Soggiorno di 4 notti

I stay here at least four days a year. It's convenient. The Ocean view is beautiful. It is getting a little worn. Housekeeping did not clean our room for three days. I had to call them. Not sure if it was poor communication with the housekeepers about room schedules. One housekeeper told me she cleans every room every day. The front desk says every other. Again, they just forgot about us. The gym is very minimal, very minimal. Okay, if you only want to use a treadmill. Two mats, and they were both old and dirty. Food is okay. Why do I stay here? Because all in all, it's right in Kona Village. Easy access to a beach. Kona Boys rentals right there. Cute pool atmosphere. And the people who have been there for a while are great.

Soggiorno di 3 notti

We booked for a 3 night stay in September. Check in was seamless. Because we are Bonvoy members we were also offered a $20 spa discount (we didn’t use) and 2 free Ululani shave ice (delicious) which is right on property. Extra fees to pay at the hotel are parking ($40 daily) and a $22 resort fee, which included 4 hours of chair & umbrella access on the adjacent beach and snorkeling equipment, WiFi, gym, beach towels and 2 free Mai Tais at the pool bar. The hotel also has a great coffee shop with a good breakfast sandwich & coffee deal ($13). The area is very walkable with lots of restaurants, bars, and tour group options. Having an ABC store on site was convenient. The downsides- our oceanfront room was on floor 2 with a view of the roof. Higher up would have been nicer and the hotel was definitely not at capacity. Our shower was broken. No hot water. Maintenance was responsive. However after the next shower it leaked nonstop for 2 more days. There was a cockroach in the bathroom. Expected for a single level bungalow in Hawaii but not a multi level hotel. The hotel went through a technology change during our trip. So much confusion about charges. The pool bar said they couldn’t charge to the room after we had already signed the bill. We were sent 4 folio emails that said we owed almost $800 in room charges even paying through Hotels.com. Getting a call back was impossible so I spent vacation time on hold, with a runaround and no concrete answers. We’ll be watching our CC.
