Love the shower head! Garden tub! Pool and spa were awesome

Our stay was just fine, except for two things. First, the caulking in the shower was molding. I know because I have the same problem at home and it doesn't come off no matter how hard you try. But, it could be replaced. Second, I verified online that there was a fitness center. Got up early to get in a workout before hitting the road. Got to the fitness center and it had an out of order sign on the door. Looking into the window, it was LOADED with piles of linens and garbage bags full of more (I presume).

Everything was good the only exception was the hot tub wasnt working

It was nice clean with gym indoor pool and hot tub! Very quiet and relaxing! The pool was a bit chilly!

The room was clean. The pool now closes at 11pm so we enjoyed a little bit of swimming before going to bed.

Beds were comfortable but the breakfast options were terrible. A toaster to warm up prepackaged waffles and a tiny selection of yogurt. With a 2 night stay, housekeeping never touched our rooms and even after asking at the front desk for them to refresh at least our towels while we were gone, even that didn’t happen. Workout room had 2 treadmills (only one worked) and a bike. Bathroom in workout room was not usable as they had it filled with things in storage. Overall poor quality property—would not stay there again.

We booked this because it was dog friendly. When we checked in I was told that dogs were only allowed on the second floor. Then I asked "Where is the elevator?" I was told there was no elevator. I am 74 years old and hauling multiple luggage and bags to the second floor was not easy. I don\'t recommended The Baymont and will avoid them in the future.

was charged twice at check in (i had already been charged by hotels.com) and then when i checked in i was charged again by the hotel for a different amount. i had to have that adjusted by the next employee (that was taken care of pretty quickly, just have to wait god only knows how many days for the bank to release the charges now) there was a family with a very nasty acting kid that ended up screaming profanties at us and no parent coming to take care of him, instead sent more kids to take care of him (yes i know not the hotels fault) the coffee in the morning was god aweful and i am a big coffee drinker, but couldnt because it was so gross. I booked this hotel because of the hot tub and come to find out after check in the hot tup was broken. Theres nothing to do anymore in the area since the outlet mall pretty much is gone except for like 2 stores. I asked for a corporate number just to address that maybe if something isnt working they should put that on their web page and the girl i dont think could understand what i was asking for so i gave up. also the family with the bad kid i found out are kind of regulars there so nothing was going to happen to them and they thought they owned the place telling me i couldnt do stuff or trying to start fights with my grandson who is autistic

We had a great time at our event. However the breakfast was a little lackluster. The choices were picked through and we were there within the first 10 minutes of opening. There was stuff everywhere behind the front desk counter. Personal items, cell phones, vapes. It wasn’t a super professional setting by any means. The decor was better since the last time I stayed at this budget hotel, however the pool was cloudy and all the entry ways smell like cigarettes because they have long term construction workers staying at the hotel. When I am in town next year I will pay the slightly higher price to stay elsewhere for better accommodations.

The Fitness area pool we’re all great options as far as the amenities is concerned, the food layout for the breakfast was great

The room was huge and very clean

It seemed they were cutting corners on staff, and the cleanliness was suffering. My sheets were dirty. They gladly changed them, but that put me on edge for the rest of the stay.

Room was disgusting. Floor looked like it wasn't vacuumed in months, hair and chemicals all over the whirlpool tub, asked to have it cleaned, next night went to use it and it didn't even work. Nasty dust buildup on the bathroom vent, asked to have it cleaned and they didn't, used napkins under couch and garbage behind tv, asked to have it cleaned and they didn't do it. Finally got moved to a new room the last night of my 3 day stay. That room was amazingly clean compared to the other whirlpool suite. Waiting to see if I get any compensation for the terrible experience.

Room had stains on the bedspread, bugs in the bathroom and no smoke alarm.

The tub did not drain. We traveled with our 16 year. Only one of us was able to shower. Behind nightstand was disgusting. Candy wrappers and dust from 5 years ago. Room door hallow you can hear everything

The room was not cleaned very well. Breakfast was minimal. No hot items. The service was good. Convenient location to good and gas.

The hotel looked newly remodeled and was very clean. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. We had no problems accessing our room and checking out was a breeze.

The comforter on one of the beds appeared to have fecal matter on it. I kept removing the comforter but the cleaning crew kept putting it back on. I have pictures if you need them. The floors and floorboards were dirty and damaged. The shower had spiderwebs. The air conditioning unit was loud and kept turning off and on all night making it impossible to sleep. I won't stay here again.

The bed was comfortable. The air and heat worked good. Liked that curtains went down all the way. Liked the soap, lotion and conditioner. That was a nice touch. Wish the bathroom mold was not there. The tub made loud cracking noises. Was a little scary. Also, it looked like all the mirrors and TV were cleaned with something oily. I took a dry cloth and cleaned them.

Our room was not very clean. The cqrpet had visible white paper or tissue and black unknown material or something on the carpet, showing it had not been vacuumed. The bed had long black hairs in it. The carpet was old and stained. The transition from floor to carpet had grime/dirt buildup. The headboard had visible grease marks on it. The chairs had visible stains. The staff members were kind.

We were by the exterior door so it was a bit noisy off of the bathrooms are way too small

Room was nice size with lot of area and nice amount of sitting area, bathroom rather small. Room was on second floor with no elevator and only ice machine in the building was in middle of first floor, very in convenient for us older people. What I saw that was breakfast cold cereal and toast. Not what I expected from a large chain motel. Probably mark Baymont off list of places to stay

The room was very comfortable. Slept great!

Room was amazing exactly what I expected. I really liked that they had Dove body wash, shampoo, conditioner in pump bottles available in our room.

The staff was excellent. Very pleasant and helpful. The room itself was fine but it was not cleaned once in my 3 night stay. I had to go to the front desk for towels, etc. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and made sleeping very difficult. It was quiet and the shower had hotcwater

Husband and I stayed in the king size Suite which had a personal hot tub. Open concept and very large room which included living room refrigerator and ice box. The room has a balcony that the sliding glass doors open to that overlooks the indoor pool and Community hot tub. Was quiet and peaceful. Will stay again definitely! Well worth the money!

Room awesome!!! Garden tub! Easy access to my room. Free breakfast and pool in door. Dislikes it didn’t have updated plug ins for our phones.

Their Handicap accessible rooms should have 2 beds instead of just one bed.

Our check in person was exceptionally helpful and thorough with instructions and need to know stuff. Nice demeanor.

This is an aging property with a variety of things that are not working properly or broken altogether. When we arrived at the property late, we were told that the online check-in we had taken time to do earlier in the day does not work on their end, and we had to re-check in. We had to give them a $50 deposit for incidentals, and we were told that it might not go back on the card for over a week. The door lock on the room was broken, and the key card didn’t work right. The room had a dirty q-tip on the floor and dirty toilet paper by the toilet in the bathroom. We asked for a rollaway bed (the website said they have them available), but they said they don’t have them. The beds were comfortable, and that’s the one positive I have. We used the laundry to wash my child’s sports uniform, but the charge counter didn’t work, and we had to spend way more than it stated on the machine. The breakfast in the morning was either yogurt or frozen waffles in a box in the freezer. When I reviewed the property internally for Baymont, the response came from a Super8 account email and said “We will work on these things.”

Amazing!! Loved our stay here. Little ones loved the pool And the breakfast (and they hate everything!) Great experience!! Plan to be in this area again soon. Will def book here. Great staff! Easy check in and out

The charged $50 security deposit without a notice or permission. I had a reservation through the Expedia and it didn't mentioned the security deposit. Also, they didn't refund my $50 yet.

The lady at the front desk was very rude and not friendly to me or my fiancé

Well maintained property, close to store and food.

This hotel was completely ideal for our needs. We were visiting other local area attractions, but this was centrally located to it all. The service was excellent, the room very clean. The pool was open and looked very inviting. Plenty of food and fuel options nearby. Light, typical continental breakfast. Items were individually packaged, for safety purposes. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean room and comfortable beds. Staff at front desk was friendly. Breakfast was not great, but there is a McDonald's across the street.

Easy access.

Great out of the way place to stay when visiting UIUC! Highly recommend going to Champaign for activities and meals because, it is located in a small town with a closed down mall that lacks any night life or restaurants besides a McDonald's a gas station and maybe some other fast food chain/chains. But does have a grocery store all in walking distance.

Decent for an “Inn” and price point. 20 mins drive to Champaign. Area not serviced by Uber/Lyft/transportation.

Nice service and location. It would have been nice to know at the time of booking that there was a $50 charge for my little dog. My room was comfortable but had not been vacuumed before I checked in. I would stay here again.

Room was clean, it was quiet and good location.

It was a road trip stop for the night Hotel was clean, staff friendly, bed comfortable.

We were very disappointed in the cold breakfast.

This was an older building. No elevator ( which was not a problem for me ) free breakfast could have offered a little more only muffins, frozen waffles and cereal .

It's a solid place to sleep with an acceptable mattress comfort level. The room isn't anything spectacular however it did the job for a 2 night stay while visiting family in Illinois from Texas. The breakfast was minimal with frozen items such as waffles and french toast that you have to microwave yourself. The only real complaint that I have is that they do not stock hand soap in the hotel rooms. They use body wash as a hand soap.

Breakfast was less than satisfactory, table in Room 103 was wobbly with loose legs. Had stayed before and this time was way less than what I would refer to as good. When I arrived at check in, there was a pile of towels on a table in the lobby waiting to be folded, etc. Not exactly what I was expecting upon arrival.

Breakfast almost non exist I consider breakfast to include hot food no just cereal, toast and prepackaged sweet rolls. I found hair in the bathroom (Not mine) I killed two spiders and behind the night stand there were accumulated dust and debris. Need better breakfast. Bring back the make your own waffles! TV remote didn't work at all. Lucky if you could turn it on, let alone change channels or volume. Asked front desk one night about it. Was told not sure what to do they said must be something with sensor. Next morning asked for new batteries got them and it didn't fix anything. Was there for kids basketball tournament. Stayed at this hotel for quite a few years now. Years past were much better. Definitely need better breakfast selection for price of rooms

Fine for the cost. Very limited breakfast options.
