The shower head was actually very good--even my husband commented on it. The pillows were so comfortable I looked at the tag to see if I could buy them. We brought our two dogs. There is a nice area outside to walk the dogs. I would stay here again. It all felt so easy. And very nice front desk staff.

The hotel was nice with a good breakfast and a large room. I tried the the bathtub, but it was not easy to get out of the bathtub. I tried the pool. It was nice, but the water was cold. Also, there was no reason to put me on the second floor.

Facility was nice and clean. Nice breakfast selection. Friendly staff. When we arrives our room was on the second floor, we had our young granddaughter with us and ample baggage. The facility doesn’t have an elevator so they asked if we would like a ground floor and made the change for us. So much appreciated.

It seems like they might be trying to update the property, but it needs work. There was a very strong sewer gas smell in the hallways that lingered into our room. The pool room has such a musty/moldy smell to it that i could not stand to even be in there, it was horrible!

Since it is winter and there was a indoor pool which when entering the pool area it was very warm in there so ones thought is the water would be warm but it wasn't so couldn't swim. Also our room door didn't close all the way you had to push or pull on to get it to close and lock.but overall it was good. The people who stayed in the room above us were very loud and they stomped on the floor all night.

Overall not great. We had ants in our room. They did come in and barely sprayed for the ants. No offer to put us in a different room. When checking out I spoke to the same person that sprayed the ants. Told him they were back and should check into professional treatment for ants. No offer to take dollars off the room charge. FYI we did not have any food or drinks (other than bottled water) in the room.

Everything was good except there was no tv. I had called earlier in the day to make sure that the pool was operational and that breakfast was hot, that would have been a good time for front desk to inform me that the cable was out. I'm traveling with 3 kids and cable is important! Tv signal did not work at all.

Everything was fine, including the price. Only minor issue was the two fellows at the desk—in the evening when I checked in and in the morning. They both seemed to be having a bad day. Or maybe just hated their jobs. Idk. But not very pleasant. I’d still stay here if in the area again.

I needed an early check in and late checkout…they were very accommodating. I was stranded and had to wait for my son to come from Montana to tow my car. I had my dog with me. It is a pet friendly motel. Hot breakfast was good.

i am in town for several months on business. The hotel hired a third party to come through and clean the carpets. While I was gone at work one day, the crew came through to clean the carpets. When I returned from work all the groceries I had purchased for the week were gone. Roughly $50 worth of food was taken from my room. The staff told me they couldn't do anything about it. I had my supervisor switch my hotel. After 3 weeks in this hotel, and 7-8 more on this trip, the Quality Inn wont be getting anymore of our money.

The room was very clean and the location great. Right by Perkins and other restaurants. Nothing fancy, but I didn't want to pay for fancy. I felt safe as a woman traveling alone. The check in clerk Devon was the nicest and friendliest guy. I've stayed in many hotels of this caliber taking may daughter back and forth to the hospital in Iowa City and I will return to this one next time. Devon made a huge difference!

FRONT DESK PERSON WAS VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY WE CHECKED IN LATE MIDNIGHT AND NOT PROBLEMS WITH OUR ROOM WHICH WAS GREAT SINCE WE HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH HAVING TO CHECK IN LATE AND THEN GETTING TO HOTEL AND OUR ROOM WAS CANCELLED OR BOOKED, BUT NOT THIS TIME EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY AND WE APPRECIATED THAT WILL RECOMMED AND STAY AGAIN.

This was a very disappointing experience. The room did not match the pictures of the room we booked. There was no recourse but to lose our money and leave, No effort was made to rectify the situation.

The property is a 5 min. drive from the U of Iowa campus. Free breakfast had lots of hot and cold options. The beds are very comfortable. AC worked great. Property is lower frills but certainly acceptable for a short stay.

This ;property is located in somewhat of a run-down area of Coralville, i.e., our back view was a tank farm and we were just far enough off of the main drag, that the landscxaping, and building condition of other properties in the area next door, was somewhat sketchy.. However, it was clean and the lobby and gathering area where breakfast was served was appropriately kept up. It also looks like even though the property appears to be fairly old, that repairs, painting, etc. have been kept up. The main problem I had with our room was that it stunk like cigar smoke at the entrance to the room. Smell was horrible. I am not an anti-smoking zealot. If it was a faint smell I wouldn't even be reporting this or making this complaint about the room. We are scheduled to return to the same hotel at a later football game in October and I assume we will not be greeted with the same smell. For what it is worth, the free breakfast was appropriate as well and I had no complaints.

The hotel was very nice and quiet, even though it is so close to the interstate. Breakfast started at 7:00, but by 7:20, all of the hot items were gone, and I didn’t have time to wait with the others.

The staff was wonderful. Everything that was advertised was incorrect. The tub/shower was a joke. There was no plug to even have a bath. There was hair in the tub and the tub was very dingy. The room smelled bad. There was dead bugs in the corner. The office chair was filthy. One comforter was dirty. The sofa chair was dirty. The floor was sticky. Afraid to walk without shoes. Breakfast was a completely dirty and empty.

Our first room had a terrible odor and was moldy. We were asked to move due to a water leak in our bathroom, which we assumed contributed to the conditions mentioned above. In the second room the refrigerator leaked and the cabinet it was housed in was very unsturdy, we feared a total collapse. Overall we were disappointed with the accommodations. On a positive note our housekeeper was a very nice man and tried his best to help our stay be better.

We had a first floor room. The carpet was still moist ?? whatever room deodorizer they sprayed was overwhelming. I couldn’t get it out out of my nostrils. It was late and we were tired, and I got the feeling every room was going to be the same.

The only criticism I have is that some guests smoke their “grass” inside the building, and the smell can be pretty horrible in certain areas. Can’t they simply smoke outside? Not everyone enjoys it, needs it, or wants to be exposed to the smell.
