Quality Inn Post Falls - Coeur d'Alene

Sink drain broken, TV remote faulty, noise on back patio at midnight kept me awake, no elevator, desk trainees made me enter all my ID information even though I had don it on line and and had a confirmation number. I was suffering from sun screen in my eyes when I checked in so that made me grumpy. This should not be a Choice hotel!

clean room, great staff and friendly people staying at site. only negative was that there is no elevator to 2nd floor which makes it difficult if you have a lot of luggage.

The carpets were very dirty, no elevator to the second floor. They don't refill the breakfast items, they double issued a room to one of the gusts who walked in and found other people's things, they have very narrow hallway upstairs, etc.

No elevator, and the only luggage cart was unusable due to a broken wheel. The staff accommodated us by placing us on the first floor at the end, after an hour's wait, since the room was not yet cleaned by 4:00 pm in a hotel offering a 3:00 pm check-in. So it was still a long way to carry the luggage, but it was doable. Also, the single ice machine did not work, so I had to take a trip to a local gas station to purchase a bag.

Has laundry room and gym which is good, the service was super slow and the soap wasn't refilled in the bathroom

There were no parking spaces available. I was driving a truck with an enclosed trailer. The young lady at the front desk could speak almost no English. She called her manager and he suggested that I park in the empty lot next door or on a s driveway down that feet, or just block other cars in and deal with it in the morning. Post Falls is not an area you any to park off site. I just asked him to cancel the reservation and he refused. I have video of the full lot and refuse to pay anything traded that reservation after dealing with the manager. Horrible customer service.

No elevator and Worst shower ever! Staff were friendly, however.

The room was dirty. Floor hadn't been vacuumed and tables hadn't been wiped down. Bathroom towel bar was falling out of the wall.

Filthy, filthy, filthy. There’s no other way to put it. We had to leave. There was only one person who came to clean up the bathroom, but she was super busy covering the front desk and cleaning a bunch of rooms on the first floor. Never again.

Our room was dirty, coffee all over the walls. Our room was connected to another room and the door didnt lock. Let the lady at the front deak know, didnt care.

Ive never submitted a negative review but our room was so grossly dirty that it beckons your attention. There was so much dust and dirt built up on the carpet around the furniture it was obvious its rarely moved for thorough vacuuming. Hair and dust everywhere. The bathroom walls had crud and finger marks that we wiped down easily with a cloth, and the sink was filthy with dried mucus around the drain. Staff and overall experience was fine but there was definitely no sign of quality in the cleanliness.

AVOID!!! Not to the guys fault, but the guy at the front desk was not helpful at all. The room was very dirty, stains ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE! The walls, cieling all had stains. The carpet had dirt, was clearly not vacuum. The toilet.... spend your money elsewhere. Absolutely not worth it.

Simply put the hotel was dirty. The whole place has an odor and the hotel room smelled awful and was incredibly humid. The walls were filthy, had coffee splatters on them,and had dirt marks on them and the floors didn't appear to be vacuumed or cleaned. The ac unit has the sheathing stripped off a large portion of the cord. The lamps had stains all over them, the curtains had rips in them. The shower drain wasn't even sealed to the bottom of the tub, allowing water to drain into the floor somewhere. I was honestly so upset that it was the ONLY place I could find for the night. I felt It is apparent that this place does not care or value their customers. They provided one key card that had dirt finger smudges all over it and the card holder had the same. To top it off, if you lose that one key card they will charge you for it per the sign inside the lobby. It cost $220 for the night for a 2 queen beds. I stayed in a 2 room 2 queen suite in spokane valley the next night for $210. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else besides here.

We skipped breakfast because the clerk getting it ready was coughing the whole time. The bathroom floor was sticky and the comforter on the bed had some nasty stains. Wouldn’t stay here again.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY STAYING HERE!!! The room was absolutely nasty, there was nasty looking drips of god only knows what dripping down the walls in the bathroom, there was 2 holes in the shower wall where a support handle had been broken off and the holes still had little broken what appeared to be nails sticking out of them. The bathroom sink didnt drain properly, the sink faucet wasnt even properly attached and moved every time i tryed to turn on the water. There was crumbs all over the floors, especially around the night stands and under the tables. The place was absolutely nasty!! Would never ever spend my money there again!! Tried telling the guy that was working behind the desk and he absolutely couldnt speak English, had no idea what i was saying and just walked away from me. Quality inn name needs to be removed from them and the name needs to be changed to slum inn.

Free breakfast but not worth it. Should be cheaper room rate, than free breakfast. One of the worst. Bedroom and washroom are dirty. Poor housekeeping and maintenance work. Just staff showing up because it pays the bill, but no concern to the hotel brand. Sorry, I like the brand and location, but not coming back in this particular place. Will be trying other hotel next time.

Noisy fridge, freeway noise, smells like cigarette smoke.

The person who checked us had no personality, not even a smile. No internet, tv was not working, lights in the bathroom strobing and the sink would not drain.

The room smelled of smoke and was not a smoking room. Bathroom sink was clogged would not drain.

Coffee pot and TV did not work in room, took two days to get both addressed and fixed/replaced.

Just a passing thru night. Needed inexpensive night. In that aspect it fit but the price did not reflect comforts that should be standard. But for $140; the room’s sink & shower were clogged. The towel rack was loose. The sink was cracked. The toilet seat was loose The 2nd shower head broken off dangling. The mattress was well used with indents. Attention to maintenance is needed.

Tub did not drain so I was showering in water up to my ankles

Everything was ran down, hall floors were super dirty. The bed it room 111 was horrible it was an old spring mattress that was super hard. I woke up with a backache in the middle of the night. I would name this place (not so quality Inn). The tub didn’t drain fast enough so you had to shower in ankle deep water. The staff at the front desk was super nice. That was the only positive thing about my stay.

After being on the road for 12 hours, I was more then ready to accept almost anywhere to stay, so it met my immediate needs. The property itself was maintained but the room on the other hand was kinda run down. There were small holes in the wall and the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain throughout my stay. So even brushing your teeth or washing your hands was kinda gross. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again!

Desk clerk immediately confrontational. Rude. I am obviously handicapped. No carts for luggage. He gives me a second floor room 60' down a hall to two flights of stairs and then another 100' to a parking lot side room. Upon opening the door, the carpet is filthy. Bedside light, when plugged-in, flickered non-stop until I had to unplug it for fear of an electrical fire. The nightstand drawer was broken into pieces and could not be opened. The TV would not work and Rude Deskdude had to come up and get it to produce a picture. Bathroom was smelly and moldy. One-half roll of toilet paper and no tissue at all, Just an empty box. When I turned on the shower, the smell of sweat/perspiration was overwhelming. It smelled like a 300 lb. construction worker that had been working in 108 degree weather for a month without showering. It was awful. Went to plug in my cell phone to charge it and the electrical outlet did not work. Writing desk lamp would not turn on. I have probably forgotten something, but this is the worst place that I have ever stayed. I booked it for convenience to a hospital 4 min. away that I was scheduled to have extensive back surgery in the next day. Part of being there was to apply pre-operative bodily sterilent as part of my surgical process. The Neurosurgeon made me completely repeat the process in the pre-op room because of what I told him about the cleanliness of this Quality Inn. I asked them to put this establishment on "The Do Not Recommend" list.

Check was terrible. Waited 20 minutes and still didn’t get up to the counter. Only one group ahead of me. Went to dinner instead and when I returned it still took 15 to get checked in.

Quick & friendly check in. Surprised by the hot soup in the evening. Great breakfast too.

Hotel staff were freindly and professional.

Hi ya. Stipped for nite and stayed here. The front desk helper, Assylay was very nice and her job looked like it consisted of just the front desk. U have ring a bell for service and i rang 2x with her coming in diff directions, cleaning.rooms and doing other work than just the front desk. When we checked out in am she was there again!! Seems to b a very dedicated employee!! Ty. 😀

I had a great experience with the front desk staff Azhar . Azhar was professional, friendly, and efficient from the moment I arrived. Check-in was smooth and quick, and they were happy to answer all my questions with a smile.

Waited almost 20 minutes, along with another gentleman that was waiting when I showed up, at the front desk for anyone to show up to get checked in ( 3:00 Pm).

We received a receipt for the room, said $82 something but my credit card was charged $109. They charged a $50 deposit that they said would be refunded at check out, no receipt, no paper trail, they said it might take time to get the deposit refunded. It was not a pet fee, we had no pets.

property is a bit dated, but the place was clean. very welcoming staff. wasn't too difficult to get to considering the road construction.

The room was mediocre. The door was broken and did not latch to a full close. The air conditioning screeched like a cat in heat. Way over priced for these conditions. Post Falls, ID is not a pretty town. Save your money!

The staff up front was off the chart great! Best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Room was good but could tell things were getting dated. Still was good. Will go back if in area again. Loved super bright lights in parking lot. Felt safe.

Where to start? Curtain was partially melted. Floor hadn’t been vacuumed. Dressers and desk had a film and look as if wiped off with a dirty rag. Every attempt to get breakfast, items had not been replenished. Coffee was extremely week. Not what I expect from a Quality Inn

Hotel is a bit off the beaten path and looks a tiny bit run-down, but inside was clean and bright, well maintained and very clean. Good breakfast, soup provided for dinner. Staff was quick and very friendly. We'll stay again for sure.

Coffee machine in lobby inop. Breakfast juice machine inop. Gravy cold, biscuits rock hard as if yesterday's reserve. Rooms updated and clean areas. Good price for decent accommodations.

The room was not very clean, the whole place was just not very good, their breakfast was not very hot and I'm sure the health department would not be happy. I know we're not going to stay there again. I wonder if maybe not staying at a quality inn again.

Rooms had broken lights, shades, holes in wall, clogged drains. Breakfast food was sketchy.

Good value for a one night stay. Room decor was a little dated, but clean. Ample breakfast options including scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles, fruit, yogurt, and cold cereal.

The property is due a refresh. Some fresh paint was evident. Rust on bathroom light fixtures, holes in walls and old spills on furniture all need attention. The breakfast room is welcoming, but requires more frequent cleaning during dining hours (floors were sticky in multiple areas). Hot food needs to be monitored and food safety controls need to be followed.
