Room was ok. The hall carpets are warped and I almost tripped twice They need to paint. There is no elevator to second floor. Check in person was messing around in back with ear phones in and took forever to get his attention and was slightly rude.

We stayed here one night between two full days of driving. Our kids were looking forward to swimming after a long day in the car. Unfortunately when we arrived we were informed that the pool was closed for cleaning. Our kids were very disappointed. I think the hotel could have notified us of this ahead of time as if we had known the pool would be closed we would have stayed elsewhere.

This was my 2nd time staying in this hotel (in this exact same room). It is always clean and confortable. My kids and I were disappointed that the pool was closed during our stay, but thats ok. The staff at this Comfort Inn always go above and beyond, they are so kind and really want to provide guests with a good stay. The breakfast had all the typical offerings but we were very satisfied. If I am ever in the Sioux City area again I would definitley stay here a third time!

My daughter is on crutches and they didn't have any first floor rooms. The lady offered to carry our luggage and any help we needed. Beds are comfortable, pool was nice and not freezing cold.

Perfect for a short stay with our family of 4 and dog. There is not an elevator, which made it a bit of a hassle bringing our belongings upstairs. Overall a good stay for the price point.

The staff is excellent. Friendly, professional and efficient. The rooms are clean and most have been nicely remodeled. The carpet in the hallways needs updating and the wallpaper replaced. The pool was down for repair but pool next door was available to us. All in all a great place to stay.

Once you get past the dingy hallway the room is surprisingly nice. I was very pleased with quality of bed & slept really well. The entire place was exceptionally clean and well kept. A positive experience.

I’ve stayed here for 4 years in a row and the decline of this property in the last year is huge. Carpet in halls and lobby was very dirty, loose, and torn. There was maintenance and other stuff laying all around, the parking lot was filled with litter. Not planning on staying here again!

There are renovations taking place, hallways need a lot of work. The room was completed and clean which made our stay just fine. Breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, bagels, etc. Staff was pleasant, we would stay again.

Our room was relatively quiet, and comfortable. I was confused that the refrigerator had no freezer, and was unable to adjust the temp to anything over slightly lukewarm. Loved there was actual scrambled eggs at breakfast, but the baking powder biscuits were so dry and hard as a rock, thus uneatable. Plus no muffins left other than 2 lonely chocolate ones that neither I nor my 2 companions wanted.

The bath tub would not drain. Room smelled musty. Hall carpet dirty, ripped and buckled. It was noisy with cars parked right outside our window and person walking in the room above us. Location was on a corner with a stop light. You could hear cars constantly.

Unfortunately, the water issue is huge. We could not shower when we arrived. It simply would not work. Many guest had no hot water or no pressure to shower. Ours was fixed but we were not able to use the one service that was much needed for our stay.

What you’d expect with an economy hotel. Clean and good service. Bed was good. Right on the main roads so you could hear some road noise. The hotel is within walking distance of a number of good restaurants. We went to the a family sports bar that was very good. We would stay there again.

Service desk person didnt care about gas smell when told about it. Said there was no gas on property. Then later said fire company was there earlier. And when talking to him he couldnt take his earbuds to let him know it smell like gas on second floor.

We had been driving for 15 hours and arrived at 3:30am to a friendly reception. The evening manager was quick, efficient, and warm while she checked us in. Helped us locate parking and made it easy for us to check in. Most hotels wish for employees like these, this place has them. We really appreciated the hospitality. The beds were firm and the sheets were soft. The bathroom was generous, clean and had the necessary amenities. We crashed, cleaned up, ate breakfast and we were on on way.

The night desk receptionist (short hair) was warm, welcoming, exceptionally pleasant, and attentive. In the morning she was still on duty and equally charming. She is s gem. Our room was relatively quiet, and comfortable. I was confused that the refrigerator had no freezer, and was unable to adjust the temp to anything over slightly lukewarm. Loved there was actual scrambled eggs at breakfast, but the baking powder biscuits were so dry and hard as a rock, thus uneatable. Plus no muffins left other than 2 lonely chocolate ones that neither I nor my 2 companions wanted.

The most helpful and understanding staff ever! Our dogs were affected by the tornado and storms on the drive up, so they were acting up and stressed out. Instead of me taking a chance of the dogs disturbing other guests the next day they allowed me to check out a day early. They refunded my night. I had breakfast, which was good (eggs, sausage, yogurt, waffles, juices, cereal, fruits, etc). The hotel was very nice, clean, quiet, and the beds were super comfortable. 10 out of 10.

There are renovations taking place, hallways need a lot of work. The room was completed and clean which made our stay just fine. Breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, bagels, etc. Staff was pleasant, we would stay again.

Nice updated room, comfortable bed but the mattress was a little bit soft for my liking. Very clean. The ac/heating unit worked well and was easy to control. Bathroom was very nice and had many grab bars for accessibility plus a bench for the tub/shower combo in our accessible room. Pool looked nice, but we didn’t utilize it. There was not much of anything from which to select from their complimentary breakfast, so we ended up skipping that unfortunately. Staff were friendly. We would stay there again.

We stopped here for a quick overnight stay as part of a road trip through the area. We found it to be very clean, with a nicely appointed room and a very comfortable bed. The price was very reasonable. Breakfast was nothing special, but very adequate and served our needs. Would recommend this hotel.

The staff waa veey friendly and helpful! But, the breakfast area is extreamly small and my family of 5 would have taken up all the room so we had to bring breakfast back to our room. They also had a very hard time keeping up with the food so we had to wait for anyrhing hot. But otherwise it was a veey nice stay in a nice room!

I have never stated at a property so poor of condition. Our room smelt like marijuana upon entering, we had to open the broken/cracked window and turn on air and leave. We booked a jetted tub suite, jets didn't work, tub was dirty and gross. Room was run down and in need of major cleaning/repair. Wall behind fridge exposed pipes for tub. Upon complaining to front desk about non-working tub, she said "none of our tubs work" um, then don't book them! Was told a manager would call me 8/30, STILL waiting for a call!

The pool was disgusting so don’t expect to swim in it! See photos. The bathroom door didn’t close because of rust on the top of the door frame. Also there was mold in the bathroom along the walls and ceiling! Attached photos. Outlets didn’t work, so their bedside light didn’t work and charger station didn’t work, which was super frustrating!! They had a great breakfast with hot and cold options, which was super convenient. Had scrambled eggs and sausage, with options to make waffles and cereal! The 3 queen room is very spacious and recommend they get a pull-out couch in there so they could fit more people! Most of all didn’t see any bedbugs! Yay!
