Ice machine was broken. After driving 8 hrs, an ice cold drink would have been nice. Orange juice machine was broken. Lock on outside entry door was broken. Bathroom was gross, especially the tub. Trim fell off the door when we unhooked the chain lock. Room was in dire need of updating

This super 8 was odd. The room seemed as if anyone could walk in and the door in the back of the hotel did not lock. There were no incidents, but it seemed sketch. The room itself was fine, but not immaculate. The look made me worry about bed bugs, but it was fine. If all you need is a place to sleep, then it's fine. Breakfast options were minimal and we chose instead to pick up McDonalds.

This is an older property, with some signs of limited maintenance (cracked walls, hasty repairs, a parking lot that could use some TLC), but on the other hand, the room was surprisingly lovely and well cleaned, comfortable, and well provisioned, and the person at the front desk was helpful and efficient. Breakfast looked quite minimal - I was not inspired to try it.

The sheets were clean. The TV worked. Bath tub was disgusting. Not sure if they couldnt get the stains/dirt off the bottem but it was bad. Did not shower there. The only ice machine was broken. Breafast was a joke, unless you wanted dry cereal (out of milk) Other than that i did what it was intended to. Provided a place to sleep for fairly cheap. Reveiws I read had it at 7.8. Me, a 4 tops.

This place was terrible considering I paid almost $100 for a night. The room, bathroom, and hallways in the building had an unpleasant smell. There was a window unit in the room that couldn't keep up with cooler the room and I don't think they even had air conditioning on the halls, which is probably what attributed to the smell. The ice machine in the lobby was broke. There was no carts to carrying in your luggage. The bathtub was dirty, there was hair in the tub, and mold on the ceiling. Definitely don't recommend this place, especially considering the cost.

It was very clean; but the bed was very hard, making it impossible to sleep. The choices for breakfast were basically 2 kinds of cereal and waffles—not enough choices. Had to use steps to get to your room (not friendly to those with mobility issues). The area was very quiet which was nice. Price was lower than other motels; however, I Seoul’s have been willing to pay more to have good breakfast options and no stairs.
It was very clean; but the bed was very hard, making it impossible to sleep. The choices for breakfast were basically 2 kinds of cereal and waffles—not enough choices. They used a virtual check in. There was no one on the premises. Parking out back was interesting. At any given point in time there were cars there with people in them just sitting there. There was a picnic table, which was nice and a bench for smokers, however it was right next to the door so that was not great for people like me who have asthma.

They were in the middle of updating the facilities. Rooms were getting new fridges. I would stay here again because you can see the improvements.

The room had a funky smell. There were black mold or mildew spots on the shower curtain. The bathroom floor was dirty. The mattress was obviously old with sink spots. The matress was smashed up against the electrical cords making it a fire hazzard.

Area around the hotel was unsafe, had a bad smell, bathroom didn’t look clean, blanket was scratchy, heard guests having sexual intercourse, no actual person at the front desk which is very unprofessional and unsafe.

The hotel was ok for an overnight stay, but the bathroom needed repair. The tub was badly stained and sink caulk was dirty and damaged. On the upside, the large refrigerator was an unexpected plus. Floors were carpeted and it would be better to replace with a hard floor.

No front desk, non working soda machine, scuffs all over walls, rust around bathroom door frame, hair in shower, non repaired drywall patches, loose toilet seat, water spraying out of shower faucet while showering, room smelled very musty, just an overall horrible experience. If I hadn’t driven 12 hours and was exhausted, I would have found other accommodations. Slept in clothes because we questioned the cleanliness.

Difficult to check in. Could not understand the person on the kiosk????????!!! The room smelled, I have allergies had to have windows open to breathe. My husband saw bugs crawling across sill into a home. The shower was slimy, hair dryer was sticky to touch. Needless to say we will not stay at one of these hotels again.

I stayed in a first floor room but those rooms are half way underground. Due to this they have a smell like mold or something that was not pleasant. The hotel is older and everything is dated and has a basic/plain style. The staff was nice and the transaction was effortless.

Not bad, the room was clean. However, the bathroom tub was dirty and there were spots on the curtain. I was constantly woken up throughout the night as I room was just outside the main entrance and people constantly came in slamming it throughout the night.

One star for clean, another for Starbucks across road. The problem is that the room only had very see-through shear curtains. Not only was modesty a problem, the parking lot lights lit up the room so brightly that I had to fashion an eye covering from a handkerchief to sleep. Not recommended at all!

Noisy. Hardly slept. Outlets were loose and phone didn’t charge. Wi-Fi was awful didn’t really work. No coffee in the lobby at 9am. Staff was not too welcoming.

When we arrived the room smelled and the ac unit was not working. We complained immediately. The desk clerk indicated he only had one other room available, but it would be an additional charge. After a few minutes discussing why they would up charge us on the room, he ended up changing our room since he didn’t have anyone to look at the ac unit. In the new room, the unit did blow air, but it did not cool down the room at all. Since there were no other rooms available we tried to sleep. After a few hours, the unit started blowing warm air. It was unbearable! In the morning we noticed the refrigerator was also not working; it was only a few items to throw away, but a waste. When we went down in the morning, the clerk indicated he would make a note of it. Horrible response to the situation after only a few hours of sleep in the heat!

The air conditioner didn't work, it was blowing the fan only. I thought it would get better but it never did. When I booked it said there were only 2 rooms left so I didn't bother trying to change rooms. The carpet felt nasty, needs to be replaced. The bed was not comfortable, pillows needed to be replaced 10yrs ago. The bright spot, the water was hot in the shower.

The property was ok, not fancy but I didn’t expect it to be. However, the check-in was very strange. They have outsourced it to India! There is nobody at the desk. Only a machine with a screen showing a woman who is clearly in India who speaks over an internet connection and is very difficult to understand. The machine requires that you put your ID on a screen to get photographed and then a paper spits out at you that has your room number and check-in/out times. Then another slot spits out your room key card. In the morning another woman was shown on the screen so it’s clear that there is nobody ever at the desk. I was so uncomfortable with it that I won’t stay at Rodeway again.

Cleanliness, etc. Was certainly acceptable but I was surpised to discover there was NO desk clerk on site, only a check-in kiosk and I'm pretty sure the person on the other end of the kiosk was on the other side of the world. There were cameras everywhere but if there was a human on site I never saw them. This was very creepy as a solo female traveleler. I debated whether to even stay but I locked my door, closed the blinds, and stuck it out since the other travelers seemed normal enough. That said, I would NOT stay here again with this arrangement. Too creepy for a solo female traveler!

It worked for a 6 hour stay just to get some sleep. A lamp didn’t work in my room, but honestly my biggest complaint was this automatic check in terminal. It felt unprofessional to not have a person there physically. Sure there was a person on the screen, but i couldn’t understand what she was saying due to the low volume and incredibly loud ice machine next to the kiosk. Not a horrible place to stay, especially just overnight. I’d stay there again, but the kiosk terminal just seemed dismissive and impersonal towards the guests.

Hallway smelled strongly of smoke. No person at front desk—just a kiosk. Full size freezer and refrigerator was a big surprise and certainly a plus.

Stayed overnight during a road trip. The place needs updating, but my room was clean and I slept comfortably. Front desk personnel was nice.

The check in was interesting, because person checking us in was on a computer. Dead bugs were on bathroom floor, but room was ok.

Run down, trash everywhere on the property. Neighborhood did not appear safe. Did accommodate a first floor room upon request, but no king bed. Will not stay here again.

Smelled. Weekly "renters" smoking in the hallway. Unsafe feeling associated with the place. Dirty bathroom. VERY dated. I would reccomend gutting the place and trying it again. $90 paid, left after 10 minutes and went to La Quinta. This hotel is a 1 out of 10 at best. Stay away.

Price was good for my room. Hotel was for sure not the nicest, but met the essentials for me. Location was good and within east walk to wal mart and many restaurants.

The room had stains on the carpet and even the shower curtain. It looks run down/worn out. It did not enjoy the stay. They breakfast was very limited with waffles, yoghurt, and cereal. The coffee creamer was old. I regret this stay.

ad said person on duty 24/7..Nobody! ad said breakfast....No breakfast! TV didnt work, no one answered front desk phone, bed/mattress in terrible condition, needs to be replaced, and room smelled. Needs major freshening!!! Woman in lobby crying (not sure if a scammer ) Would not recommend!

Clean. KS bed was comfortable. TV cable, MW and small fridge in room a plus. Good hot water. Shower good. Small leak in sink faucet. Quiet. Free parking. The decor was a bit dated but everything worked fine. Free coffee and fruit and waffle available for “breakfast”We were a tad disappointed that the ice machine was broken & no elevators to second floor but the price of the price of the room was so reasonable I complain. This was just an overnight stay to rest before another driving day .

This super 8 was odd. The room seemed as if anyone could walk in and the door in the back of the hotel did not lock. There were no incidents, but it seemed sketch. The room itself was fine, but not immaculate. The look made me worry about bed bugs, but it was fine. If all you need is a place to sleep, then it's fine. Breakfast options were minimal and we chose instead to pick up McDonalds.

We were worried because there no cars there but the room was affordable and clean. Service was good. They kind and courteous. Breakfast was cereal and waffles and the coffee was good. Needs some updating but a good stay for passing through.

This motel is not well maintained. Our room was mostly clean. The continental breakfast is the worst I’ve ever seen. The room was dark and we heard a dog barking during the night. The bed was hard. The whole place is shabby. Definitely would not recommend.

It was very clean; but the bed was very hard, making it impossible to sleep. The choices for breakfast were basically 2 kinds of cereal and waffles—not enough choices. Had to use steps to get to your room (not friendly to those with mobility issues). The area was very quiet which was nice. Price was lower than other motels; however, I Seoul’s have been willing to pay more to have good breakfast options and no stairs.

The only complaint I have is that I reserved an "accessible" room with a queen bed. When I arrived, all the rooms were either upstairs or downstairs, there was no actual ground floor, and thus no room was fully ADA accessible. Luckily, I can navigate stairs with my disability, it's just painful. But someone who was wheelchair bound would have needed a refund due to the inaccurate listing.

Difficult to check in. Could not understand the person on the kiosk????????!!! The room smelled, I have allergies had to have windows open to breathe. My husband saw bugs crawling across sill into a home. The shower was slimy, hair dryer was sticky to touch. Needless to say we will not stay at one of these hotels again.

Area around the hotel was unsafe, had a bad smell, bathroom didn’t look clean, blanket was scratchy, heard guests having sexual intercourse, no actual person at the front desk which is very unprofessional and unsafe.
