Workmen need to clean up as they go

The room was VERY clean and nicely updated. The entire place was quiet. The bed was clean and comfortable. We had the regular king size bed room, and it included a sofa and small ottoman, so it was nice to have a place to sit and watch TV- not having to be on the bed. The coffeemaker has disposable drip trays, which seemed a lot more hygenic. We didn't venture into the pool or exercise room, but peeked in them and seemed nice. From family, we were told the entire place had just underwent renovation- from what we saw, it looks completed and they did a really nice job.

We arrived after the posted check-in time and had to wait 30 minutes for an employee to come to the desk to help. I followed the instructions left on the counter which said to use the phone at the desk to reach an employee but nobody ever answered. I tried calling the hotel and still did not get an answer. I ended up having to contact hotels.com help desk and the agent was finally able to reach an employee who said he had been in the bathroom. Once I checked in, there was no apology for the wait. The “secure” door to the hotel from the parking lot had duct tape over the locking mechanism so the door was NEVER locked. The room was fairly clean but the bedding had lots of stains. The toilet handle did not work properly and you had to mess with it to get it to flush and then to get the water to stop running. The worst part was at 7:10 AM I was in the room by myself (my husband had left for his work event) and two employees barged in my room. They did not knock, they did not identify themselves they just used their key and came in. Once they saw I was in there they left laughing and again no apology. When we did check out the clerk asked if everything was ok and I said actually no and she just chuckled and said “have a good day”. Customer service fail!!

Happy to be Morris to see family, not very happy with motel,we had lots of ants, very noisy,,,hard to get around. Can’t Help they’re getting remodeled, shouldn’t of stayed open while remodeling,the ice machine wasn’t working, elevator wasn’t working properly, got stuck on 2nd floor,our telephones in room were not working

The entry to the hotel is pretty rough, especially since there’s a bar entrance in the lobby frequented by locals. There was nobody in attendance at the front desk when I arrived that evening, and I had to wait quite a long time, including a call on the SERVICE phone which wasn’t answered, for someone to come to check me in. Other than that, however, the room was quite nice, updated and clean. Comfortable bed, nice linens. Breakfast was adequate, nothing special.

I enjoyed my stay, it was clean, i was comfortable,vsmelt nice, had a decent pool, a cool bar. Good price. Good location. Ill be back!

My room was great no complaints but the rest of hotel is under construction. All the carpets ripped up some noise. Plus my reservation stated $63 a night and they charged more. With that mess they should of charged less

The property is showing its age, the parking lot is in rough shape as well. The room was clean, but the shower diverter sent only 50% up to the shower head, and the tub drained so slow that in 5 min I was standing ankle deep in water. The AC worked great, that was critical it was in the mid 90’s, and for my 3 day stay I was working outside. There was a back entrance that should have required a key entry but it didn’t close tight so a level of security was lost. There were cameras everywhere but it might be too late to prevent crime. The attached pub had great food, and it seemed to be a local favorite stop as well. People were friendly. It was priced well for the accommodations and I would stay there again.

I'm not sure how you charge a rate like your nearby competitors and have a construction mess with remodeling going on in adjacent rooms.

We had ants in our room and the comforter and top blanket were dirty and stained. The AC unit was also extremely noisy

Great place, great price, thank you for being affordable and clean. Was better than I expected.

We had to change rooms two times due to ants and air conditioning and dirty bedding in the first room. Then the second room had dirty bedding and air conditioning did not work properly. Toilets were not cleaned well and bath tubs were cracked and dirty. The last room, the air conditioning worked but had to keep it at 62* for it to work. And the bedding was dirty as well as the bed frame. Another bathtub that had a big crack in it.

Convenient location and friendly staff. The outside looks dated but the inside has been updated, painted and was clean.

I stayed here 2 nights and both rooms had tiny ants everywhere. I went to the front desk and switched rooms. Same problem. They should issue a can of Raid with every room.

Stayed here before. Pleasant staff and a good value. Comfortable and quiet.

We were given a very quiet room and it is very much appreciated. It would have been nice to have a sink that drained properly, but the the room was spacious and clean.

The room was clean, but the shower diverter sent only 50% up to the shower head, and the tub drained so slow that in 5 min I was standing ankle deep in water. The AC worked great, that was critical it was in the mid 90’s, and for my 3 day stay I was working outside. There was a back entrance that should have required a key entry but it didn’t close tight so a level of security was lost. There were cameras everywhere but it might be too late to prevent crime. The attached pub had great food, and it seemed to be a local favorite stop as well. People were friendly. It was priced well for the accommodations and I would stay there again.

There was no staff at the front desk. I rang the brlll and nobody anywhere in sight. No cable, terrible internet and no staff to help with anything

we got there and the RUDE,NASTY person at the desk said we didn't have a reservation and just gave us a dirty look ' Ask if she had a bathroom we could use she yelled NO. So here I'm in morris and no place to stay. Good thing Hoilday Inn had a room for us, I will never stay at a Quailty Inn

This was in the perfect spot for our ride on the I & M canal. It was close to restaurants and a movie theater.

It's in a great location off of Rts. 80 and 47. It was quiet and the room was clean. The bedding was very comfortable. The only negative was a slow tub drain. One of my peeves...

Solid place . Had a pub attached. Out dated but clean. Best hot water and water pressure I’ve ever encountered. Decent price for Chicago area . I’d make it my go to while traveling east coast to west.( every 4-6 months) Decent breakfast . yah I liked this place

The place is very old and dirty the keys card they give you it stops working after couple of hours and will not work again no matter how many times the fix And they said they have a breakfast which it’s the biggest lie since it’s a cold coffee and cereal that’s the bull the give the people after paying so much My advice go somewhere else it’s a scam place Trust me

Forget about the picture showing a sitting area near the desk, this is actually the breakfast area. It consists of four small tables with thirteen chairs. DON'T drink the coffee! there is one waffle maker, some fresh fruit, and packaged muffins. the cooler offers juice, packaged microwaveable sandwiches and milk for the dry cereal. I'm allergic to eggs and diabetic. No good choices for me.
