Nice room, comfortable bed, icy cold air! Very nice outdoor swimming pool. Coffee good, breakfast ok but no egg/sausage option, just waffles, cereal etc. Staff is attentive. Great deal for the money!

Hotel is under remodel and we get that. However to get to our room we had to walk past the hallways that are filled with construction. That was after we were never told how to get to our second story room. We went up stairs from the lobby could not find our room for the clerk to tell us oh sorry you have to go all the way down the first floor hallway because the second floors are not all connected. No elevators as well. Went to the pool. Pool was absolutely filthy. Not sure the last time it was cleaned. There was shredded babys poop super pieces all over the pool deck . Woman's fake eyelashes. I spent an hour skimming the pool before I would get in. That is how filthy it was. Hotel room had a punch hole in the bathroom door. Beds were flat and stiff. And ac was on the lowest setting and yet the room was never cold.

First, there was no elevator to the 2nd floor, 3 girls packed for a weekend and couldn’t use the cart available and we had to carry everything up to the second floor. Room definitely wreaked of cigarette smoke! The yup did not drain, water was up to the first girl’s ankles after 20 minutes, the next day water was up to the 2nd girls knee caps!We had to open the window immediately. Overall the beds were comfy and clean and firm! Staff was no where in sight to get extra toilet paper or towels. But the price for the occasion was worth it.

We didn't have breakfast so can't speak to that. Parking was excellent, the room was ok. Relatively clean, not enough towels, not enough paper products (kleenex and tp), and the toiletries were close to empty and the bath soap was barely useable. It was perfectly located to our activities and relatively quiet. It was inexpensive, so we got what we paid for.

It was an ok stay. Seemed to be part of the original hotel so dated and minor maintenance things. Brought it up to the desk when leaving and they were quite pleasant about it snd no doubts itvwas taken care of. Nice to know there is a pet friendly place near our daughters place.

At check in asked about the pool and he said it is closed for now. We were really disappointed because we had our niece with us and that's one of the reasons we booked there. They said since we booked thu z third party they didn't have that info, but at their own website it was listed that the pool was closed. That was are only disappointment. Otherwise, clean hotel that offers a Continental breakfast in am included.

The location of this hotel is good but it needs some work. Had an issue at check in time. Part of my group arrived before me and were given a room that wasnt cleaned. When I arrived later we were also given a room that wasnt cleaned. They were quick to assign a different room but it seems bad that we both received dirty rooms. The second room they gave us was fine except there was no lense in the door peep hole.

The picture you show of the lobby might be the hotels dream. I had nothing but problems. The room was old, filthy and the shower didn't work. Nor the hot tub but i didn't care about that. The screen outside the window was torn and flapped all night. It was one thing after the next and I left early the next day. Unbelievably bad.

Hotel was just what we needed. A place to sleep for one night. Considering the prices in the area, it was exactly what we expected. The property is starting to look a little dated, but still clean and comfortable. The walls/door is not very sound proof. People were standing in the hall talking early in the morning, and we could hear it loud and clear. Breakfast was a continental breakfast (cereal, bread/bagel, waffle maker, yogurt, milk, juice, coffee). So, if you need meat/protein or sugar-free options in the morning, expect to go find food elsewhere. Overall, good for somewhere safe to sleep in the St. Charles area.

I set the temp to 60 and the air barely ran and the room remained hot. I ended up requesting a fan for the 2nd night to be able to sleep. They said the air was working fine as it eould kick on for a out 3 minutes and shut off before cool.

This hotel is what you would expect for the price. It's in town right on Il 64, so good access to nearby main roads. Be aware it's a 2 floor property and there are no public elevators. It's not what I'd call a newer hotel, but appears to be decently maintained.

Room was comfortable. Shower drained too slow, so you were standing in 6" of water when done. Wifi only worked reliably in the morning. Both of my devices couldn't connect in the evening due to "failed to retrieve IP" error messages. People knocking on my room window at night kept me up.

Unfortunately we ended up not staying here. After check in we drove around to the entry where our room was closest to. There were several groups of people in camping chairs hanging out in the parking lot. The room itself was clean, but old and warn down. We then remembered to relay we had a service animal. I called the front desk, where we were told we had to move rooms. We were on a tight schedule so I had planned to just swap out the keys with the front desk. I was then told at the desk that they were making a note on our file about having a ‘pet’ and I would need to talk to the supervisor in the morning before leaving. I was told we would be getting a pet fee and that was the reason we needed to speak to the supervisor. I relayed, again, that we had a service animal and not a pet. This became an issue to the point where we no longer felt comfortable staying. If you have a service animal, don’t bother trying this place.

Did not like not being able to leave the hotel earlier than expected. Forced to stay an extra day. Had to change rooms because our first room was made available to someone else. Very embarrassing to find that your key don’t work.

Great option if you are seeing a show at the Arcada Theatre. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Large parking lot. Restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is great, very modern and clean. The value is excellent. My room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and attentive, the property has lots of parking, and the hotel is close restaurants. It is easy to access downtown St. Charles from the hotel.

The four stars is based on value for the price. For the price it was good! Clean room and comfy bed, although outdated hallways leading to my room. Breakfast was seriously lacking so I only had coffee. It was priced significantly below other area hotels so it was worth it, since sleeping was my priority.

Nice room, comfortable bed, icy cold air! Very nice outdoor swimming pool. Coffee good, breakfast ok but no egg/sausage option, just waffles, cereal etc. Staff is attentive. Great deal for the money!

The customer service was great. The room was spacious but was not perfectlly clean. Breakfast was 7/10 they did not have any egg or other protein. Only waffles, fruit, cereal, bagels and coffee.

Great value hotel. Clean, quiet, with friendly staff. Restaurants nearby, including Colonial Cafe across the (busy) road. Short drive to downtown St Charles. Easy parking. Good breakfast.

I was greeted by a very friendly man and given instructions on how to get to the room. The building seemed a little old, but well maintained. It was quiet and I was left alone. The breakfast was a waffle maker, muffins, bagels, toast, yogurt and cereal. It was great for the price.

They do Not have a real breakfast perse. It’s more like a continental breakfast other than the fact that they had waffles. No eggs, no meat. So when they say they have breakfast, it is limited.

Easy check in, hotel convenient to get to. There is a good family restaurant across the street. Room was clean. Breakfast is very basic cold cereals, bagels/toast, yogurt and waffles. Beds are rock hard though and we all woke up with very sore backs.

We stayed for 6 days but they didn't clean the room until the 4th day. There were only very barely any shampoo and body wash in the wall mount bottles when we checked in, also, the Kleenex box only had 4 sheets in it when we checked in the room. Holes on bedsheets and the armrest of the sofa. The TV wasn't working but we didn't know until our 3rd day staying; called the staff and she came replaced the TV box. There was a microwave in the room, but it wasn't plugged in. Since the wall outlet was fully used by the TV and fridge so we needed to crawl on the dirty carpeting floor and behind the mini fridge for the wire and plugged it into the outlet behind the desk instead. Our hotel costs included breakfast which served the same choices of muffin, bread, bagel and waffle, coffee/tea, yogurt, fresh apples, oranges and a few bananas, apple & orange juices every day. We were told the owner is vegetarian and she also doesn't eat eggs, therefore; no eggs or meet items were served. Wow I guess the room guests have to be vegetarian too!! I will not recommend this hotel.

Staff was super slow at check-in, took almost thirty minutes. Room was dirty. Fan rattled all night. Everything was just “okay”. You get what you pay for i guess. Not very “quality” though.

Stayed overnight and didn’t utilize the amenities. The hotel is very outdated and in desperate need of attention. Weird smells, dingy rooms, and the parking lot could stand to be cleaned. Condom wrappers by the door. The water in the shower stayed hot and had good pressure, and it was a place to sleep.

Our family booked 4 rooms on a Saturday night. One of the rooms had a completely inoperable shower, with water squirting all over the ceiling only. Another room had a hole in the shower wall. My daughter was given a room key and upon opening the room found luggage and other personal items belonging to the person who rented the room. The guest was not in the room at the time. Thankfully the kind person at the desk gave her the last room they had. Rooms are a bit dated and need fresh carpet and curtains. Rooms smelled a bit perfumy, which I can usually tell is used to cover up odors, but didn’t smell any mold or other nasty smell behind it. We didn’t visit the breakfast offered, so can’t comment on that.
