Days Inn by Wyndham Evansdale Waterloo

This hotel has been completely renovated and is a wonderful find. We had stayed here years ago and our expectations were really low but we were very delighted with the changes. It was a well done remodel with a lot of nice details you would find at more expensive hotels. Plugins were plentiful and beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was great - eggs & sausage or biscuits and gravy as well as the usual options. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. We would definitely stay again.

Well I just want to say, if you plan to stay there to sleep. Don’t count on it, TV noise rolls freely through the walls and dogs bark at all hours. From our experience, calls were made to desk and we could hear the conversation of other guests easily. And you know when one dog barks all the others close by do so as well! I guess you get what you pay for, I’m just not ready to spend $250 a night to sleep, our fault. My wife was ready to pack up at 4:30 AM, but said I’m not driving on 4hrs of sleep!!

The desk clerk couldn’t have been nicer. The problem was the height of the beds. They were at least 3 feet off the floor and very difficult for older and short people in our party to get into the bed. They had no step stools or accommodations. So beware.

The staff was awesome, my room was clean and the breakfast was filling.
