Best Western Fort Wayne Inn & Suites North

The room smell and the bedding was all wrinkle and 1 bedding had hair in the bed. I told the clerk. The bathroom counter was not clean. Nothing was done to eliminate the problem. My family and I were not going to stay in that room. We checked out of the hotel.

I got a room for the night w the intention to get my daughter ready for her cheer competition. Our room wasn’t ready until almost 2 hours after check in time. I had to have her get dressed in the restroom & start her hair in the breakfast area. The lighting in the whole entire place is awful. I had trouble seeing to do her hair, makeup, and my own makeup. I got her ready in front of the window & it still wasn’t that bright in the room. We will NEVER stay there again. We’re in town a lot bc my husband’s base is there but, never again!

Breakfast was great and all employees including Deb at the breakfast stand was amazing.

Staff were not engaged or friendly at all upon arrival. Every time I passed the counter, whatever employee was there was just staring at their phone. The pool was small and quickly crowded. There was trash that was never picked up off the table in the smoking area. I actually eneded up going over there and cleaning it up the next morning when I noticed it was still there. The AC in our room did not work and our room got up to about 80 degrees. Luckily, we were able to open the window to cool off and air out the room. There were glass rings on the tables from drinks from the prior renters. To top it all off, the tub took hours to drain after showering, which also had very poor water pressure. Almost forgot to mention that the yogurt machine was dirty and had a bunch of ants on it, all while the food prep lady sat talking loudly with a group next to her tip container. I dont usually leave such honest reviews, but I was very disappointed in the experience here. I do want to mention that I have stayed at quite a few BW hotels over the years and this was my first poor experience. I am hoping it is just this one location.

Room very clean. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good, we did not use the work out room or the pool. However areas also looked very clean.
