Updated rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had an above average selection of hot items and fresh fruit. Pool is nice. Our bed in the suite was incredibly comfortable. The suite was spacious and had everything we needed for a great stay!

The only good part of this hotel was the housekeeping staff were mostly responsive to our requests. When we arrived there was no water but we weren't told that. The hotel lost power during our stay and they did not communicate with us about it at all. No estimated time of it coming back on, no explanation, nothing. You can feel the spring in the beds, the water pressure was absimal. I've never stayed somewhere that ran out of cold water but several times in the middle of my shower (without touching the knob) the water turned scalding hot. The ice machines weren't working on our floor, the hallways were hot, humid, and have ripped carpet every few steps. They should do a remodel or charge less. We rented out the meeting room and after being ignored for months we finally got ahold of the manager and felt better about everything until the day of, the staff were not prepared, the room was not set up, they did eventually find table cloths, that were all black but different fabrics and all very old and worn, on top of that they gave us the projector with no power cord and shrugged at us when we told them the AC wasn't working and it was sweltering hot in the room. I still haven't gotten a response email from the manager and it's been days at this point. We were looking for a place to stay every year when we visit and this was NOT it. I would highly recommend finding a different hotel.
