By far one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Every single staff member we encountered was so friendly, welcoming, always smiling, and so helpful. The pool was nice and very clean. Breakfast was great. The grits were amazing! Definitely will be booking here again in the future

The room was great. Having a kitchen in the room made things a lot easier during our stay. The only negative things I have to say is getting into the hotel parking lot is a bit of a hassle due to some construction. The AC didn’t cool the room off like I would’ve wanted. It was comfortable but not super cool. And we were in a room right by the pool so it was a bit annoying at times. But other than that we loved the hotel and our stay. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was pretty decent.

The breakfast was not appealing. The walls in between the rooms were very thin; I could hear the person next door as if he were in my room. There should be a least 1-2 bottles of complimentary water in each room. There should be at least one EV charging station at the property.

The employees were the best part of our stay because of how friendly they were. Tamika is amazing and was the highlight of breakfast during weekdays. Besides that, I will not be coming back to this location for several reason. The pool was closed for half of our stay, due to broken pump. Only two Washing machines were working for laundry. We had to try several times to wash our clothes, family member had to wait 40 minutes "in line" to use the washer. 8$ later we had 1 load washed and dried. Water leaking through the smoke alarm in gym room, was fixed by removing alarm system itselt. Options for board games were given to all customers staying at hotel. Yet we called everyday and the games were never available. When pool was open, on day 4 of our 7day stay; it was over crowded by families barbecuing. The pool was in the front of parking lot by main street/road. Our room was never serviced/cleaned during our stay either which was disappointing, we requested many items ourselves from the front desk (towels, floor mats, sponges, trash bags...) the trash we left by the front door would stay for 24+hours. We did have the "no knocking" sign up saturday and sunday but only on those two days. The room near us had a dog that would be left all day to bark everytime it heard noise. We spoke directly to the owner who informed us "he was a noisy puppy and she couldn't do much about it". She was friendly and the dog was cute but the barking was constant. We were really disappointed upon check in that our drawers were broken and unusable. Sara sent maintenance to fix it, so we appreciate that. Neither of the phones worked to call the front desk, which wouldn’t normally be a big deal, but we were in a separate building on the opposite end of the hotel complex. Our ice machine didn’t work, but we were able to get ice at the office, also an inconvenience due to the location of our room. Pool was out of order during our stay and a lot of roudy kids playing in the hall during our stay, to include knocking on our door: There was a baseball team staying and they left food and messes in the hall, parking lot and grill area. (hard for the hotel to control.) Bed was not very comfortable, but I did like the pillows. Dishes left in the dishwasher from previous guests. Breakfast was really good, Tamika was fabulous and gave us a lot of good ideas for places to check out. Hotel was not located in Midtown. Not a terrible drive to most places we went to, but having lived in Savannah, I would definitely not call this Midtown.

$100 additional fee for less than 24 hour small (12#) pet stay. Did not see this charge on the Expedia site when booking. Our room was across the hall from the laundry machines which I could hear running throughout the night. No door on the laundry room or it stayed open all night. On the other side of our room was the pool so we couldn't open the drapes. Literally, if I opened the window I could jump in the pool! Since it's a non-smoking hotel, there were several people outside of the hotel smoking, one laying in the bed of his truck smoking 😣 Hotel was clean and complimentary breakfast had many options. Staff were friendly.

GPS does not exactly get you to the correct spot making for a frustrating arrival. The parking lot is extremely hard to park in the spots are very narrow. At the end the work day larger company vehicles park and you can’t open your doors all the way to unloaded your items from your vehicle. We were unable to unload our small cooler because of the parking space issues . All staff are helpful and kind . I let them know they need to fix the carts you take the luggage in on . If this issue is not fixed it is something to take note of if you need them because of lifting restrictions or mobility issues.

Ok, 1) the hotel is nice to be a dog friendly place. They kept the grounds nice. However, since it's a dog friendly place it should have move outside trash receptors/cans so you can dispose of your dogs business properly. Only one around the corner going towards the back of the site. NO. 2) the continental breakfast the area where it's held is TO SMALL. it looks a dorm room the only place left to create this space. NO. They need to reconsider placement. 3) the staff 2ladies in-charge of the breakfast area are NOT NICE. they do not greet the guest. they don't ask if you need anything. Finally THEY NEVER SMILE TO THE PEOPLE WHO AER PAYING TO STAY THERE. My observation they should be resigned to another area away from customer contact. thank you

Family of 4. Kitchen was on point if you like to cook. Most everything you need. Oven, stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, toaster and coffee pot. Size of room was perfect. 2 bedrooms and a living room with fold out couch, very uncomfortable my children said. Bedrooms nice television,plenty of storage and space. Clean beds but comfort could have been better. AC was perfect if you like an igloo, i do so it got cold. Great for this 99' weather in Georgia. The kids and husband loved the pool and the kids got a last minute swim before summer ends. Breakfast was normal hotel fare the kids were excited to see nutella on the condiment bar. Hot coffee and cocoa, tea, grits, eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, fruits, cereal, toast, oatmeal, muffins and different toppings and milks and juices. The staff was most pleasant and accommodating and everyone greated you with a hello. We woukd stay again. Its was quiet and close to anything we needed.

The layout was okay but the furniture was in bad need of replacement. Heavy stains and looked dirty. The floors had toenails on it. The bathroom had chunks of hair and floor was very sticky.

The room was small & dark, There were several different light sources, but all had low wattage bulbs. The carpet could use a cleaning. I walked around in pink socks before going to bed. When I took them off, the bottoms were dirty. The bed linens were very clean and the bed comfortable. The room was very quiet even though we were right next to the pool. The check in/check out staff were welcoming, efficient and helpful, with a smile! Breakfast was disappointing - the large mound of scrambled eggs were floating in a sea of yellow liquid! The pork sausage were actually small, thin slices of ham (Canadian bacon, maybe?).

Checked in. Sketchy people hanging around. Room 225 had roaches. Room 231 had mold around the vents, around the bathtub, couldnt use the bath for my babies because the plug wouldnt fit, fridge was dirty, pullout sofa was hard with the springs.

Breakfast at this hotel is ok - you do have choices (waffles, boiled eggs, sausages, egg whites, bagels, English muffins, toast bread 🍞, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals.... etc). Dinner wise we recommend to explore the area. There are lots of great places to eat. The Olde Pink House is a must (historical place), the other places please read the reviews... Sheets were soft. All the plugs and USB access is great. Breakfast, although the room is small and hard to navigate, was good. There's only 1 trashcan in a 2 bedroom suite. Only one mirror for 4 people. 3 chairs at the table is difficult when theres 4 people. All the windows were left unlocked. Living room Furniture was worned. Elevator button on 1st floor was broken and would fall Staff were friendly and helpful.off.Having dishes and utensils is great, but no pans for oven. Enjoyed the pretty landscaping. Inadequate handicapped parking. One vehicle parked illegaliy in blue lines. We did have children above us running and jumping for about an hr at a time twice yesterday, so they need a first floor room or over a non guest room. Other than that, a very quiet stay.
Sheets were soft. All the plugs and USB access is great. Breakfast, although the room is small and hard to navigate, was good. There's only 1 trashcan in a 2 bedroom suite. Only one mirror for 4 people. 3 chairs at the table is difficult when theres 4 people. All the windows were left unlocked. Living room Furniture was worned. Elevator button on 1st floor was broken and would fall Staff were friendly and helpful.off.Having dishes and utensils is great, but no pans for oven. Enjoyed the pretty landscaping. Staff was amazing from the checkin to breakfast to the housekeeping and operational staff. Breakfast was good every morning. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was like a small apartment.

It was just a quick overnight stay on the way back home from vacation. It was five of us so the two beds & pullout were just what we needed. The beds were comfortable, the front end staff was amazing and the room was very clean.

Hotel staff were very friendly. Hotel was clean. Loved location of property and short drive to access to River Street and Tybee Island. My daughter who traveled with us could not access the internet even with the help desk during our entire stay which put her 4 days behind in her on line schooling.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I love that the suites were large and a kitchenette with separate sitting areas. It was very quiet, doing our stay and the hotel had plenty of restaurants nearby. Only thing that I would have liked was the bedding to be changed during our stay. We would stay here again.

Family of 4. Kitchen was on point if you like to cook. Most everything you need. Oven, stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, toaster and coffee pot. Size of room was perfect. 2 bedrooms and a living room with fold out couch, very uncomfortable my children said. Bedrooms nice television,plenty of storage and space. Clean beds but comfort could have been better. AC was perfect if you like an igloo, i do so it got cold. Great for this 99' weather in Georgia. The kids and husband loved the pool and the kids got a last minute swim before summer ends. Breakfast was normal hotel fare the kids were excited to see nutella on the condiment bar. Hot coffee and cocoa, tea, grits, eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, fruits, cereal, toast, oatmeal, muffins and different toppings and milks and juices. The staff was most pleasant and accommodating and everyone greated you with a hello. We woukd stay again. Its was quiet and close to anything we needed.

The staff at this property makes you feel like you've been welcomed into a dear friend's family reunion. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and kind! The property itself is exactly what you'd expect from a Marriott brand: clean rooms, comfortable beds, decent breakfast. All of that is good. It's the staff that makes this property outstanding, though. Angela has assembled a truly phenomenal grotto of people. That's probably because she herself is a ray of sunshine. Sara at the front desk went out of her way to accommodate me. Jeneen gave me a handmade pen. (She actually makes pens at home to give as gifts. If I hadn't experienced it firsthand, I'm not sure I would believe it.) Doris and Toree are also amazing. I can't recommend this property highly enough!

The property itself was great.. but, what made the stay 5 star was every single employee we encountered! They ALL were super friendly and above and beyond in the service department.. it felt like we were staying at a Disney property (their customer service is next level).

When arrived had to wait about 8 minutes for assistance at desk. But she was friendly and helpful. However, the card key for my room did not work. Returned for replacement card. Also did not work. Returned again and the front desk lady had to use her master key to let me in. I asked what should I do if want to leave my room - her reaponse "come find me". So, I basically became a prisoner of my own room until ready to checkout the next day. I would like a full refund!

My husband & I have been dealing with ongoing construction in our home. Towne Place has been SO accommodating & understanding with every (it's been too many) 'extending our stay' request. We have never felt like a burden but more like they empathize with our situation & truly care about making us comfortable!! My husband & I both visit the front desk from time to time for our 'extended key update' - they remember our name/faces/jobs & truthfully that makes this place a step above the rest!!! MOST IMPORTANTLY- when it says 'free continental breakfast' with your stay--- YES YES YES!! BEST BREAKFAST EVER!!! Eggs, sausage, grits, bagels, cereal, breads, yogurt, milk, juices, toppings & toppings & sauces. 10/10 in our book!!

The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone was extremely warm and welcoming from the first step in until we left. The room was clean. We had everything we needed to be comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic as well. Fresh made food and great additional options for our children.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic! We have yet to meet a staff member that wasn't friendly, helpful, compassionate & able to make us smile daily!! They truly care about the guests & even take the time to get to know a little (or a lot - for the extended stays) bit about them. It's the 'small things' that have actually made a stressful time for my husband & I into a great time!! p.s. My husband said "don't forget the epic breakfast every morning"!! 10/10

We were really disappointed upon check in that our drawers were broken and unusable. Sara sent maintenance to fix it, so we appreciate that. Neither of the phones worked to call the front desk, which wouldn’t normally be a big deal, but we were in a separate building on the opposite end of the hotel complex. Our ice machine didn’t work, but we were able to get ice at the office, also an inconvenience due to the location of our room. Pool was out of order during our stay and a lot of roudy kids playing in the hall during our stay, to include knocking on our door: There was a baseball team staying and they left food and messes in the hall, parking lot and grill area. (hard for the hotel to control.) Bed was not very comfortable, but I did like the pillows. Dishes left in the dishwasher from previous guests. Breakfast was really good, Tamika was fabulous and gave us a lot of good ideas for places to check out. Hotel was not located in Midtown. Not a terrible drive to most places we went to, but having lived in Savannah, I would definitely not call this Midtown.

GPS does not exactly get you to the correct spot making for a frustrating arrival. The parking lot is extremely hard to park in the spots are very narrow. At the end the work day larger company vehicles park and you can’t open your doors all the way to unloaded your items from your vehicle. We were unable to unload our small cooler because of the parking space issues . All staff are helpful and kind . I let them know they need to fix the carts you take the luggage in on . If this issue is not fixed it is something to take note of if you need them because of lifting restrictions or mobility issues.

By far one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Every single staff member we encountered was so friendly, welcoming, always smiling, and so helpful. The pool was nice and very clean. Breakfast was great. The grits were amazing! Definitely will be booking here again in the future

The major and only deficiency is the breakfast room. It is very small. The only way to get a table is wait until the rush is over. If you can, plan to go to a breakfast restaurant.

The breakfast was not appealing. The walls in between the rooms were very thin; I could hear the person next door as if he were in my room. There should be a least 1-2 bottles of complimentary water in each room. There should be at least one EV charging station at the property.

The room was small & dark, There were several different light sources, but all had low wattage bulbs. The carpet could use a cleaning. I walked around in pink socks before going to bed. When I took them off, the bottoms were dirty. The bed linens were very clean and the bed comfortable. The room was very quiet even though we were right next to the pool. The check in/check out staff were welcoming, efficient and helpful, with a smile! Breakfast was disappointing - the large mound of scrambled eggs were floating in a sea of yellow liquid! The pork sausage were actually small, thin slices of ham (Canadian bacon, maybe?).

I will say we were definitely pleased with the size of our queen one bedroom suite. However, and I realize this is out of the hotels control, the power went out almost immediately when we got to our room. After a couple of hours, we went to the front desk and I asked if they had any updates which they did not. I asked her what we would do once it got dark and we wouldn't be able to see and she said they would provide flashlights. I think what was surprising was there were two full buildings and we had three different family members who booked. There was no butter no bowls for the oatmeal. The coffee, (one small carafe) rapidly ran out as did the half-and-half. When you are supplying two large buildings worth of hotel rooms, you probably could use more than one small carafe. The second day, there was still no butter for toast or bagels, and they were out of plates so you had to put your food in the small style of Home bowls same situation with coffee.-in addition there is barely any seating in the breakfast area maybe three tables for four and a couple of barstools so you might wanna plan on bringing your breakfast to your room . There was just an overall Laissez faire attitude from the breakfast staff about refilling anything or trying to meet guests needs. Could be so much better!
I will say we were definitely pleased with the size of our queen one bedroom suite. However, and I realize this is out of the hotels control, the power went out almost immediately when we got to our room. After a couple of hours, we went to the front desk and I asked if they had any updates which they did not. I asked her what we would do once it got dark and we wouldn't be able to see and she said they would provide flashlights. I think what was surprising was there were two full buildings and we had three different family members who booked.
