We loved our time at Hidden Ridge Resort! Plenty of sleeping space for our large group, easy to get to, and we enjoyed not being right downtown but more in the mountains. The hot pools were so nice!

We really enjoyed the pool and the sauna. The outdoor grills the little play area with the structure Rock structure for the kids. Overall it was a really nice place. Travel on the local bus was easy too

Nice quiet location with good road access and bus service to town. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water for five of us. Nice hot tub. Property well maintained. Would come again.

Love the property. 2nd winter stay for skiing. Excellent staff/service. Pool/hot tub with amazing views, beds/accommodations very comfortable, a bit rustic which is what we were looking for. Nice to make a real fire after a day of skiing and sit in the hot tub. Parking could be a bit more organized, otherwise great place to stay in the winter.

Fantastic stay. Hot pools were a great addition to the property and we enjoyed them daily. Fantastic mountain views! On site bike rentals were a great feature. But get there early to reserve them as only ~4 on site! We rode the Tunnel Mountain Bench Loop trail close to property. Excellent ride and well worth the effort. Only negative comment is the parking availability: Does not seem to be enough outdoor spaces to accommodate all guests although there is an indoor parking facility as well. Our rental was too large to go into the garage and barely fit within the parking spaces. Once we secured a spot, we were reluctant to give it up. Otherwise, a fantastic trip and property!

As others have said, this property is a bit dated. Feels like it’s from the 1990’s. But it’ll get the job done for a quick ski trip in Banff. Parking is easy. The hot tub is really large so overcrowding was never an issue and the sauna was really nice. I would stay here again. We didn’t attempt to cook at all because the kitchen is so small.

We were 8 friends who stayed in this cabin. It was def a little tight for all of us where there wasn’t much floor space for our suitcases but I think it worked out perfectly. Felt like a big sleepover. Think of this more like a hotel - they cleaned the units each day and there was a LARGE and beautiful communal pool and hot tub that was empty most days. There was also a sauna. Location was perfect, with a quick and free bus ride straight to town. Would recommend others to stay here if they are exploring Banff

Incredible view from this property. We arrived an hour after we were scheduled to arrive 5 pm but we had to wait in the check in area for 30 mins while our property was readied! The hot pools were also closed while we were there and were a little walk away from the property despite the images looking like they are attached.

Upon entry into the unit, we were disappointed by the misrepresentation of the unit. It appeared bright and airy, clean and well put together. Our disappointment was with the uncleanliness of the unit. The bathrooms were filthy with hair and scum residue everywhere. The walls were filthy and marked up. Overall, this is not for professionals but weekend parties.

Hot tub was not good it could be used by everyone each room should have one for the price of the rental. Was very disappointed the room was very dusty the beds are so old and uncomfortable it was a horrible stay.

Our stay had some positives and some negatives, but in the end, we would not stay here again. The front desk staff is very friendly and very responsive at all hours. It’s a nice location with quick and easy access to downtown Banff. The property has a nice view of mountains and forest from the back balcony. There is also ample parking both above ground and underground. However, the home was not very clean and needs updates. The bedroom and main bath smelled like urine when we arrived. The kitchen was unswept. The kitchen table was not cleaned and had remnants of the last meal smeared across it. They forgot to service our room one of the three days. The bathtub drain was partially clogged. The carpeting appears dirty and worn. Tile in the bathroom is damaged and cracked. I am sure that this was a very nice property at one time and with a little TLC it could be that way again.

We were a disappointed with the overall conditions. There was a strong cleaning smell when we arrived and had to open all the windows to air out. The appliances are cheap - the microwave didn't open easily, and the toaster had wires sticking out. The dryer lint screen had a large hole in it. There was mold in the showers and water dripped from the upstairs toilet. They don't provide paper towels or napkins (or any other kitchen item besides salt and pepper) so bring your own.

Great location with helpful staff. My only complaint is that the units themselves are showing some wear and tear. The kitchen is a bit beat up and the bathrooms need some love. However, they are clean, just worn out. I would stay here again. Just don't expect modern or new.

Overall, this was a nice place to stay. My only issue was housekeeping. The condo seemed to be surface cleaned only. Upon arrival, we discovered one of the legs on the upstairs bed needing repair, we found the floors needed to be vacuumed and even food from the previous tenants under the bed. Drawers were dirty, so we had to wipe them out prior to using them for our clothing. Lots of spots that needed some dusting.

This place was cute and convenient. It is very much a cabin in a mountain town so do not expect anything fancy but very clean and exactly as described. The only complaint was that the pillows are extremely uncomfortable. Highly recommend bringing your own pillows. Electricity did also go out once or twice during the stay. Otherwise, this place served its purpose and is located in a cute neighborhood of cabins with parking and a bus stop if you plan to use the local transit. The front desk is 24 hours and extremely helpful.

It was just okay. Property is more dated than the pictures let on. We had some maintenance issues that needed to be dealt with. They did do them the next morning. But it made for an uncomfortable night. It is a quiet place to stay.

Overall, staff were friendly and helpful, but the property is about 10 years past it’s best before date. Units were clean, but in a poor state of repair. For example, only one of four burners worked on the dated stove, toilet ceramic was cracked and glued back together, cupboards were rickety, etc.) The worst part was the smell. It might have seemed like a quaint idea to add wood burninng fireplaces, but the unintended consequence are units that reek of smoke. Everything I brought with me had to be washed to get rid of the smell. And we didn’t even have a fire.

This was a great apartment, quiet, clean and convenient. Spaces are smaller than we anticipated, but still had no problem fitting a travel crib in each room/loft!

Staff are wonderful here. Kids loved the hot tub and pool/sauna with a beautiful view. The rooms have no A/C and even with cooler temps it was so hot at night. We left every window including the sliding glass door open for cooler air. Bathroom is very tiny and for 5 of us with one shower was a little tough. Also the room smelled like campfire smoke from the wood burning fireplace.

Although the location was very convenient for visiting areas in/around Banff, the 2 bdr + loft condo was a bit cozy for 6 adults even though it was advertised for up to 10 guests. The condo was a bit outdated but sufficient for our short 2 night stay. The complimentary Roam Transit bus passes certainly came in handy as it was extremely difficult to find parking in Banff.

Overall our stay was pleasant enough. The cabins could use a bit of an update. It was hot when we stayed (high 80's/low 90's) and there was no air conditioning in the cabins. We had only 2 fans that were supplied to cool down both bedrooms and the living room. The cabin was well supplied and the service at the main club house was great.

Minimal chalet with sparse amenities. Sufficient for hanging around and sleeping but kitchen has small, old appliances and nothing more than salt and pepper. Very little counter space if you plan to cook at all. Mostly quite clean though.

The host was responsive, the property was well maintained. Inside of the condo was a different story. It was a very dated condo. The rug was coming apart at places. It was not cleaned properly as the condo was just old.The kitchen and furniture was outdated. The dryer didn't work and had to call maintenance several times. Maintenance was responsive. Overall not happy with the property, didn't come as advertised.

We stayed for a week over spring break to ski Big 3. Front desk was great on check in, and super responsive. Offered to help get discounted lift tickets (which we didn't need b/c we have season passes). We asked for early check in and they were able to accommodate quickly, which we *greatly* appreciated. We also got free bus passes from the resort for the week, which made getting down to town extremely easy and convenient (but stops right at the resort and comes every 20 min or so). The unit was spacious enough for my family to spread out and have their own spaces, and we made great use of the in-unit washer/dryer all week. The decor was a bit dated/hotel feeling, and the unit we were in had some peeling paint/wall paper in a few places that maybe looked like old water damage. But overall it was a good stay and a fabulous trip, thank you!

We also got free bus passes from the resort for the week, which made getting down to town extremely easy and convenient (but stops right at the resort and comes every 20 min or so). The unit was spacious enough for my family to spread out and have their own spaces, and we made great use of the in-unit washer/dryer all week. The decor was a bit dated/hotel feeling, and the unit we were in had some peeling paint/wall paper in a few places that maybe looked like old water damage. But overall it was a good stay and a fabulous trip, thank you!

We chose this property because of the hot tubs and weren’t disappointed! Helpful 24 hr front desk also leant us bear spray for hikes. Short drive or free bus to / from town. If you take the bus on a busy night be aware it gets full at about 9pm, we made the 1.5 mile walk back easy enough.

The family enjoyed the high ceilings and comfortable beds. A few missing items such as sheets for sofa bed and pots were quickly brought to us by maintenance staff. The hot and cool tubs are wonderful, with beautiful views of the mountains, be advised that these and bbqs are shared by the many units of the complex.Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice accommodation for our family of five. Only 3 minute drive to Banff downtown so great location. Staff were wonderful! Very responsive to two minor issues so that was much appreciated!

The place was as advertised and a nice stay. The hot tubs and sauna are really great after big days on the slopes. We had some issues with the dishwasher and the property management and staff were very responsive, could not have asked for more attentive service to our issue. We were overall very pleased and would recommend this property to other travelers.

We shared our loft unit with another couple. It was a little tight but workable. Kitchen was equipped but we did not cook at all. Location was great for us and we used the shuttle every day. The pool area was super nice and had a gorgeous view.

We loved our time at Hidden Ridge Resort! Plenty of sleeping space for our large group, easy to get to, and we enjoyed not being right downtown but more in the mountains. The hot pools were so nice!

Very dated, old and smelled. Its carpeted and probably needs a deep clean. Its just far enough from town that it was inconvenient if you do not have a car. The shuttles do not run frequently enough. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay, the location was convenient to ski slopes and the condo was comfortable. Sleeping in the left was a little warm as the heat in the downstairs rose, but that was a minor issue. Thanks for a great first vacation in Banff!

We had a great time, the place was clean and had room for all (9) of us. Parking was tight but we found spots on property. Bus stop on the property made it easy to get downtown without having to drive. We walked back from town once. It's definitely doable.

We did not realize that this property was essentially a resort, but it worked for our group of four adults nonetheless. Very clean, easy parking, close to downtown Banff (with access to the bus). Would stay again!

The only cons of this property are the parking and the crowded hot springs. Parking is hard to find especially if you are in a truck. But we always found a spot. The hot springs are too crowded in the evenings. We found that going around 5:00pm was best to actually get a seat. The pros outweighed these 2 issues. The proximity to town is unbeatable. It’s 24 minutes from Sunshine. The space worked well for a family of 4. The condo was always warm and cozy. We would stay here again.
