My wife had to drive 9 hours to reach her destination in Peachtree City, Ga. As a good hubby I booked her a room at this godforsaken hotel so she wouldn’t have to try to locate and book a room while driving. Shame on me. I booked 3 nights around 2:53pm starting that evening. Around 7:30 she informed me she was getting tired of driving and was going to stop 1/2 way up. I reached out to hotels.com and asked if I could simply shorten up the stay from 3 nights to 2 nights because my slow driving wife has decided that she didn’t want to drive till 1:00am to reach peachtree city. Hotels.com tells me “it’s purely up to the hotel and I should call the front desk and ask them.” (Oh yea, hotels.com is 50% responsible for this nonsense as well so I’m boycotting them to, never again will Expedia get my money.). The front desk tells me it’s out of their hands as well. Someone is lying. They both are!!! So hotels.com immediately charges my card even though I selected to pay upon arrival (a lie by hotels.com) simply for chatting with them about shortening up my trip. So yea I was charged for the first night even though my wife couldn’t make it up before 1:00am. Secondly my wife shows up the next morning because we still have reservations for 2 more nights and they tell her “check in is not until 3:00 and they had no rooms available. !!!! How I had a room, they charged me for it and then sold it again! Crooks. Marijuana smells abound. Fire alarms going off all night.
