Saturday morning the front desk clerk was working by himself also handling the breakfast area. He did a wonderful job and was very pleasant no matter the circumstances. However, Friday evening when we checked in, there was a dirty washcloth hanging on the shower curtain, the toilet handle is installed upside down which took a few minutes to figure out how to flush the toilet and the pool area had wet towels on the floor and chairs and no clean towels for us to use. I was not impressed upon arrival. Overall, it was a decent stay but not what I was expecting.

Hotels.com lists this hotel as having a hot tub and indoor pool. When I got there, was told hot tub was removed 10 years ago, and found the heated indoor pool was ice cold and was told it would be get any warmer. Even though the sink and tub would not drain and there was a bullet hole in the window glass, the room was ok. Breakfast was not great, but I have seen worse. I booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub and pool, so I was bummed out after the letdown of that.

First of all, I want to say that the staff are friendly and helpful. I don’t want my review to reflect on them, because it seems that their short-staffed and despite that, they were kind and did the best they could to accommodate their guests. Our family stayed in 2 rooms for 4 nights. The facility is in need of updating and repairs. We couldn’t use the fitness room because the AC was out and it was a balmy 84* with no windows. The carpeting all over the property (rooms and common areas) are in serious need of cleaning, The grounds around the hotel had a good bit of trash. The comforter was torn and missing its stuffing. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices, including eggs, sausage and potatoes, yogurt, and baked goods. I have stayed at this brand of hotel and seen much better quality in their furniture and facilities, so it was a bit disappointing.

I checked in late at night and was ready to rest in my room. I set my ipad and phone on the bedside table to discover later that their was an oily substance on the table. There were stains on the carpet and the covering on the table was peeling off. When we went to the pool the next morning, the exterior door was propped open allowing insects into the building.

The interior of the building is getting “tired”. The carpet in the 1st floor hallway tends to ripple up moisture (coming through the floor from the pool in the basement?); the carpeting in our room was stained and again tired looking. But then again, I am getting old and tired also. And a little sun stained also. But the staff members were excellent! Debbie was especially helpful, humorous and nice at the front desk. So over all a very good for short stay.

Area was good & safe. Staff was nice and friendly. Parking is not the best. Hallway carpet smells. They need to upgrade hotel. 1st day there, I had no soap or Shampoo in Shower dispensers. Lamp next to bed didn’t work, and I got woken up at 4am with the person above me making noise. Also, they only come every 3days to clean your room. But if you need towels, they will bring you some.

The room smelled like urine. The bed linens were stained and the mattress cover had dark brown stains on the sides. The shower was dirty, the grout had mold and floors were dirty. The pool looked like a pond with scum floating on the top. We were booked for two nights and we left after one. They tried to get us another room , but the linens again were stained, had a cigarette burn in them and black smudges on pillow case. The hotel appears run down and in need of renovations. There is only so much air fresher they can spray

Before arriving I spoke with a young man and he made a accommodations of giving me and my family con joining rooms and we really appreciated that. Check in went smoothly. The bed wasn't comfortable at all, the room was nice but not spotless, not to complain but there was stains in the carpet, walls and shower stall.

First time staying at a Country Inn property, and I was a tad disappointed based upon the ratings given. Staff was friendly enough, but elevator is not centrally located & hotel looks to be undergoing some needed renovations. Door difficult to open & close, and once in the room, it was quiet aside from hearing the water running in shower in room above us.

Ive bever been to a better smelling hotel in my life. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was perfect size for my husband and myself. Our room faced a wooded area with a pond, it was pieceful. The only issue was the curtains. There wasnt a way to close out the light and one rod was almost broken. That being said, id stay here again. It was a great experience

I typically enjoy Country Inns. The carpet throughout is very old and has a musty smell. The elevator cab floor had something spilled/not mopped both days. My room door was difficult to open and would not close securely unless I pulled it tight. The bed linens were on the thin side and just mediocre. The TV should be replaced. It was so blue that it was difficult to see. Lastly, the bathroom lighting was very dim. A make up light would be helpful. Breakfast was good.

When we arrived the front desk was empty. There was no bell to ring. I waited for 30 min and then this lady comes walking in from the front doors with her keys. She said she had to run out so there was literally NO ONE working there or on site for over 30 min. I waited 30 min to check in and there was a lady sitting in the lobby that said the front desk worker had left the building 20 min before we walked in so she was gone nearly an hour.

The front desk clerk knew me by name when I walked in at 9:30 PM to register and gave me a warm welcome. It was amazing. It was like I’d just come as a guest in her home. I’d traveled from Washington DC and was weary and she just made my day. The room was outstanding and everything was sparking clean. I may extend my stay.

The front desk staff are very welcoming and professional. They’re not rude or have a nasty attitude. The only thing is their system was messing up with my reservation. I had to call a third party to get it fixed. The front desk employee was very patient and polite with me and helped me get everything done.

I was there for 13 days and they avoided cleaning my room. When I complained they said they would send someone and no one ever came. One night I came back to my room and someone had placed a do not disturb sign on my door. It wasn’t me. It felt very creepy and I was concerned about going inside. When I went inside the room was still dirty. I noticed the manager staring at me strangely and I felt uncomfortable. He gave me an unwelcomed feeling. My room was cleaned once well and after that nothing until I complained about it. There were rooms that were cleaned everyday like clock work but my room was always ignored. I have stayed at this hotel many times and the service was great. This time was the worse experience ever. I will never stay there again. It must be under new management.

I have been to many hotels throughout my life and have never complained about one until now. I couldn’t even complete my stay and had to leave early. The toilet didn’t flush, there were stains on the bed, no hot water, and the room was filthy. When I asked for a refund, I was told the manager would be in at 11. When I returned at 11:15, I was told she hadn’t shown up yet and that they would make sure she called me. I didn’t hear anything, so I returned at 5:00 and was told that it wasn’t her problem and that she had other stuff to deal with. She told me she would give me a 10% discount t and that was all. I told her I was going to call the board of health and she told me to go right ahead because they had already been out 4 times that DAY. I said I was going to dispute it with my credit card and she said it’s too bad because she has my signature from when I signed in and that they would win the dispute. I was told that if my toilet wasn’t working I could have used one of the other hotel bathrooms. I paid for a room with a toilet. I signed a contract that they didn’t fulfill. Please save yourself the effort and never stay here. Comfort inn is two minutes down the road and very comfortable and clean. Go there instead.

Horrible experience. Unattended children left in a room and jumped and ran around until we went and knocked on the door at 2:30 am. Reported to the front desk around 10:30 via the app, with no response. Reported to front desk around 2:30 and could hear them knock upstairs. If you want to sleep, don’t book here! Complained to management this morning was told we would receive a call and have yet to talk to or hear from anyone! Check in was the best, super sweet front desk clerk!

The staff was very unprofessional. My bathroom was nasty and when I tried to inform the staff, I was tread with the upmost disrespect. Mr. Daniel mad a false accusation against me and Ms. Thomesena (who said she was the manager , but was not there), hung up the hotel phone on me when I tried explaining the situation to her. I have pictures and a video that shows how dirty the bathroom was and how I was being treated by Mr. Daniel. I will never stay in any Choice property nor this hotel ever again.

Very quiet while I stayed here in my room. The staff was very nice and friendly. Great spot to stay because of all the options to eat. Walmart is next door so if you need anything there’s a grocery store right there.

Property right near interstate and clean. The breakfast area was nice but wasn't staffed like it should have been. Many things were gone and no one really present to keep it stocked. Like the fact you had bagels but not cream cheese or even butter for the waffles and hardly any syrup...why bother. The room and bathroom was nice and a strong shower which we liked. Right next to to Walmart which was great.

This property is disgusting. The pictures are not an accurate representation of the property. The pool water is so dirty you can’t even see through it, our room smelled like smoke. The carpet is coming up, the carpet is stained, the walls are damaged. Oh and in my breakfast I found a hair in the eggs. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, but the hotel itself could use an overhaul. Would not stay here again or recommend.

First of all, I want to say that the staff are friendly and helpful. I don’t want my review to reflect on them, because it seems that their short-staffed and despite that, they were kind and did the best they could to accommodate their guests. Our family stayed in 2 rooms for 4 nights. The facility is in need of updating and repairs. We couldn’t use the fitness room because the AC was out and it was a balmy 84* with no windows. The carpeting all over the property (rooms and common areas) are in serious need of cleaning, The grounds around the hotel had a good bit of trash. The comforter was torn and missing its stuffing. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices, including eggs, sausage and potatoes, yogurt, and baked goods. I have stayed at this brand of hotel and seen much better quality in their furniture and facilities, so it was a bit disappointing.

It was a decent hotel for the price point. It has an indoor pool and a great location. However, the lady at the check-in table wasn't my favorite. Very frank.. No rapport. The carpet's condition raised some concerns with people in my party. They also ran out of syrup, which made waffles challenging. You get what you pay for.. And given the price point, none of these items are deal killers.. While it wasn't an incredible experience.. I could see us using this hotel again.

I waited in the lobby for over 20 minutes to get checked in @10:30 pm. The breakfast eggs and sausage were in poor condition (looked like previous days food, that was re-heated!) and there was no fruit or "fresh items" available.

Adequate for an overnight stay. Service at check in excellent. Hotel has been upgraded and fairly maintained. Breakfast was ok, not great. Elevator was slow. TV was standard cable but no streaming capability (ie casting or Netflix)

My husband and I were visiting family in the Newnan area for 8 days and this establishment was convenient to their home. I was able to get a reasonable price thru Expedia and all accommodations were as expected. They served a good breakfast with a variety of eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles and cereal and their coffee was outstanding. Parking was very good as I had a handicapped spot right outside the hallway door. Personnel were friendly and eager to help in any way. They have washers and dryers available to visitors. Rooms were confortable and clean.

I arrived late and there was only one front office clerk they were on the phone and I had to wait over 10 minutes to check in. I was then assigned two rooms that I had reserved. Both rooms had a very strong mildew smell. My room was so bad I could not stay in the room and I went down and asked for a different room. The second room was just as bad, but it was so late and I was so tired. I didn’t address it the next morning after breakfast I went up to my room and none of the keys worked. I went back down to the front desk and again I had to wait 10 minutes before I found a receptionist to help reheat my room. The sheets felt damp as well.

It’s a quaint little place. Certainly not bad but in need of upgrades and proper maintenance. Carpeting is old and some of the cosmetic repairs look like they were done by an amateur. The room was fine for the most part. It did have an odd musty aroma that went unnoticed after a few minutes. The door was desperate for some WD-40. My biggest issue was that I had no hot water.
