First, the front desk staff were great. Very helpful and offered to help with anything we needed. The room was not ready at check-in. The room was outdated, some unrepaired damage, missing lightbulbs, and didnt have cold water in the morning. The waterpark was excellent. Love that the water was not cold. Overall, some good and some improvements needed for higher rating.

No hot water at all in entire hotel! Indoor pools were all ice cold because their heaters were broken too. Pool bar plating extremely loud music after close. Restaurant attached had terrible food and service. Jusr seemed like staff didn’t care about guests or were overwhelmed with amount of clientele in the hotel at one time

Lukewarm, dirty hot tub. Extremely cold pools that make it hard to enjoy the water. Bathroom door doesn’t latch, bathroom fan doesn’t work. They made the hot tub 18+ when highschoolers were there for a sporting event. There was no breakfast set up on Saturday so we had to leave. When we came back at 9 the breakfast area has 1 cereal option, some fruit, they were just bringing out pancake batter. The whole area was a mess. I expect better when paying almost 400 to stay the weekend.

There is no shower door-- the floor got soaked and then was slippery. I have 2 small chicldren that slipped and fell. No room phone to call front desk. The water park was not open and the lap pool had chipped paint in the water. The carpet in the main entranced was soiled-- not a good first impression walking in. The staff were kind, courteous and helpful.

Old and outdated. Hot tub was broke and pool was only 73 degrees. Stains on the walls in the rooms and metal fence around pool was rusting and falling down. O hot water for showers. Staff member Unique did awesome helping us manage. Boss's pizza next door was understaffed and was burning all the food. Many people were leaving and asking for refunds. Water park water was warm but is only open on the weekends.

The main waterpark feature was closed. Had we known this, we may have booked elsewhere as we have a 5 year old child who loves the water features here. This is the second time in the last 12 months that we have stayed here and had problems with Pirates Cove water features being accessible to guests. Also, no continental breakfast on Friday morning? Both of these items were in the online description. Restaurant under new management, again, unable to serve adult beverages. Been coming here once or twice a year for at least 15 years, sad to see it going downhill.

Don’t let the exterior fool you-once you’re indoors you’ll realize there’s major disrepair throughout the building. We had to walk over a standing pool of water in a carpeted hallway from a bathroom shower leaking through the wall. When we walked into our room, we were hit with the smell of mold and mildew. The bathroom was clean and tidy so the smell was likely from the carpet and window covers. Extensive rust on a floor lamp, underneath the shelf in the closet, and on light fixtures. Other parts of the hotel were going through repairs with sections boarded up with plywood and large buckets of material set off to the side in hallways. Woke up to tornado sirens early that next morning. Tried to call the front desk to get directions as to where to go for safety but the phone in the room wasn’t even working. We had gotten in late the night before, but checked out early in the morning and made accommodations elsewhere for the rest of the trip. The front desk was friendly and I appreciated that they refunded the 2nd night.

I had it booked for a week. I got a call the day of my reservation that they no longer had the suite that I reserved. I was told I could have a regular room but was more expensive than what I booked the suite for. I get there and the sports bar being advertised does not sell alcohol. The pools had A LOT of mold. DO NOT STAY HERE!

There is mold everywhere. The bathroom didn't have any ventilation no fan mold growing all over in the grout . The carpet was wet and sticky probably why when we arrived the AC was set at 64. There are spots everywhere where the paint is bubbled up due to mold . You can tell where they cut the bigger spots and just painted over . In the hallway was standing water all throughout and the smell was strong like cat piss . Other people meet us in hallway had same issues some sounded worse than ours. Fire alarms went off at 1:30 in morning. They had no real protocol half people evaluated others just hung out in hallway finally fire department came to ok everything. I as well as other families have videos and pictures of the water and mold . The health department seriously needs to investigate. I will be sharing my video and pictures with them just wish I could bottle up the smell and send to them also.

Absolutely no hot water in room 405. Staff was notified, nothing was done. States they would try to take some money off of our bill--it didn't happen.Rooms are pretty neglected. Sheets had stains. Tiles coming up on the floor in the bathroom. Black stains (maybe mold) on the ceiling above refrigerator area.

Terrible staff, terrible rooms with dirt/mold on the ceiling from the vents, rusty air vents, sticky carpet!!! The longer we stayed the worse it got. We checked in quick and didn’t notice most of the stuff until later in the night/next morning other wise I would have left and found somewhere else to stay!!

Most disgusting place I've stayed. Pool area dirty as well as whole building dirty and in ill repair. Life guards at pool area are a joke. Are they really life guards? Water is dirty mirky. Is it treated correctly? Mold around edge of pool. Rooms were filthy dirty. Dirty carpets. Breakfast was rolls from walmart, milk juice from walmart and yogurt. Would never stay again. Check in looked like a bunch of meth heads with no teeth and so unprofessional. Very price for 3 nights. I want to turn them in to the state inspections. Looks like people who work there probably live there. Elevator was broke down. Absolutely disgusting.

The included breakfast only had one option which would be fine as long as no one has a food allergies. The lifeguards at the pool did not seem to care about the kids saftey. As there where 10-12 year old kids running around in the 1 foot deep pool, pushing little kids out of the way on the stairs and up by the slides causing kids to hit their heads. Music was loud enough to hear clear as day in the rooms after the pool was closed and past midnight. Then on Saturday into Sunday at 1 am the fire alarm was going off and on and no one could get an answer as to what was going on or if those staying in the hotel where safe. The bathroom title in the room we stayed in was loose and would slip when you walk on it. Lets not forget the humidity from the pool causing water to build up on the room doors and arch ways causing water to drop on you when entering or leaving the room.

The pool area was fantastic and loved that they had lifeguards on duty. So much fun! The downside is that the rooms need much updating. It was difficult to find plug ins for phones/electronics. Carpets were worn but all around it was a good place to stay with kids.

The room and property were okay.... Not the cleanest. The sofa bed was not a sofa bed, simply a sofa. The chair in the room was wet. Towels were stained. Doors were not aligned. Door handles were loose. Overall it was ok at best.

The room was always hot. Every time you tried to change the temperature. It would blow really cold and then it would stay high and the door to the pool area from my room seems like fallen off the hinges.

Overall very disappointing. They switched rooms on me. My key stopped working 3 times. The restaurant was deserted. My bathroom door latch was broken. The microwave was broken. Bathroom exhaust wasn’t running. Snow wasn’t shoveled. The television always started on the setup menu. Wi-Fi kicked me off and made me re-accept terms at least twice daily. The shower faucet leaked and the hot water wasn’t ever hot. The exterior door was ajar for 3 days straight.

There were a lot of stains on the carpet and overall the hallways were dirty. Staff were very kind and helpful, but the hotel needs a lot of updating.

Bathroom door did not shut all the way, hair dryer did not work, issues with the television, bathroom sink faucet leaked, and carpet was frayed in the room. The staff was fine. Although a maid opened the door in the early evening the first night. Someone else opened it the next morning. The big pool is only open Friday nights and Saturdays. Hotel was probably amazing at one time. It either needs torn down or completely remodeled. It is definitely showing major signs of wear.

Staff wa run, hotel was dirty and rundown. Overbooked the hotel so our reservation we made 3 weeks ago they did not have a room for us so we drove 2hrs back home. Th staff were rude and would answer questions with "Not my problem". The hotel is extremely short staffed and waited for an hour in a line that went out the front doors in the cold for an hour to be told they did not have a room for me even though they had my reservation.

I'm sad to write this as I had high hopes for this place and it could be so good. We got there at 320 and were told the rooms aren't clean yet. Try back at 330 or 4. We returned at 4 to no less than 25 people in the lobby. 2 hours later, we were able to get checked in. When we finally got in, we didn't realize my handicapped mom would have to walk all the way around for her room. When we got her in the " accesible" room, we found a bed and a bathtub that she could not get into. She slept on the couch. The pool was a hike for her, and there wouldn't have been accessibility into the pool once we got there. Not that we could get in because there were too many people to move and the chlorine smell would have put her in an immediate asthma attack. The rest of our rooms were ok but so dated and needed maintenance . The shower actually didnt work in my sisters room but maintenance did show up and fix it.We decided not to go out that night so we went to boss' pizza. The lady was a little frazzled brought us menus and said she was alone and it might be a minute. she ran to grab a drink for another table and then went to the back. She was there awhile so we ordered through the QR code. We asked the guy who came out a few times if there was an estimate he said it's coming. One hour later the lady comes out of yhw back and says where do I start. We say we are still waiting for food. She's like ok let me check and he then comes out with some food. It took over 1.5 hours to stand in line with an upset toddler to be able to check in along with about 100 other people/kids. Would STRONGLY recommend allowing early check-in when you all know hundreds of people are checkin in the same day. We saw people leave, people were being checked into already occupied rooms. It was the absolute worst experience I've EVER had in checking into a hotel. The elevator to the 2nd floor, where our room was, was out of order so we had to carry a ton of stuff up stairs after having already put in on a cart to take to the room, but cant use carts on stairs. There were ZERO towels the entire stay for swimming and even our suite didnt have enough towels to shower with for the number of people we had (2 towels for 5 people) is completely ridiculous! The lobby was basically destroyed by angry waiting children/adults and the staff left all of the mess, including beer cans, wrappers, fake mulch from center display all over the ground and staff did not clean up after the checkin nightmare was over until sometime after midnight as was my last time through lobby. The only positive thing I have to say, is that my son had an absolute blast but thats because he's 3 and doesnt have the brain capacity to notice how incredibly awful this hotel is.

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. This was exactly what we needed on our long drive. A clean and safe place to stay with a family friendly giant pool playground for the kids that was included in the stay. Hotel needs updating and the management was getting quotes while we were there. Dinner was great with a voucher for an adult beverage at the restaurant. Glad we stubbled on this location. It was just the space we needed for all 5 people in my group.

The worst checkin process I’ve ever experienced. Waited in line for 40min. The lobby was crowded, loud and full of people that were waiting on their rooms to be ready. When I tried to check in I was told my room wasn’t ready. I was told it would be ready in a couple of minutes but I ended up waiting another 30min. I asked again and was told they were cleaning it now. I waited another 15min and it was still not ready. My family and I could not wait any longer so we cancelled our room and ended up driving home. It was a disappointing ending for my 9 year old son’s birthday.

Room was fine. I dislike the shower setup with no door. Water spilled everywhere. The check in was an absolute atrocity. It took over an hour to check in and this was AFTER I completed the quick check in process. What is the point of that if it doesn't help? The two employees checking people in were courteous, but as far as appearance I couldn't believe how unprofessional they appeared. One was wearing a beanie hat and Mario Brothers sweatshirt. Really?? That's how you want customers to see your staff? Ramada has been a bust 2 times now in two different locations. Love the concept of the indoor waterpark, but way to packed and overall we will not be coming back unless customer service improves drastically. We ordered a pizza at 5:30 from their restaurant and we didn't receive it until 7:15! The incompetence and lack of leadership was jarring. The entire place needs a huge overhaul. We also didn't have towels to use from the waterpark and I didn't even bother to ask the front desk because I knew they wouldn't be able to assist us. Pool was supposed to open at 9am, we could see lifeguards and other staff scrambling, but it did not open until 9:10. How is this not ready everyday? This could not have been the first time for these employees opening up? Overall again, we are done with Ramada as a whole.

I booked this room a week before our trip. When we got to the hotel to check in, we were told our room was given away because the hotel was overbooked. Well, they dropped the ball and we had no room, they had given it away. The check in experience was horrible. Had to wait 3 hours to get all of our rooms. When items were needed during the stay, front desk personnel were either absent, slow or rude. Was promised a discount for our rooms not being ready at check-in, but that did not occur. Rooms were old, dated and dirty. Will not return.

I arrived there with my family, and after a long wait at the front desk, to find out that our room was not available and there is nothing they could do. Apparently, the manager and assistant manager do not work on the weekend, and the receptionist couldn't get a hold of anyone. the cleaning crew had gone for the day, and the rooms were not clean to give to us. we booked our room 3 weeks in advance and checked in online. We had to find another hotel in the area to spend the night. They cancelled our reservation and asked us to speak with our third-party vendor to get refunded. We are yet to get a refund. What a shame.. nice water park with the wrong management. I read the reviews and was expecting a delay or not a clean facility but I was surprised to not find a room all together. I didn't plan for that one. what a waste. This is very unfortunate. I wish someone will do something about it.

The staff was incredibly friendly! The back side of the property seemed unkept and unsafe. The door to our bathroom would not close. The ac would only function if the fan was in the on position. When we sat down to have lunch at the in house restaurant we were informed the prices were not right in the menu.

Traveling as a family of 5: Cons: The room wasnt very clean. The mattress had blood stains and urine stains. There were cans of Busch lite already in the garbage can in the room and the couch had white stains on it.. The front desk wasnt very helpful or available. The employees sat in the room behind the front desk and ignored me and my kids waiting to be helped. I was just trying to get some coffee packets for our room since breakfast wasnt until 8am even though the site says it starts at 7am. There were no vending machines for water or snacks. The morning staff weren't very pleasant at all. Pros: the kids had fun at the waterpark and arcade. There were restaurants and gas stations within walking distance so that was very helpful!

I did not like my stay here at all! There were people hanging out outside the building. I felt unsafe. The hotel did not look sanitary. It had a terrible smell. I couldn’t wait to leave the next day! I will not recommend this place.

The location is good, the staff was nicer than over the phone and I guess if you are travelling with kids the water park would be great. I didn't like the room in general, smell very bad and everything inside looked old. The keys didn't work most of the time and that could get frustrating. Easy check in and check out. Great parking. I never saw the pizza @breakfast and besides that all they had was yogurt, cereals and granola bars.

Facility worn, door to room looked like it had been broken and repaired, no hot water in shower in evening or in morning, no closet door in room, dirty glass doors-handprints all over. Other guests, strong “smell” in hallways, kids running, yelling, slamming doors on and off until 4am. Pool area good for younger kids.

It was an alright place to stay. Front desk staff was absent a lot and had to ring a bell for service. The restaurant was not open until like 3:00 so we had to go find food for lunch. Pool was versatile and adequate for young children. Room was good and clean. Would stay again.

This place has gone down hill over the years. Took my girls during the week and only on one pool was open which was disappointing. There is a free breakfast which was granola bars and danishes from Walmart. It use to be a warm breakfast. It’s probably better on the weekends.

Check in was smooth but it ended there. Two towels in the room for five people and spent the entire stay asking for towels to finally get some on our last day. The pool has some acetylene hazards in the children’s pool of things sticking out of the ground that will hurt your feet if you don’t know they are there and the lifeguards walking around fully clothes doesn’t give any confidence that they will effectively be able to jump in for aid without wasting precious moments getting all the layers off or them being weighted down by the amount of wet clothes they would experience after jumping in. The broken lifeguard devices that they played with was not comforting as well. Dinner was meh, but the staff deserve a gold star for efforts as they were definitely overwhelmed and understaffed. Breakfast … cereal, fruit, and yogurt … we left and were thankful that there was a Perkins close by.

We went to the Ramada Friday and the pools needed to be cleaned I got a double bed suite and even tho it was pretty out dated it was clean the bathroom was nice and when asked for more soap and shampoo they gave it to us including towels as well the tv didn’t work at first and the Netflix wasn’t able to connect because the internet didn’t work for the tv it only had a few local channels. The pillows and blankets were very cheap and the couch was broken. The pool area was extremely hot and the pools needed to be cleaned the water was very cloudy.The pizza place down stairs messed up my order so badly. I would NOT stay here again. Property is very run down- doors molding, paint coming off walls, holes in the ceiling, rust on fixtures, not many outlets to charge electronics. Pool staff were inconsistent in implementing “rules”. Arcade is remotely run, so issues can’t be addressed immediately. Their “FREE Continental” Breakfast was disappointing to say the least.

Check in was fine. However that was the only thing. Bathroom door didn’t close or latch. Pool shut down early Saturday night. Was going to eat at Boss’ Pizzeria but it was so dirty I am going to call the health department. Lifeguards were LATE and/or didn’t show on Sunday so they only opened half of the pool. (After multiple parents complained.) Continental breakfast was a joke. There was a small selection of cereal with a gallon of milk on ice and the coffee was out. Very disappointed!

It was all just kind of meh… ventilation was iffy because of the pool in the middle and there was some rust on parts of the room from the moisture. It was cleaned ok. Definitely in need of some renovations. No cable or satellite so bring a Roku or some device you can watch tv on. It was a real case of you get what you pay for and we had to be there for a week on a budget so just made it work.

The staff in check-in didn't have "time" for us and it seemed as we were not welcome. Our room bedding was clean - Yeah - but the water pressure in the shower had to be on full blast and totally hot to get a warm shower. The lid on the toilet was loose, so you were feeling like you were falling or sitting on the toilet itself. The TV would not turn on until some staff pushed a button underneath on TV and then we can only change channels but not volume. The water park was not used by us and looked fine but there was large 4–5-foot fans blowing all the time and one was right out our window. The breakfast was absolutely horrible. I am not a germophobic, but we had gallon jugs of milk and orange juice to pour ourselves, so everyone touches them! To keep them cold they had frozen water on the bottom of a tub. Two different kinds of cereals and they were in a tub with a spoon with a small handle so you would touch the handle and then it would fall into the cereal. We tried oatmeal in a packet but only hot water from carafe so threw out because it was hard. Tea bags were loose in a bowl, so everyone grabbed in and picked their flavor. Waffles, yogurt, bars, coffee, orange and apples was the other choices for breakfast. I know it is a water park, but the door frames were nasty and looked like something so growing. Carpet around water park was unclean and lots of trash left on floor. Bathrooms around the hotel were pulled and out of order. Fitness room was closed. Chairs peeling UGH

The connected restaurant was great. But the staff were very rude from the second we got there they acted as if it were an inconvenience to get up and check us in. From there we walked through musty smelling halls to our room which was very filthy. We called and asked for new bedding because there was hair and food in the beds and it was obvious the bedding had never been changed. We never received new bedding so I grabbed blankets from my car and we slept with those. The shower leaked into the hallway and the door to our room which is probably the cause of the musty smell in the hallways. My children really liked the pool area but overall I would never stay there again and would never recommend anyone to stay there.

First off, the waterpark in a hotel is the best idea ever! Wish more hotels did that. They really only need a few TLC touch ups. Door to our room was grimey feeling, I’m sure from the pool chemicals hitting the air. The room itself was great. The arcade had games half working, some took your money and didn’t work and others weren’t working. Some needed to be cleaned as well. Restaurant had a bit of a wait for them to realize we were there waiting but once they did service was great and the pizza was amazing. Would we stay again? Yes, just a few TLC here and there.
