bathtub and bathroom walls had large stains on them, not sure if it was dirty paint or fluid of some sort. The couch in the main room area was filthy and the floors has staining on them as well. I will never stay at this hotel again. The only reason we did is it was the only room available in all of Milledgeville.

There were 3 roaches that I saw in my room. The bathroom was extremely dated with the caulking in the shower having mold and the water fixtures having a line of rust running down. The closet did not have a door. The hotel carpet is extremely dated. It looks horrible. Door mats in front of each door attempt to hide the faded and stained carpet.

Room was big and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was disgusting, mold and the sides of the tub and the ceiling.

Absolutely disgusting from the dirty worn hallway to the dead bug to someone else’s hair in the shower to the black mold to the tepid coffee. Milledgeville hotels literally have a captive audience and never fail to charge big city prices for absolute flophouse facilities.

Traveler did not stay, arrived at room and it was so Dirty went to another Hotel.

This property was a disappointment when we entered our room. There were a couple of bugs dead or live ones crawling on the walls. The bathroom was nasty for the bathtub had mold/mildew. Overall, the room needed updating and cleaning. We couldn’t wait to leave.

Black mold all around the shower, roaches in the bathroom, toilet holder hanging out if the wall.

My toilet didn't work properly (I had to manually turn off the water line off) and the fire alarm battery started beeping in the morning (luckily after I had woke up). The maintenance person came and worked on it but I got the impression the owners/managers are not proactive when it comes to attention to detail for the rooms. I thought the breakfast was great, and they had it set up and ready to go before the official breakfast hours. The staff was really nice and welcoming as well.

Like many hotels, they remodel only what they have to and leave it still feeling dated. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Breakfast was the usual so-so eggs sausage and waffles. Coffee was super hot one day and luke warm the next. In general was good and I would stay again if the price was right.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very nice & helpful. My room & bathroom were clean. I had trouble closing my room door. I also had trouble with keeping the drain in the tub up to make sure it wouldn't fill up with water.

The biggest problem is that our A/C unit was leaking water. The staff at the front desk said it was due to rain; however, water covered the floor at check in and it hadn't rained all day. Its obvious that the reviews are inflated on this website.

Carpet was sticky and floor sagging towards the middle of the room. Toilet seat was cracked and bathroom was not cleaned very well. Arrived late and front desk assistant was not very responsive and we had to repeat our information multiple times.

Had to telephone the hotel to get someone to check us in. Then had to do the same to check out. Breakfast wasn’t there. Door trim on bathroom door was rotted off about 3” from the floor and the door wouldn’t close.

Had a peaceful evening. Daniahsa was great front desk customer service. The only issue was there was a roach crawling on the wall by the food area.

AWFUL!! DO NOT TRUST THE POSITIVE RATING! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! I booked Comfort Suites in Milledgeville, GA based on positive reviews, but this place is a nightmare. The entire hotel reeks of urine. The furniture and floors are filthy and damaged—like they were salvaged from a dumpster. One room had a mysterious spill on the floor and urine in the toilet. We checked other rooms and they were just as disgusting. We refused to stay and had to relocate to another city. The front desk initially promised a full refund, then backtracked and offered only one. The manager was evasive, dishonest, and clearly uninterested in resolving the issue. When Expedia tried to contact them, the manager was suddenly “in a meeting” and never responded to calls or emails. This hotel has zero integrity. They care more about keeping a few hundred dollars than doing the right thing. If you stay here, expect filth, lies, and no customer service. Save yourself the trouble—sleep in your car if you have to. This place should be removed from Expedia entirely. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

Quick in and out stay for a celebration in the city. Greeted by a pleasant front desk agent who was happy to explain the check-in process along with give details about breakfast included with stay. Cookies were available. Quiet and easy access to area visiting.

The staff was fantastic and so accomadating my crazy stop in. I was just passing through for a day and they were wonderful.

The man at the counter was super friendly and the room was nice and COOL when I arrived which was very nice. (I hate when I check into a room and it’s too hot in there!) The room was really large and comfortable. I didn’t eat the breakfast the next morning, but I’m glad it was offered!

Staff service and accommodation is excellent. I’ve decided when having to travel to this area for business THIS is where I will stay from now on.

We arrived and our room wasn't ready, although we booked the night before so it would be ready when we arrived early in the morning. We ate the breakfast that they had, which is not what is listed on their board, until we were grossed out by a roach crawling on the back on one of our chairs then another one on our table. We got up, advised the staff and her response was, "Yeah, we've been trying to get rid of them." Once in our room we were still pretty grossed out and was afraid to set anything on the floor. We were exhausted and went to bed at 6:30am. My fiance woke up to use the restroom and the entire room floor was went from the toilet leaking. Contacted the front desk and she said she would send someone up. 2 hours later, no one had shown up. I was heading downstairs and saw a guy who works in housekeeping, advised him of the issue and he stated, "We no longer have a maintenance person". He did, however, try to fix the issue and brought a lot of towels to soak up the water. I wish I remembered his name, because he was the most helpful person there. He told us we would need to swap rooms, so I contacted the front desk, and she said there were no other rooms available. I told the guy, and he went down, made sure we were switched to another room. The new room had no issues, thanks to him. Needless to say, I will never stay at this hotel again when in the area. I'd rather sleep in my car.

Very clean, good breakfast

Bathrooms are not well cleaned and maintained. Need to get back to basics on breakfast, too prefab and dry pastry. Needs real eggs and fresh baked pastries. Bed and linings perfect. Bug spraying needed badly.
