Came across this hotel by accident and immediately knew we had to book it. We were not disappointed. It was seamless checkin. With plenty of emails before Hand so we knew exactly what we needed to do. We then ordered breakfast for the following morning as per the sheet. Which both days was lovely and fresh. Absolutely loved the little decking area. Sat out in the sunshine and was perfect. Being able to access the kitchen for wine glasses and spare coffee machine pods was great. The fan was definitely needed and worked brilliantly as the room got very hot in the heat. Bed was very firm but comfortable. Only gripe was my pillow kept falling down the back in the night. But by the second night I mastered this and it wasn’t an issue. Bath was lovely. Large and deep. Would 100% stay again and recommend

The hotel itself was easy to find, with a car park 5 minutes away. The location of the hotel is perfect, as it’s right in the center of town, so everything is only a short walk away. The room was lovely and clean, with a nice touch of a chocolate each on our bed. Everything was as it was described and breakfast was was lovely and surprisingly filling. The only things that could be improved on, is the noise. Our room was near to the town itself and the windows of the building are old. Which meant it was quite noisy at night and I did wake up both mornings at 5:30am by the seagulls. So, maybe it might be worth the owners investing in some new windows? Also, the shower temperature could be quite intermittent. But I’m not sure if that was because a few people were using the hot water at the same time or because it’s an old building? Apart from that, it was a lovely stay and even though the noise was a bit inconvenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Room lovely, well decorated includes a coffee-machine . Large bathroom with a walk in shower. Breakfast hamper a nice touch (extra toast and teas and coffee in kitchen downstairs) Staff very nice and friendly. found free parking about 200 metres away ( February. Not sure how easy that would be in the summer? But car park close by)

Lovely old property, close to shops and beach. Clean and comfortable with a filling breakfast brought to your room each morning. Everything you you need for a perfect stay in Lyme. Parking is not on site, so busy carparks could be an issue. You can unload out the property though. Easy booking and check in with great communication.

We had an amazing stay as a family of 4 (6 year old and 3 year old). The hotel was in a great central location but still quiet in the evening. The room was clean and in great condition. The breakfast hamper provided each morning was wonderful and it was helpful having access to the shared kitchen. It was easy to park in the near by NCP car park (discounted price if you download the app) which was only a 3 minute walk away. There was an amazing coffee shop nearby (amid giants and idols) and in town and on the seafront we enjoyed eating out at Poco Pizza. Both sides of the beach were a short walk away for fossil hunting and there was a lovely walk down via the mini golf course. The down was quaint and well maintained but we definitely felt like we were staying at the best place!

Wonderful unique hotel. Lovely staff, bedroom and bathroom with a bath which is wonderful to me! I have stayed before and reviewed before; I love it. I brought my husband this time and he loved it too. Parking not available at hotel itself but NCP car park half way up Broad Street a few minutes down the hill from the hotel. Easy to walk down to the beach and a few moments walk to Langmoor Gardens.

There was some confusion over which room we had booked on arrival, which was sorted quickly with the owners, but was not a great start. Room service was at best chaotic, but otherwise the room was clean, breakfast was fine and the bed was comfortable.

Not really a hotel. Essentially it's very nice bedrooms in a Georgian house. Self check in. Breakfast (croissant, Muesli, orange juice and some fruit) ordered the evening before by txt and delivered to outside your room next morning in a hamper. Make your own tea or coffee in room. Surprised to be advised just before arrival that "due to the current situation" your room would not be cleaned during stay (but you could ask for it). Need to move on post Covid.

Had an enjoyable stay at this lovely Georgian property with fashionable decor. Very clean and fragrant. Comfortable and quiet. Really enjoyed the breakfast in a hamper and the privacy.

The Lyme 1 was the perfect hotel for me: The suite was great; spacious, well furnished and decorated and clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The bed and bedding was unbelievably comfortable. And the hotel was very quiet and serene. The people that run it were friendly, helpful and very flexible - I was able to delay my checkout which was a huge help. I stayed here on a round the world trip and the Lyme 1 was the best hotel by a distance.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Lyme Regis, great room and view of the sea, lovely little breakfast table to sit at by the window, bed huge and so comfortable, great shower, communication excellent before we arrived. Breakfast delivered to your door in a hamper, fresh and warm croissant/pastry, yoghurt, fruit, muesli and a help yourself to toast option -all delicious

Great two night stay, with a good continental breakfast delivered to our room. Lovely tastefully furnished room, comfortable bed and hot powerful shower. Very good location close to shops, restaurants and beach. Would stay here again.

Wonderful small hotel within an easy walk to stores and restaurants. The room was comfortable, and there was hot water galore to fill the huge bathtub. Communication was easy. Breakfast hamper was prompt every day, with a warm pastry, fresh fruit, milk, yogurt, and cereal. I spent a full week here and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Even found ammonites in Charmouth!

The room was beautifully decorated however the headboard of the bed was incredibly uncomfortable to lean against - 2 metal poles running behind you, definitely style over comfort. The roll top bath looked lovely, however it meant that when having a shower you had to use a shower curtain each side of you so had to stand side on to prevent them sticking to you! I would also suggest that the rooms should have a quick visit each day to top up crockery, coffee etc and wipe over the table and hoover the floors as you are eating breakfast in there. This should be automatic rather than having to ask for it to be done as we ended up rinsing out coffee cups in the sink to reuse for breakfast the next day. Having said that, the cleaner was lovely and friendly and very welcoming.

We had a really good stay at Lyme 1, the location was spot on and close to all amenities and the beach. We stayed in the Cobb Suite which was amazing the continental breakfast is a nice touch as well. The only negative is that the Cobb Suite is on the ground floor and next to the communal kitchen and you get a lot of noise of people chatting in the corridor and in the kitchen. This was not too much of an issue for us as we were awake early.
We had a really good stay at Lyme 1, the location was spot on and close to all amenities and the beach. We stayed in the Cobb Suite which was amazing the continental breakfast is a nice touch as well. The Lyme 1 was the perfect hotel for me: The suite was great; spacious, well furnished and decorated and clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The bed and bedding was unbelievably comfortable. And the hotel was very quiet and serene. The people that run it were friendly, helpful and very flexible - I was able to delay my checkout which was a huge help. I stayed here on a round the world trip and the Lyme 1 was the best hotel by a distance.

I found I did not like thinking I was on my own in the property. It was a great location, the room was fine. But, for me, the lack of a reception and walking through a kitchen to my room made a difference. I also did not know I was supposed to email my breakfast preferences. I wish the fact that the property was mostly unstaffed had been very obvious on Expedia.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Lyme Regis, great room and view of the sea, lovely little breakfast table to sit at by the window, bed huge and so comfortable, great shower, communication excellent before we arrived. Parking is not on site, so busy carparks could be an issue. You can unload out the property though. Easy booking and check in with great communication.

Was a nice stay. Very inpersonal as it was a key box situation, no staff on site which was fine and expected. Breakfast hamper wss fine, wasnt to get excited about but the system worked well. It was yoghurt, pastry (warmed/cooked fresh) some fruit and muesli. Was nice eating the comfort of your room but it wasnt blowing anyone away. Rooms were comfortable just noisy. You could here your neighbours and other guests, chatting, having 7am showers and making coffee with the noisiest nespresso machines ever. The hotel did what we needed it to, it was nice enough but probably wouldn't rush back unless the price was right.

Breakfast (croissant, Muesli, orange juice and some fruit) ordered the evening before by txt and delivered to outside your room next morning in a hamper. Make your own tea or coffee in room. Surprised to be advised just before arrival that "due to the current situation" your room would not be cleaned during stay (but you could ask for it). Need to move on post Covid.

Wonderful unique hotel. Lovely staff, bedroom and bathroom with a bath which is wonderful to me! I have stayed before and reviewed before; I love it. I brought my husband this time and he loved it too. Parking not available at hotel itself but NCP car park half way up Broad Street a few minutes down the hill from the hotel. Easy to walk down to the beach and a few moments walk to Langmoor Gardens.

Ideally placed for the beach and all the local bars and restaurants. Room was very tastefully decorated and the check in process was very easy. Lovely continental breakfast provided daily.

The hotel itself was easy to find, with a car park 5 minutes away. The location of the hotel is perfect, as it’s right in the center of town, so everything is only a short walk away. The room was lovely and clean, with a nice touch of a chocolate each on our bed. Everything was as it was described and breakfast was was lovely and surprisingly filling. The only things that could be improved on, is the noise. Our room was near to the town itself and the windows of the building are old. Which meant it was quite noisy at night and I did wake up both mornings at 5:30am by the seagulls. So, maybe it might be worth the owners investing in some new windows? Also, the shower temperature could be quite intermittent. But I’m not sure if that was because a few people were using the hot water at the same time or because it’s an old building? Apart from that, it was a lovely stay and even though the noise was a bit inconvenient. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is situated in an ideal location, just outside the hustle and bustle of the town but convenient to attractions and dining. It's a significant uphill climb from the beach though. We enjoyed the Continental breakfast that was delivered to us each morning. We would stay here again.

We had an amazing stay as a family of 4 (6 year old and 3 year old). The hotel was in a great central location but still quiet in the evening. The room was clean and in great condition. The breakfast hamper provided each morning was wonderful and it was helpful having access to the shared kitchen. It was easy to park in the near by NCP car park (discounted price if you download the app) which was only a 3 minute walk away. There was an amazing coffee shop nearby (amid giants and idols) and in town and on the seafront we enjoyed eating out at Poco Pizza. Both sides of the beach were a short walk away for fossil hunting and there was a lovely walk down via the mini golf course. The down was quaint and well maintained but we definitely felt like we were staying at the best place!

Room lovely, well decorated includes a coffee-machine . Large bathroom with a walk in shower. Breakfast hamper a nice touch (extra toast and teas and coffee in kitchen downstairs) Staff very nice and friendly. found free parking about 200 metres away ( February. Not sure how easy that would be in the summer? But car park close by)

We really liked our stay, good location. We stayed in the Cobb suite, super comfortable, good sofa, tv, bed. Breakfast in a hamper was perfect, fresh hot croissants. My only complaint was the WiFi, kept going in and out.if your thinking about Lyme Regis I would definitely recommend.

Our stay for 1 night was fine. Not having its own carpark is deffinitely a challenge. 24 hr parking NCP £16. And the hill is very steep to haul baggage up even 20-30 yds. The furniture is quite quirky and some of it a bit tatty. Roof garden pleasant. Breakfast in a hamper a novelty but as a croissant included the marmalade should be in the hamper not the kitchen.
