Beautiful cabin with relaxing view of the river. The perfect space for gathering with friends to kick back and relax on the deck, inside while playing games, or in the hot tub. Felt like a secluded resort! Great communication with the hosts.

The scenery was beautiful. My son enjoyed fishing in the river. We all enjoyed the view from the hot tub. This is a great place to sit back and relax.

Enjoyed the large deck overlooking the river. Check in was easy once we figured out the proper code for small garage door vs keypad(river side). Inside was impressive, all bedrooms were large. Comfortably fit seven(7) people with room to spare. Plenty of linens and other daily use items.Good call on making certain to check the dehumidifer in utility room!

Great place to take in the view and enjoy coffee onthe deck! We loved our stay there and hope to come back!

This house was great overflow lodging for our annual family event just 5 miles away. Beds were very comfortable. We didn't get an opportunity to enjoy the hot tub, but can imagine how relaxing an evening in the hot tub would have been. We fit our two large SUVs in the garage just fine. Thank you, Vickie!

We were a party of 5 adults and we all had a fabulous time. I met Mark on check-in and spoke with Vickle. They are both very nice and easy to get in contact with if you need them. They take great pride in their rental home and keep things safe, in working order and up to date. We rent homes now to travel around and this place was immaculately clean and had all the amenities that we needed. It was big enough to find space to just break away from others for a while. They provide 3 televisions and there is a couch and table in the basement. We spent most of our time on the upper & lower deck. The rushing water over the dam on the Sioux River was so calming. We spotted several birds, squirrels, deer and beavers busy in their own habitat. There were plenty of chairs for us to sit and a table on the upper deck to eat on. The lower deck has a hot tub that was clean and had powerful jets for weary bones. They provide instructions and chemicals for your safety. Even on warm days it was cooling and quite relaxing. There are also plenty of chairs on the lower deck. The landscaping around the home is red rocks & wood. I believe they are in the process of putting in a fire pit. There is a two stall garage available for parking. Fishing and public access to the river is only a couple blocks away. We caught Carp, Gar, Catfish and turtles. We always catch and release so it was fun. This was just what we needed for vacation and look forward to renting again!

We were so happy with our stay at the Larchwood Cabin. The sunsets were absolutely amazing and the thunderstorm on our last night on the deck was a little slice of heaven. Everything was clean and tidy. We were able to have breakfast in Minnesota and lunch in Iowa and dinner in South Dakota - it is so close to everything! Already planning another stay soon!!

Beautiful well taken care of cabin. Just the peace and quiet we look for. Its one of the best places we have stayed.

We had a great stay, this cabin has beautiful views, is very clean and provided a relaxing retreat that we were looking for!

All of the amenities were wonderful with a very clean and beautiful property. The view was incredible and it was just awesome to get to sit in the hot tub overlooking the river. Very concurrently located close to Sioux Falls but so close as to feel cramped.

Scenic location with great view of the river and much wildlife. Nice place, clean and great for gathering. Only draw back is the surrounding properties are a mess.

Location was great!! Away from town, fantastic view, listening to river water noise on rocks is soothing. Bring your binoculars for bird watching.Need to remove horrible pee smell inside cabin. They have air purifiers going, but not helping at all.Remove the pee smell and this is a 5 star location!!!

Loved the property. Very nice way to relax after a day of driving. Geese & ducks are hatching their young on the river. Was cool to listen to them speak to each other. Unusual layout, but it works!! Beds were comfortable, furnace heating was amazing. The house behind the property made us uneasy, but we kept to ourselves. I think you should own more properties for rental if you can. God Bless. The main problem was not being able to get inside the cabin when we first arrived and operating the garage door wasn't easy, so that was a bit of a hassle, but the river is probably the nicest location for a cabin in the area. Nice to hear the rush of the water outside. Balcony is a relaxing spot to bird watch. 30 min to Sioux Falls for sites and restaurants. Pahoja recreation area is close by, as is Calico Skies Winery. Both are very nice places to visit. Cabin is nicely decorated and the beds are comfy.

Beautiful, private place with great views! Wonderful place to soak in nature while sitting in the hot tub watching the sun set. Well furnished with tasteful decor too! :)

This place was so great! My whole SD family came for Thanksgiving dinner. There were enough places for everyone to eat. There was plenty of beds for those that stayed, and the bedding/pillows were great! The hot tub with the view was amazing. The outside and inside pictures do not do this lovely cabin justice. Perfect place! Warm and cozy. LOTS of bald eagles! Would love to come in Spring time to canoe/kayak the river. I’m from the area but needed a place for my family and I to set up base. Perfect! The owners were amazing and responsive.

We take a short family trip each winter. The cabin was beautiful along with the large windows overlooking the river. We were able to see many eagles from the warmth of the cabin. The gas stoves made it extra cozy as the temperatures outside dropped. We enjoyed using the hot tub and playing games. This was a great spot to enjoy family time.

Lots of steps for 3 old ladies! (62 years old). Getting in and out with having to open the garage door every time. The house itself was beautiful and peaceful. We felt that the chores that we were expected to do were unnecessary.

My family spent the Thanksgiving holiday at this cabin. It was decorated so beautifully with autumn/Thanksgiving decor which was a wonderful, unexpected touch of home. It was a perfect size for the 6 of us and we really enjoyed the hot tub! This cabin was so cozy and inviting! So much more than we expected. Great location as well. You felt like you were in your own world, but the towns and are only a few mins drive away. I highly recommend this cabin for a lovely, relaxing time.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin for New Year’s Eve with our teenagers. The privacy of the property was nice and the scenery was even better, we got a surprise visit from an eagle. We took advantage of the hot tub even though it was cold out and we liked that shopping wasn’t too far away. Thank you for having us, we hope to stay again in the summer sometime!

Wonderful weekend away. Beautiful country next to the river. We enjoyed the sounds and view of water rapids, saw several deer from the upper deck, toured the local dairy, and visited the local brewery. Great country location with the opportunity to make a short trip into Sioux Falls.

This cabin didn't disappoint! Although it seems isolated, it is actually very close to many attractions. We enjoyed Sioux Falls which was an easy, just less than 30 minute drive. Also, the arboretum, casino, dairy farm, winery, and state parks all very close. It was so beautiful and peaceful sitting on the deck or patio watching birds and listening to the rapids. GREAT place for our annual sister trip!!

Even though we worked remotely part of the time, the location of the house was perfect. Tge views from inside and out are beautiful. Listening to the river & nature was truly relaxing. Cabin is remote enough to offer privacy but close to anything you may need or want to do.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. We love the quiet peacefulness of it. It's perfect for getting away from it all! We celebrated our family Christmas, traveling from 3 different areas and this is a great central location. The kids and adults alike all loved being out on the deck and enjoying the sound of the river below as well as going on walks on the quiet roads. We did take a short couple mile trip down the road to the creamery for delicious ice cream and seeing the farm! I highly recommend booking this and look forward to stayng here again.
