The shuttle does not work at early hours and they failed to mention that- which was a reason why we stayed there. The elevator said the last inspection was 5 months past due. The room was small and overall not very clean.

The hot breakfast items are overcooked and the laundry facility has two washing machines and dryers however one dryer is non-operative. The front desk also does not provide any quarters. You have to drive somewhere to go get it yourself. Don’t plan on washing your clothes there.

Loved the different options for breakfast compared to alot of other hotels at this price rate. The seasoned home fries were my favorite i had them everyday with breakfast. Staff was all really nice. My first time ever using an airport shuttle service and both drivers to and from airport were both very nice as well!

The airport shuttle was excellent. our flight was delayed so we did not arrive until midnight. Call the front desk and the shuttle was there within miniutes. excellent breakfast.

It was clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was good and the pool nice. I used the small gym and it served its purpose. The hot tub was broken though and I was disappointed about that. All in all I was happy with my stay. It was a good value for the price.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is the staff. They were accomedating and friendly and was the only thing saving this hotel from a 1 star review. After we checked in and got to our room which was a suite, I immediately saw how filthy the room was with stains on the couch and the carpet, cracks where the walls met the ceiling. The balcony door would open, but was broken and was difficult to close. When I went down to the hotel desk and asked for a different room the attendant was very helpful and found us another suite. When we walked into this room it was much of the same with stains, cracks and the broken balcony door, but the thing that made us leave this hotel immediately was the mold in the bathroom along the shower walls. I went to done the hotel desk one last time to ask them to cancel our reservation and requested a refund as the room had mold in the bathroom. The attendant was very empathetic and cancelled our reservation and processed a refund. We are still waiting for the refund and I hope to hear from the property soon to confirm reversing the charge on my card.

It was very old not kept up the wallpaper was killing off the walls there was holes in the wall where you could tell furniture had been mounted at one point that was lines drawn all over carpets were stained and bleached they look like they were maybe 40 years old? The pool used to have like a waterfall is what it looked like That's just barren now it was really disappointing because the lobby was really nice The people who worked there were very nice but I had stabbed by a crackhead written all over it.

My stay was quite unpleasant, the carpet was disgusting and not well vacuumed. I didn’t want to step on it without shoes!! The room was very outdated. To top it off the AC started making a horrible noise in the middle of the night that kept me awake. I didn’t report immediately because I didn’t want to be moved or have someone in my room repairing. It was still cooling, thank heavens!

Awful place! Looks are very deceiving. When you walk in the lobby you think it’s a nice place but then you go to your room. Omg!! We left shortly after checking in! Room was dirty, hallways dirty, back doors going outside didn’t lock so anyone can get in at any time! Room door didn’t close all the way. I felt very unsafe and there was no way I was going to stay there!

Long flight and once in the hotel the toilet had pee spots on the toilet seat and the rim. Was there 3 nights and they only cleaned and made the bed once. Every time I went out I had to have the key redone because it would stop working. Bed was very soft. The last morning there I saw a roach crawling on the bathroom wall.

Unfriendly check in staff. Room carpet is filthy, 9 broken tiles in bathroom, base boards peeling off walls, empty booze bottles left in room behind bed side table. Outside parking lighting is poor, NEVER STAY HERE. What a dump.

Booked a king room. First room we got was a queen bed that was worn so badly that we couldn't even sleep side by side without being forced together. It was super dusty too. Second room was better...bigger bed that wasn't 30 years old and it was clean. We checked in on a Saturday afternoon. Pin Sunday morning around 10am, the maid knocked and came right in as my wife and I were still getting ready for the day. She started ripping the sheets off the bed like we were in the way...too funny. Weird thing is, no one knocked on the door for the next 4 days...no service at all. Finally called down and they finally cleaned the room on Friday. Wow. Anyways, we laid $90/night and I guess that's what we got. We'll spend more for a nicer place next time in El Paso.

Reserved room was for 1 king. The bed was barely a Queen size. They gave me what appeared to be an accessible room (roll in shower, grab bars), however, there was only about 2feet of space to get to the small bed. There is no way that someone with a cane/walker/wheelchair would be able to use this room. All vending/ice machines were missing or not operational.Hotel is in disrepair. Most staff was worthless. However, Aiden (front desk) was friendly and went above/beyond.

Property is showing its age. The room was clean and comfortable but extremely dated and holes were old lights were hung left. It just needs a good renovation to be a top tier again. Staff was nice and professional so no complaints there.

Staff was trying to be accommodating. Breakfast was ok, Breakfast area always clean. Rest of Facility was dirty. Stayed there for 7 nights. When we got there, room was not vacuumed from previous guest. After first night, asked for room to be vacuumed, nothing happened. Next day asked again, nothing. Very frustrating. In our time there, Hallways have never been vacuumed. Rooms were outdated but adequate. Why would Wyndham allow this beautiful property to be so run down Shame.

I always stay at Hawthorne because it's so close to the airport and they provide a shuttle. They also have an excellent breakfast and got coffee hours before they serve breakfast. The check in was quick and easy and service is always nice. I recommend this hotel to my family and friends. I look forward to my next visit to El Paso.

He finally was able to find my reservation and he rudely put the paper to sign on the desk and " said sign this". He never told us about the free breakfast, or anything else for that matter. There were teo people checking in after us. Not sure how he treated them but he was super rude to us. His name was Juan , and wr checked the envening of 17th of February 2024.

Clean and quiet rooms. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was well stocked. If you’re flying out of El Paso with an early flight, stay here. Less than 5 minutes to the airport. We left our room at 7:45 and were at the gate by 8:15.

Loved the different options for breakfast compared to alot of other hotels at this price rate. The seasoned home fries were my favorite i had them everyday with breakfast. Staff was all really nice. My first time ever using an airport shuttle service and both drivers to and from airport were both very nice as well!

The hotel provides free breakfast for all the days I was there, as well as simple dinners with some alcoholic beverages on Wednesday and Thursday evenings for social hours. Can’t beat this! Also it has a coin laundry in the building, free shuttle to the airport that’s minutes away, and a simple business area, perfect for me to access my work online. The room and the property interior is pretty clean. The exterior is not bad. Overall it is very adequate for the price and it was a pleasant stay.

The exterior and lobby are attractive and clean...the rooms are not. And I had two of them in one stay! Peeling paint, peeling wallpaper, visible mold. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in ages (and yes, there's some carpet in the bath area and there was hair and a contact lens from a previous guest...) and the hot/cold water are neither hot (sometimes) or cold! Both shower and sink area had air-temp as the cold and my shower had no water pressure and therefore...no shower! One desk rep was helpful but a second one shrugged when I complained. It's a fairly reasonable price and near the airport but not someplace I'd stay again.

Overall, not a bad stay. I agree with the other reviewers when they say that the hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. It is really showing it's age. The wall paper in our room was peeling and the couch was stained. Whenever the air conditioner kicked on, it sounded like an airplane taking off. It worked for a quick one night stop. It worked for our family of 5. The breakfast was good, but late getting set up. We had to wait 20 minutes for milk for the kids and the same with the coffee. They did have a good selection of food once it was all out. It was an OK stay. I don't think we would re-book at this hotel. I think they need to work on upkeep or a remodel.
