Room was clean, beds was comfortable, friendly staff. The breakfast was not good day one the sausage was way over done at 6:30am day two at 6:30am biscuits was hard as hockey puck. Don’t try to swim unless you want to freeze. Pool was like ice water.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times before because it is set back away from traffic and is quiet. It is not overcrowded and the beds are comfortable. My experience, this time around, was awful. I came in town with enough time to freshen up before heading out to a funeral visitation. No one was at the front desk. I rang their (very loud) bell several times. Nothing. I called the front desk. Nothing. 30 minutes later, someone walked in the front door to do their job. This is completely unacceptable. That front desk should be manned at all times. I tried calling Hotels.com (booked through them) and they simply told me that they were having issues and they would call me back. I cannot tell you how frustrated I was as was the couple standing behind me. Never again!

Our room had no soap, shampoo, etc. even for the sink. The carpet was wet around the refrigerator. I texted the number that reached out to say they could assist with anything. I told them about the soap and asked where the ice machine was and it took 8 hours to receive a reply. The reply was “ICE MACHINE IS ON THE GROUND FLOOR”. Lots of tiny flying bugs in the room this morning.

Hotel was supposed to be non smoking, but our room was definitely smoked in. The staff did move us to another room. The breakfast was weak. Low amount of most items.
