A Complete Nightmare: Unsafe, Deceptive & Terrifying Avoid this hotel at all costs. I traveled here to plan end-of-life care for my mother while recovering from a broken back. We needed a safe place; instead, we lived a nightmare. Your Hotels.com listing is entirely fraudulent. It claimed pets stay free, yet the clerk aggressively yelled at me, demanded a fee for our cats, and insisted they be "caged." The listing also advertised a pool and roll-away beds—neither exist. The environment is terrifying. Upon entering, staff were screaming at each other. We witnessed what appeared to be open drug deals involving staff and transients. Many staff looked severely impaired. We feared for our safety. The building is a disaster. Our room lacked necessities, had broken lamps, leaking faucets, and intermittent Wi-Fi. The halls were filthy; a discarded band-aid sat on the floor from Friday to Monday. The breakfast was completely spoiled and inedible. Customer service doesn't exist. The front desk ignored over a dozen of my calls. Our room keys reset three times, and exterior doors were broken. This forced me to repeatedly walk to the lobby in agonizing pain with my broken back. (The only positive: Sunday/Monday housekeeping was kind). This property is a dangerous hazard and a scam. We have photo and video proof of the deplorable conditions. We demand an immediate, full refund. Do not book this hotel! This property should be reported to the state police.

Had a single king on the first floor, I stayed for 9 days. There was no carpet in the room (unlike what picture shows). Bathroom: Very poorly lit, bathtub had no stopper, hard to pull out valve to start water, shower diverter hard to use. (Plumbing seemed old and really needed updates.) TV app was difficult to use & sometimes the app just stopped working - requiring power cycling to get TV to start working again. Back door security was broken. During my stay I was never asked if I needed fresh towels or linens. Refrigerator was heavily frosted. Handyman turned back the temperature control resulting in drainage creating a water puddle on floor for 2+ days. I had to ask for extra towels to catch water so that I did not have to walk in the water. Refrigerator would make noises in the middle of the night - sometimes woke me up. Telephone had red light flashing indicating a message. There were no messages - staff unable to stop flashing light and recommended to just unplug the phone. No closet or bar-with-hangers to hang clothing - just 3 wooden wall hooks. There were no drawers - only cubby holes. Since phone was unplugged, I was told I could expect a "wake-up knock" on my door in the morning -- never happened. King bed was comfortable. Table for desk was adequate. Hot water was easily accessible. Towels were better than expected quality. Breakfast room adequate.

The room was bare bones. No carpet. Cheap mattress. The accessibility furniture was all stacked in the bathroom. I had to move it to get into the bathroom.
