Inn America - Lewiston

BEWARE. Not as described! Our room was dirty with food left in the fridge that smelled. Asked for another room, keys were not activated correctly. Once in our room, someone unlocked our door, and came in. It was the general manger! There is a sign on the door stating the hotel doors were locked from 11pm-6am for the safety of the staff and guests. Thank you Hotels.com for refunding us. *I do want to state how the staff was friendly and nice*

Reserved this hotel because it was the only one available. The ONLY thing nice about this hotel are the staff. Lobby is dirty. The elevator stinks. The tv had SIX channels. The shower has 3 modes: off, scalding hot or freezing cold. The beds and pillows were horrible. There was a loud noise about every 5 mins - at first we thought was thunder…but soon realized it was *something* in the hotel. Not sure what is was, but we’ll just say, we slept about 30 mins that night. We will make the 5 hour drive home before we ever stay here again!

Room was not clean, there was a sticky substance on the floor, the hand towel by the sink was stained and there was a full garbage can. The property had stained carpets in the hallways and the door by the pool was always ajar. Breakfast had limited choices and what there was ran out before 7:30. No protein options unless you count cold biscuits and gravy.

I give this a 5 star based on the price. It was an incredible value in this day and age. The font desk service was as good as any Marriott I have stayed at. I was in Lewiston for a dog show. It was close to everything and the room was perfect for this purpose. A friend stayed across the street at more than double the price I paid and she said it was not nice at all. My room was: clean, no carpet, beds were comfortable, they provided all the basic amenities (lotion, shampoo, etc) TV. The shower was hot and great pressure! bonus: no pet fee :) They did not provide (nor did I expect) cleaning everyday, ability to get Netflix (not that it mattered). I will stay here every year I go to the Lewiston Show. Great little find...

For the price this is an excellent choice. It’s my second stay here for a few nights each time. Quiet and everything a person needs. It’s not fancy but comfortable. Great option for this area!
