The hotel is showing its age. The parking lot was spacious but very pitted which made it hard to roll my bag. The room was a bit small. There was a chair which didn't fit in the side they put it since it was right in front of the AC. So it sat at a weird angle. It would have had more space without the chair. Due to the age of the property, there were limited plugs around the room. There was a power strip next to the desk. There were no face cloths to use in the shower.

Unfortunately I did not expect to pay 17$ a Night for parking as we were there Guest. We had two Cars so if that was made clear, we would have only driven One Car to Hotel. I also got stuck in the Elevator Friday Morning! Started taking th Stairs. 54.00 for two Breakfast Orders was Outrageous! Mistake going there!

The airport shuttle was the main reason you are getting a poor rating plus the emotionless young lady at the check in desk. We were a party of 3 and we arrived at 7:25pm at the O'Hare Airport designated pickup location for shuttle service for the numerous local hotels. We had many hotel's shuttle buses/vans stop and pick up passengers and were anxious for 7:45 to get picked up to get out of the windy cold weather. Well 7:45 came and went, so we called to see when to expect our ride. We were met with a confusing answer4, but told the van would pick us up soon. At 7:58 I called and asked again and was told our ride would be there by 8:15; never explaining what happened to the 7:45 pickup. At 8:10 another in our group called and were told the shuttle would be there in 3 minutes. Well the driver finally showed up at 8:21 and said we needed to call to get picked up and when in the van he handed me the green printout that gave the shuttle policy, and it says nothing about calling in, but we had called in. If he were my employee, he would be fired for his attitude and unfriendly service. The young lady we had talked to was very unfriendly and seemed put off when we were checking in. she gve us rooms on separate floors, and my room, #241 was about as far away from the reception elevator as possible. when asked to put us on the same floor, she said the other rooms were not made up and therefore, not available. The morning front desk receptionist was fabulous and personable.

Waited an hour for a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Finally got a person on the phone who said there was no shuttle available that day! No breakfast, elevator service one day because of electrical issues for the hotel. Guests had to carry luggage down 6 flights and had trouble checking out.

Waited for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel for an hour. Had to take an Uber to the hotel $15.00 2 miles away. When I arrived there was a shuttle bus sitting there not running with no driver. We went through 5 cycles of other hotel chains shuttles. Late for my meetings. Not good!

This hotel was filthy. Hair in the bathroom with stuck on gum on the floors. There were brown stains all over the sheets. I was also stuck here given a cancelled flight and was hoping for toiletries like any regular hotel but to my surprise the only thing was conditioner, no hand soap, shampoo, body wash. The staff kindly changed me to a new room but this had the exact same issues. DO NOT recommend staying here. Felt gross and did not sleep at all. Can hear people talking and loud bagging all night.

Shower head doesn’t appear to be clean. No microwave or refrigerator in the room. Asked for wake up call, never got it. Do not recommend this hotel.

This property is in serious need of updates both inside and out, and I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for accommodations. The parking lot is full of potholes, and while the lobby appears recently updated, that’s where the improvements stop. Our first room had dirt embedded in the curtains, and on the night of our arrival, my brother found a roach crawling on him. When we reported it to the front desk, the response was surprisingly casual—they simply asked whether we wanted maintenance to come by or to switch rooms. We chose to switch, but the lack of urgency in addressing an issue as serious as roaches was concerning. Although our second room was cleaner, the overall experience left us uneasy and disappointed.

Toilet and bathtub were covered in hair. Door keys kept not working and we had to get new ones twice. The ice machines are not working on most levels. The main elevator was out of order when we arrived. The A/C seemed to not able to keep the room cool once it started warming up outside.

The room was really outdated. The pictures look much nicer. The shuttle drivers were very friendly but that friendliness lacked at the front desk. The hotel is fine for one night between flights but I wouldn’t stay there again for the price.

Compared to our California Sheridan’s this was more of a motel. This hotel was dingy and ran down looking, nothing at all like the pictures. The staff were wonderful and really nice. Never been to a hotel that didn’t have a fridge and microwave. I’m assuming this was a nice place to stay for Chicago standards.

Night staff was lacking in professional manner. Check in desk clerk just handed me the room key. No explanations. I did not have a password for WIFI. Upon arrival at ORD night shuttle bus did not come to pick us up despite my 4 calls to the hotel. Shuttle bus did not show up for 2 timed pick ups. However early morning desk clerk Lisa and shuttle driver was awesome.

I was there for 4 days and not once was my room cleaned. I had piles of trash in my room, requested clean towels twice and never got them, I had to go downstairs myself to get them. I requested my room to be cleaned, was hoping for fresh towels and sheets. The same dirty ones were still on the bed and bathroom floor and the room was never cleaned, the trash still piled in the room with days worth of food in the trash beginning to smell. The building itself had a musky/mildew smell. Minus one male staff that actually helped with the towels, I would not stay there again.

We arrived after a delayed flight, about 2am, and was very impressed by the cheerful and kind woman at the check-in! Especially after a long and stressful day of traveling. However, we asked for a 3:30am wake-up call (yes, only 1.5 hours of sleep!) because we were so tired that I was concerned our phone alarms wouldn't wake us up. Fortunately our phone alarms DID wake us, because we never got the wake-up call!!! That really is pretty terrible -- what if we were completely depending on that for our middle-of-the-night wake-up to catch a plane? Please figure this out!!

The best word is ‘shabby.’ Torn curtains. Old worn rug. No chair in room. When requested (twice) received a banquet chair. Cig bitts everywhere out in front near benches. Weeds everywhere out side. Door to pool and room did not close completely. Restaurant dark and depressing. Requires decaf Four times. Not even ink in the pen in the room. Stains on all lobby chairs. Either close it down or renovate it.

The first room I was in had damp carpet and an off putting smell. An attempt to remedy was made with febreeze by housekeeping. It turned out that there was a leaking faucet that was soaking the toilet paper and tissues. Maintenance came and fixed that. Then when attempting to shower the shower was stuck on scalding hot water. Maintenance asked the front desk to move me rooms at 10:30pm after checking in at 7:00pm. This property is rundown and could use a refresh. The housekeeping staff was one of the redeeming qualities of the stay.

When you make your reservation, you get a note from the manager who greets you when you get to the property. The location is convenient, the room was clean and smelled clean. The bed was comfy. It was great value.

The hotel is very old and I don't believe the rooms have been updated in two decades. The room was basically clean but the carpet was very dirty. The staff was very nice.
