Garden Inn and Suites near Callaway Gardens Pine Mountain

Not a lot of office hours.

I booked this hotel as somewhere to rest on my way to Callaway Gardens. I got the deluxe room for the in room heart jacuzzi which is essentially a hottub and I loved the jets on my skin. The hotel also has a s separate shower.The heart jacuzzi is by the bed. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean I stayed mainly for the heart hottub. The hotel is located next to Chipley's Fried Chicken which is good and a Family Dollar. The owner is very nice and professional. I recommend staying here if you're going to Calleway Gardens which is a hop'skip and a jump away. Prices of the regular rooms are cheap. The deluxe rooms are higher but still less then $200.

We recently stayed at Garden Inn & Suites in Pine Mountain, GA. Overall, for around $100 a night, I wasn't dissatisfied, but housekeeping definitely needs improvement. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room looked like the advertised photos, and the beds were very comfortable, just as other reviewers mentioned. The carpet appeared fairly new, with no noticeable stains or stickiness. Unfortunately, cleanliness was another story. The microwave had food smeared around the open button, and wiping the countertops left our cloth brown, almost like nicotine residue, despite being a nonsmoking property. The bathroom door around the handle was visibly filthy, the mirrors hadn't been properly cleaned, and the shower curtain had yellowish staining. The pillows had unpleasant drool stains, but the biggest surprise was the headboards behind our two queen beds. Let's just say the visible handprints and impressions of other body parts suggested previous guests had a very exciting evening! Clearly, those headboards hadn't been wiped down! All in all, the room was comfortable, the staff was pleasant, and the price was reasonable. I don't expect luxury for $100 a night, but basic cleanliness should be a given. A serious deep cleaning would make a world of difference. I wouldn't rule out staying again, but housekeeping really needs to step up!

The only good thing to say is the bed was comfortable and the shower water pressure was good. The room was dirty, the refrigerator was on such a slant that you couldn't open the door without tilting it back, the freezer was frozen over, the bathroom was disgusting, and the carpet hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. Although the bed was comfortable, it is obvious everyone sleeps next to the nightstand because it slanted down towards the nightstand. The mattress does need to be rotated. The bed closest to the door emits a metal clanging sound every time you turn over on it. So I was up thinking some kind of truck was in the parking lot all night. Very, very disappointing!

Clean rooms, friendly staff, basic economy hotel, but the bed was comfortable.
