Easy check in and check out, Nice scenic property very close to highway, shopping and dining. Friendly staff and heated indoor pool. Decent fitness room as well.

Location is great. Right off the tollway. Room was nice, modern and well appointed but there wasn't enough lighting. At night, with all the lights on, the room just wasn't bright enough. The light that illuminated the bathroom mirror was on a very short auto timer and frustrating to have to keep turning it on. Shower and bathroom amenities were very nice. Bed comfortable. Early Saturday evening and throughout the night there was NO hot water! Couldn't shower that night. First call to the the front desk-was told it would be fixed in a half hour. An hour and half later I was told by someone else at the desk, it would be fixed in a half hour. It never was. Also, I asked the girl at the front desk to have housekeeping bring an extra set of bath towels to my room, before I left for the day on Friday. She wrote it down, but I never got the extra set of towels. The fitness room needs a complete re-fit. One machine was jury rigged with tape on the handles, and another machine had no pin for the weight stack. The free weights were falling apart-the set screws holding them together were loose and the weights were ready to fall off the handles. There was only one bench press. The air in the room was way too heavy and damp. No circulation at all. On a scale from 1-10, I can only give the hotel a 4.5-5.

It was a nice hotel. Bar and restaurant staff were so friendly as well as maintenance. Only major problem was we went for the pool and on our last day they did not open the pool until 6 pm. They said it was due to maintenance but not once did we see someone in there working. Some staff were confused like us as to why it was closed.

This hotel does not have LAUNDRY FACILITIES as stated on Hotels.com, if I had known this I wouldn’t have booked it. It does have a laundry service with a per item charge. We were allocated room 118 which the hotel must know has NO Wi-Fi reception and reported it 3 times before having to change rooms as their engineer couldn’t “fix it”. On a plus side reception granted us a generous check out time which was much appreciated.

Hotel is great, but there should be security cameras in the parking lot. After the first night, the catalytic converter was stolen from my 2010 Prius. A terrible shock, especially as an out-of-towner, with important events to attend.

The hotel and our room was spotlessly clean. These people work really hard and the hotel is well managed. The reason we gave a less than stellar review is that the hotel is tired and really needs new carpeting for sure throughout the hotel and some new furnishings in the Lobby. The reason we’re very concerned about the carpeting is we stayed on the second floor and my husband and I who are fit and thin kept tripping on the carpeting that sticks up and is loose or has lumps. It really isn’t safe and I’m planning to call the manager about it. Someone who is disabled or elderly or even just a regular person could fall so easily on this carpeting. The room cleaners were fabulous. We really think for this mid price hotel. They do a wonderful job overall it just needs a renovation.

Foyer is beautiful. When i booked the room with a king bed and sleep sofa we planned on using the sleep sofa for my son and i booked the room for 3 people. The sheets on the sofa were dirty and there were only enough towels for 2 people.

When a room is not clean when you check in, it’s hard to ever get comfortable. It appeared tidy but there was old dried food on the bathroom floor, tub and bathroom ceiling were dirty, and even the toiletries were half used and dirty. No hotel should be like this, especially a 4 star property.

The hotel did not honor the room type/floor I reserved over a month ago nor did they offer any solution. The lady working the front desk at the time I checked in couldn’t even give me an answer as to why the room I booked and paid for was not available. The plumbing in the hotel must not be the greatest because the toilet in the bathroom ran all day and night. We pulled out the sofa bed and there was food underneath the bed as well as dark brown stains on the sheets which could have been either poop or chocolate. Either way, that definitely let me know that the rooms there are not properly cleaned. The breakfast buffet options were extremely limited which is not worth the price they charge for it. Jaxx’s Bar/Restaurant on the other hand was great. Dispute my dislike for the hotel, the staff was pleasant. I travel often so when choosing a hotel, comfortability is most important. I was there to attend my niece’s graduation ceremony from the Navy which I was extremely excited for, but honestly speaking the problems with the hotel put a damper on my trip.

I have stayed here before and it was been fine. The room size is nice and it is clean. Staff are very nice. My husband complained about the lack of good lighting in the room. It was quite dark.

Check in was easy and our room was ready early. Very nice, clean room. We had a king bed and sofa. Loved the layout of the room. It was a full hotel, but we could not hear other guests. Will definately return if on the area.

The hotel was clean, inviting and the staff was courteous. Unfortunately they have the skimpiest pillows I've ever seen. It was difficult to sleep on them. Also the sheets arent long enough to cover a king sized bed, do the bottom of the bed is weird.

clean spacious hotel. I recommend and will be returning. We couldn't check in until 3pm which was a bit of a drab, but other than that, our stay was clean. nice. and comfy. tv needs to be updated tho as it is not a smart tv. only limited to cable.

We have stayed at the Hyatt in Deerfield countless of times and I’ve never been told about an early check in fee. I was never made aware that they now charge $30 for early check-in. Of the many many times we’ve stayed there this is never occurred until yesterday. I will never stay there again. Hyatt in Deerfield. You need to train your staff to be accommodating and friendly. You’ve just lost a great customer. There are so many other hotels to choose from in Deerfield and now you’ve given us the greenlight to do that.

My prepaid reservation at Hyatt was not honored upon arrival at 4:30 PM. I finally received a room at 2:58 AM, a delay that was not an isolated incident as several other guests in the lobby experienced the same issue. Additionally, my incidental charge has still not been refunded five days later.

The room was clean the cleaning crew were amazing but as to checking in I had called 3 hours before arriving after a 13 hr drive and asked if I have to book another night or can I just check in with a fee upon arriving and they said I can check in at 1 am for $100 or 5 am for $40 when I arrived they said I needed to book another night … almost didn’t stay there anymore but I was tired so instead of arguing I booked another night ..

Excellent location and facility. The gentleman that checked us in was so well-spoken and helpful. Kudos to this gentleman.

Call hotel in the morning to see about early check in. Talk to Tony who said sure not a problem. Then when I got to the hotel, he says computer is charging me $30 for early check-in. Like it was a surprise. It wouldn’t matter anyway, but it would’ve been nice to known the charges when I called in the morning. Also, very scary elevator. Doors open before elevator stops.

When I arrived they had given my reserved room to someone else and then basically made it seem like I had to accept the room they had; which one bed would not work for 4 people. Only after I became upset is when a 2nd room suggested because I asked and was told they were booked up. Just a terrible check in experience after traveling all day. Breakfast was a plus and the staff in the dining area was amazing. The room could have been cleaned better and more towels and bath cloths should have been left. I had to keep asking for an extra 2 towels and clothes for 4 people.

We booked this hotel because we had an early flight out of Ohare. About 15 minutes straight down I-290 will get you to the airport. The hotel is large, very clean, and above average. The price was good. Room was very clean and spacious and comfortable. Many dining options nearby. I would stay here again.

Great location next to Scrambled for breakfast or lunch and access to the highway 20 minutes to O'Hare. Clean big room with extra pull-out sofa. Lots of free parking and WiFi. This is our favorite hotel visiting Chicago and the North Shore. Expedia always has great pricing!!! Thank you!

The hotel was nice but the bed was super hard and the room was only peripherally clean. The restaurant was excellent. The hotel did not have EV chargers and it made it super difficult to deal with the rental car.

The rooms are clean and spacious, providing a comfortable place to rest after a long day. There’s a nearby authentic Mexican restaurant called Taco Vida. The area also has other good dining options, although I personally didn’t enjoy the ones at the hotel.

The bed at this hotel was very comfortable. I loved the clock inside the mirror in the bathroom, but would have liked a clock beside the bed as well. Although we were near the expressway, the room was very quiet. Breakfast was good, but a bit pricey at $19.50 for the buffet, plus coffee, plus juice.

Housekeeping staff attentive. Room amenities very good for price of stay. Restaurant hot buffet offers too much of barely average food. My suggestion would be stick with a smaller menu & make it delicious otherwise eat the fruit, cereal & yogurt on offer. Even the coffee was terrible! A Hyatt Hotel should do much better.

I liked everything except 2 things: the toiletry items (shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) were very low quality so bring your own, and there's isn't a free breakfast. Everything else was great.

The room was amazing and clean. Very fancy i loved it definitely updated.my only gripe would be to serve better breakfast and have better options. Make sure people know they have to pay for breakfast. The hotel is great though

It was nice place to stay the only thing I didn’t enjoy was the bagel was too hard The drinks were expensive. Other than that, everything else was great.

The hotel did not honor the room type/floor I reserved over a month ago nor did they offer any solution. The lady working the front desk at the time I checked in couldn’t even give me an answer as to why the room I booked and paid for was not available. The plumbing in the hotel must not be the greatest because the toilet in the bathroom ran all day and night. We pulled out the sofa bed and there was food underneath the bed as well as dark brown stains on the sheets which could have been either poop or chocolate. Either way, that definitely let me know that the rooms there are not properly cleaned. The breakfast buffet options were extremely limited which is not worth the price they charge for it. Jaxx’s Bar/Restaurant on the other hand was great. Dispute my dislike for the hotel, the staff was pleasant. I travel often so when choosing a hotel, comfortability is most important. I was there to attend my niece’s graduation ceremony from the Navy which I was extremely excited for, but honestly speaking the problems with the hotel put a damper on my trip.

Only complaint was very noisy on the floor my first night and next morning. Lots of families with slamming doors and yelling for over 2 hours starting 6:30am. Maybe families can stay in one section of hotel as a rule. It was hard to deal with

The staff walked in on my wife undressed and did nothing to make amends. Even once provided with a do not enter sign, the lock on the door is the only thing that stopped it from happening twice. We're going through a difficult time, we didn't need that. Will never stay at a Hyatt again. Even the Red Roof Inn left us alone and had throat lozenges.
