If you’re looking for a hotel with a hot tub, keep looking. We booked this hotel specifically because the pictures show a pool and hot tub, once we checked in and headed to the pool, the hot tub has been filled in. We were quite disappointed!!

We stayed for the races this weekend and found this to be a great hotel. Nice, clean, and quiet. The pool was great and the breakfast was also great! Overall great stay!

The hotel is old, but updated decently. The pool has “hours” even though there is no attendant they wouldn’t let my kids swim before 9am. We didn’t understand why, it wouldn’t effect anyone or anything else. The pool area needs some sound absorbing material because echo is terrible. This is not a super nice place but it’s an ok place.

Pool had excess sand and stained in scrape marks at the bottom making it look dirty. Food was ok and daytime front desk personnel was friendly. The cleanup crew and nighttime front desk personnel were not though. House keeping actually came into our room before check out and with the DND sign on the door knob. My daughter was using the toilet with the bathroom door open when they entered. Luckily my wife was a couple of feet from the door and was able to stop them from fully entering and seeing my daughter in disposed.

It was a safe place to sleep, however the room was not clean. Sure, the sheets and bedding were changed, but the room itself was dirty. The air conditioner had a bad smell, baseboards and food were gross, and the bathroom still had hairs in it and the toilet wasn’t clean. I had to wipe down all surfaces myself and the cloth was so dirty after. The properly seems worn down and could use some renovating. There were also some gnats and spiders in the room, but no bedbugs, so that’s a plus. The noise level was good, and the area seemed safe. I don’t think I would stay again because of the cleanliness, I felt like I couldn’t fully relax.

We stayed june 20th 2025 and checked out june 21,2025. We stayed in room 219 and we woke up the next morning with bed bug bites on our face and arm. My son slept in the bed next to window and has 0 bites.

The staff/owners were very nice, the place was quiet! there is evidence there is recent work to keep the place up, but the rooms are a bit dated and my only real complaint, its too expensive for a hotel along the interstate in a smaller town.... $130 for a room- this should be $79 or $89 and then its a perfect fit.

Disappointed in Orbitz. I Prepaid for this reservation and when we arrived the Best Western agent told us "the Orbitz (Expedia) credit card has been declined"although we were charged and pre paid for room the Agent told us she "had to cancel and rebook us" until I could get the Orbitz/Expedia credit card to clear.

I was very uncomfortable with how the male staff treated the female staff. The female staff member was trying to help with a situation with my reservation the male manager came in, shushed the female employee when she tried to help, it was really unprofessional and I felt horrible for her, she was the only person actually helping the situation and her boss just came in, made a mess and treated his staff poorly.

They screwed my reservation so I took it in stride and offered to pay for an upgrade to what I originally had reserved. The night manager/ housekeeper say she couldn't upgrade reservations mass by Expedia even though I was willing to pay cash for the difference. The room I had asked for was available and the hotel was less than half full. The breakfast sucked with powdered eggs and a faulty waffle maker. Bad bacon.

From beginning to end. Was greeted by a robot-like front desk clerk. She did her job checking me in but I didn't feel welcome. The room was 1st floor east facing a farm field. Had a nice sunrise. The room was clean. Had the usual setup. The king bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. I actually had a great sleep. Other guests were quiet, fortunately. Had what might have been a 36" inch TV? Clear channels. Decent selection. Had a nice hot shower. The area seemed safe and has places to eat, get coffee, gas and a Walmart. The hot tub was not operational so I didn't even bother with the pool . The biggest let down at this place was the disgusting breakfast. Bagels were literally hard as a rock. The pastries were past the best before date and the coffee sucked. I didn't even chance an attempt at the eggs and biscuits and gravy. Luckily there is a Dunkin'Donuts across the street. The area is convenient right off the interstate. If I was passing by again I would stay, but knowing I would be getting breakfast somewhere else.

Pontiac is a quaint historic Route 66 town. Lots of restaurants, variety of downtown shops, museums and walkable areas. Enjoy!

I have stayed at rhis property a number of times and it's always a pleasant stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, the building is clean, and the property is in an easy-to-find location. My only complaint is the coffee could be much hotter. It most always is luke warm.

Well appointed quiet room which served well as our base for a couple of days. Nice breakfast. Workout room was good. Internet was great. Cute town.

I was so tired when I got here, so I appreciated the fast check in. I took a shower, watched a little TV and fell straight to sleep. The hotel is a little outdated and a bit pricey. The breakfast area was not packed and they had plenty of food. I will definitely stay here again.

Check in was great, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast area is small with a somewhat limited selection. Overall this hotel is a good choice for a quick overnight stay.

They screwed my reservation so I took it in stride and offered to pay for an upgrade to what I originally had reserved. The night manager/ housekeeper say she couldn't upgrade reservations mass by Expedia even though I was willing to pay cash for the difference. The room I had asked for was available and the hotel was less than half full. The breakfast sucked with powdered eggs and a faulty waffle maker. Bad bacon.

We were so delighted with our stay! We had an accessible room for my husband, it had everything we needed. Staff was so accommodating! Room was very clean, pillows and bed mattress were soooooo comfortable, for a great night sleep! We’ll be back!

Facilities all functional plenty of hot water and hot food no issues we got the room with jacuzzi for a change worked fine plenty of of hot water breakfast was great plenty of of food items to choose from the waffle gridyis on the other side so a lot of people missed the waffles Plenty of bread and omelette with cheese and sausage patty make your own sandwiches Worth the stay! the only issue is Expedia has an issue paying best western don’t know the politics but we had to cancel our reservation and Start over got the same price, that was the only issue.
