Property needs a deep cleaning. Beds were clean and comfortable. Staff provided an extra blanket. The bottom of the pool is in disrepair and needs attention(be careful). Breakfast was good.

We chose this hotel because it had an 8.2 rating. They lied. The room was less than clean. greasy hand prints on headboards, toilet wouldn't flush, fridge was luke warm, mattress were old and could feel the springs. We went to the gym. There were 3 pieces of equipment and the treadmill was broken. We went to the pool. Someone threw chicken nuggets and chips all over the deck area. The pool itself had potholes on the bottom in need of repair. Lastly, when we went to breakfast, everything was gone but 3 little donuts or we could make a waffle. We stayed 2 nights, Our room wasn't cleaned after the first night. We had to go find someone to get clean towels. The picture of the suite shows 2 TVs. Nope ! Only one on a swivel that you can't see when sitting on the couch and chair area.

The elevator certificate was expired. I tried to go down the stairs and the stair door was locked. The breakfast was not well stocked, at times they were out of eggs and whatever meat they had that day. They were extra serious about the times for the breakfast, if you are down there 30 seconds late, you cannot have water. The rooms were old, old, old. The bathroom door had a notch cut out on the bottom half below the latch. We were on the 3rd floor and the only ice machine in the place was on the first floor. The people who worked there for the most part were not friendly, aside from one gentleman who was there on Thursday evening. I think one night when we came in a little late, the girl was outside smoking pot until she saw that I was waiting at the desk. Lots of times, the elevator reeked of skunks pot smell. I did not enjoy my stay and I did not think that the poor conditions were relative to the pricing.

I was given a suite which was huge but the dead bolt on the door did not work. Instead the door had two manual latches. The room itself looked pretty run down but the bed was comfortable. The elevator did not work which posed a problem for me since I was 4 weeks post-op from hip replacement surgery. I can't comment on the breakfast since I did not partake.

The elevator was broke. The rooms stank and felt dirty. The A/C rattled and didn’t feel like it was cooling. We checked out in less than 30 minutes and booked another hotel. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly.

This property was horrible. My room was 206. The room had to be changed because it smelled like mold . It’s tanked so bad. I was moved to 311. It smelled better but had roaches. I seen the attendant put the bread and donuts in container no gloves and he told me that roaches sometimes be in the room. I told him that I had never stayed in a hotel with roaches. I also was told that management don’t care and know that the attendant is very nasty . Horrible stay for the price. I payed 268 for 2 days. I checked out asap.they wouldn’t give me credit or nothing for that first night. I will never go back to any of the comfort inns . Horrible Horrible horrible..management don’t care. Breakfast was horrible. Runny eggs. Just horrible for 134 a night. And I’m a member of choice.

We enjoyed our stay! The room was very clean and smelled clean! The bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean! We stayed in a suit and it was very spacious! They do need some upgraded furniture as one of the chairs had a broken leg and couldn't be sat in but as far as everything else it was great!!! The location is very nice and quiet as well!

The hotel has black mold! It was in the wall, under the AC units, on the bathroom blow dryer. They don’t treat it they clorox it and paint over it. They wouldn’t refund my money but they put me in a “cleaner” room where mold was on the curtains. The best thing about the hotel was the young man working trying his best to make me happy although the owner wouldn’t refund my money!

I found a bed bug in my bed. They moved me to another room but tried to downplay how bad it is to find a bed bug and I couldn't sleep well that night, worried about it happening again. I was busy with a work event the next morning and was unable to request a transfer of hotels until the afternoon. I was told that they could not refund me the upcoming night because I hadn't checked out that morning but I was unable to check out that morning due to my work conflicts and the work necessary to cancel, check out, and find another hotel. Breakfast was fine, common areas and room furniture were grungy, i didn't want to use them.

We were only to stay for one night but ended up being awakened at 2am to my husband being bitten by a bed bug which we captured and took to the front desk. They had no rooms available & said they could not provide a refund. We ended up leaving after an exhausting day and getting on the road to home at 2:30am. Extremely upsetting and I'd like a refund.

Bed were great. Staff were as described in reviews. Beds were really comfortable. Pool was amazing and clean. Place was overall very nice and clean. Very pleased with the way our stay went. Not one problem. Breakfast was as any breakfast at a hotel. Was good and normal. Coffee was superb.

The location is convenient for food and shopping near by. It’s 15 min from Forsythe fountain. From the outside the building looks nice. Inside, it’s old, not very clean. We had a two beds, with couch room. Smelled of pee, old moist carpet. Glad we only needed it for one night.

Great place to stay. Very spacious room. Very comfortable beds. Desk, couch, and sitting chair in room as well. All rooms overlook into inside lobby, so if you are on the third floor you can see whether breakfast is ready to be served. Eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, muffins, etc for breakfast. Feels safe in and around area.

I stay here every time I visit Savannah. It's always nice and comfortable. The building and the rooms, however! Needs a renovation. They also need new sheets, pillows, and bedspreads, but overall it's a nice stay.

The guy that checked us in was great! He was fast and efficient. He was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the extra space in our suite. It was great for my daughter to get ready for her competition. The breakfast was great to grab and go bc we had to leave so early each morning. However, we had 4 guests and that's what my booking said. However, we only had 3 towels and wash clothes and went to get extra. He seemed to not want to give us what we needed. Otherwise, they could use some updates as far as the carpet and bathroom but it was clean and had everything we needed.

When arriving to check in we were told they overbooked and they didn’t have a room for us. Someone “forgot” to call us ahead of time so with no help from the manager at 8pm with a sleepy child in tow had to find another hotel with vacancy’s. I have never had this happen before and still frustrated by the event and Managers attitude and rudeness.
When arriving to check in we were told they overbooked and they didn’t have a room for us. Someone “forgot” to call us ahead of time so with no help from the manager at 8pm with a sleepy child in tow had to find another hotel with vacancy’s. I have never had this happen before and still frustrated by the event and Managers attitude and rudeness.

Overall the stay is good. The staff however is a bit off. One morning all I wanted was towels to be changed out so I handed the cleaning man, which is the cook and receptionist as well, my towels said he would drop off the towels later. Weird...why would he come to my room to clean without any towels? When we returned no towels. I went down to the receptionist he shows up and stated he left the towels. Started arguing with me stating he left them...I think cause his accent was really heavy. After about 3 minutes he finally gave me the towels. Just odd that he would come to my room in morning without any towels...

Called him at 8:30 9 o’clock to let them know that we were so many hours out and it would be about 2:33 in the morning before we get there to confirm everything and he said everything was fine to come on. I get down there at three in the morning or 240 something Just to find out that my reservation had been canceled and that I had to pay for the night that I reserved and then check out at 11 o’clock and then moved to another room the next day so I left that hotel and went to another one

I am always happy to stay at Comfort Inn in Savannah. It is like going home. The highlight this time was the wonderful gentleman in reception on Sunday. He was a delight and great at his job. Thank you. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the historic district. I will stay here again.

Pros: Convenient drive to downtown Savannah and to Tybee. Hotel was generally clean even though it was definitely an older building that could use some updates. Cons: Owner called early the morning of our booking to charge our card and threatened to cancel our room if we didn’t, even though the website says that we pay on property upon arrival. Learned that some people traveled only to find their rooms given away. Also was berated by staff member for two drops of waffle batter falling on the counter at the breakfast bar, but their machine slowly filled the cup then a huge blob came out, overfilling my cup. So it was actually their fault. All in all was a decent stay for a quick getaway with my kids. Andrew at the front desk was great.

Room away from elevator, vending machine and laundry area as requested was granted. The 2 front desk staff that I encountered were both superb. Hotel was near everything that you needed while in town, a short drive to all of the attractions and in a safe neighborhood.

It is an old facility and was as clean as it could be. The carpet felt damp though so I kept my shoes on. The staff was polite. My husband enjoyed the breakfast! It is located in a convenient location close to the hospital and doctors offices. It’s also close to shopping areas and downtown Savannah.

The breakfast was so poor that I overheard a fellow guest refer to it as disgusting. The one hot dish was mere scraps at 7:45 am and was never refilled again. You were limited to basically just waffles.

The breakfast runs from 6am-9am on weekends. That's pretty early to be up and about when you are on vacation. Most hotels don't stop that early on weekends. The hotel is dark inside in the halls. They need more lighting.

I enjoyed the property. The comforter had blood on it and the bathroom was not the cleanest. My family cleaned the bathroom and the refrigerator out. But the room was really spacious and quiet place to stay. Not far from Tybee or the river walk.

I have been going to this hotel for twelve years starting out when it was the Olglethorpe. I love the space all of the room provide and they use to have a pullout couch in every room. The building is old and its seen better days. Half of the electrical outlets in my room didn't work. I guess I've gone to this hotel the couple years based on nostalgia. I think I'm done now, but I have a lot of good memories at the Olglethorpe.
