Second floor room. No elevator. No help. We’re both in late 70s. Bathroom tub was filthy, television didn’t work, no switch on bedside lamp. Never stay here again.

At first, we didn't have the remote for the TV, but staff found an extra remote. The TV came on for 3 minutes, went off saying there was no signal. We had no TV. The bathtub was lumpy and I had to watch my balance, almost falling. The beds were so hard. There was food splattered on the wall by the table. The room was supposed to be handicapped assessable, but we were on the 2 nd floor, no elevator. We were supposed to get breakfast, went down at 8:30, there was nothing left. There was no USB ports to charge our phones. We had to go to the store, buy a charger that we could plug into the wall. We kept having to take the toilet lid off because the plunger chain was too long and we had close the flap every time we had to go to the bathroom.

Let me start by saying there are not too many quality hotels in this area, at this price point, that offer convenience, safety, comfort, a satisfying free breakfast, and a good atmosphere. This hotel lacks some of those key qualities. The staff worked really hard to care for my needs. However, this is just an old and outdated facility, and it shows its age. This is especially true when compared to the newly constructed Holiday Inn Express across the street (which, in fairness, is not at the same price point as this hotel). Cons: -breakfast lacked options; no fresh fruit, no variety of juices, only one entree (omelet) -the smell of curry hits you as soon as you open the front door -no elevator (good luck if you're on the second floor with lots of bags) -parking area not well lit (I parked at the Holiday Inn) -pool area closed -vehicle noise (right next to the Kansas Turnpike) -vending machines were essentially empty Pros: -the staff worked hard to care for my needs -some reviews spoke about noisy guests; I did not experience that during my weekend stay -room was clean; no insect/pest activity detected -right off of the highway -in-room AC worked great; and it was on when I arrived -it's cheap Summary: As much as the staff tried, I cannot recommend this hotel; it's old and lacks key infrastructure. Staff didn’t say much. I was the only one checking in and it took about 15 minutes just to get a key. No elevator and the whole property smelled like curry. The room was relatively clean but the whole place hasn’t had an update in probably 20 years. The bathtub had rusting holes in it that were covered by a bath mat. The ac unit had mildew on it and you could smell it when it came on. The whole area felt sketchy. There were only a few people staying here and they put a guest next to me that was constantly in and out all night with no consideration of noise. I booked it because the previous reviews were positive but I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here unless it’s last resort.

The good: the bathtub and bathroom floor looked very clean. The sheets smelled and looked clean. The bad: the lobby and hallways reeked of stale Indian food. Tacky plastic flowers all over the lobby. The check in desk window was glass covered and there were about twenty printed signs posted all over explaining various stay requirements and other things such as “no pool” (as far as I could tell it was empty). In the shower, there had obviously been numerous curtain rods at various times, and none of the holes had been filled. The first ring/hole of the shower curtain was torn off, and the curtain was a foot too long so you had to stand on it while showering. I tried to solve this by lifting some of the excess fabric off the shower floor after it was wet, which backfired cause that caused a puddle on the bathroom floor. The bedroom carpet was sticky it was so dirty. Our room had a door to the outside and on the inside as well. There was a pile of dead bugs inside the outside door. Gross. this is my own fault cause I spent little time researching and just picked by location. Would have been better to go to the holiday inn across the street.

This was poory ran dirty place. All we wereloo king for was a bed for 7 hours. Tv not working No pillow cases on dirty pillows. She didnt think they changed sheets as kind of soiled with a few hairs. Its not fair when the outside looked ok also front area. But not the room.

The room was very dated & uncomfortable. The bed was sub-par at best & made a huge dip in the middle. The bathroom had mold growing in many areas and the vents were all dirty. The carpet needed a deep cleaning and any repairs that had been made were clearly done with haste & cheap quality work. The “pool” was a disgusting covered pond. I wasn’t expecting one, but the view out the window was this nastiness. The noise from the tollway station and from people upstairs made it nearly impossible to sleep. I don’t know how it has gotten good ratings in the past. The best thing was the cold a/c, but the unit was very loud.

It was deserted when we arrived. We thought it was permanently closed. I saw a light on and went inside. The clerk was laying down on the couch in the lobby. She got up right away, but it looked like she had pajamas on. I was very skeptical about staying there, but I had already paid for the room and we were tired. We went to the room. The chair and couch were filthy. The chair had the bottom torn off and it was hanging down on the nasty carpet. The rest of the furniture was good quality wood, but needed some TLC. I kept wondering why there were no other guests present. A few others showed up later. This hotel is dilapidated. The next morning, we went to breakfast. No one was at the desk nor in the breakfast room. I was going to use the restroom in the lobby, but the trash can was overflowing, and the toilet had yellow stains on the seat. I left very quickly. I will never stay there again.

This room was gross. Beds had blood stains all over the mattresses. The microwave was placed in a tall shelf where it didn’t reach the plug in, in order to use it it had to be moved to the floor. The TV was also unplugged. When I first walked in, 3 staff walked by me at the front desk and after finally getting I hung the bell twice, someone finally helped me. They did not greet me nor were they friendly at all. In fact they continued having a conversation in Spanish and looking at me, I’m assuming they were talking about me. We went to get breakfast in the morning and there was waffle batter in the container but the waffle iron was broken. No out of order sign was there so we assumed it worked and found out it sadly didn’t. It was overall a bad experience and I left as soon as possible in the morning.

This property was a total disaster. Check in was ok, room keys did not work. Toilet ran constantly, AC did not work, dresser drawers rolled open and stayed that way. TV did not work, bed was hard as concrete. Front desk never answered the phone, had to go to the desk and wait for 15-20 minutes for someone to show up. They moved us from a king to 2 queens. Room was better until the smoke alarm went off, ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Told the staff and they said we should have left. Poor customer service and facility is not maintained at all!!

The room was worn down and needs renovation. Our phone cord didn't attach to the phone, the remote was broken, our bath tub had chunks missing with stains in it, and the toilet ran throughout the night. Almost nothing with our room was functional, and the furniture was dated including the beds.

This property is very clean and the staff work hard to make your stay pleasant. This is an old property with some maintenance issues but the staff switched our rooms right away when we had trouble. The room we ended up in was great. The beds were firm and very comfortable. The lobby smelled of spices.

The room was very dated & uncomfortable. The bed was sub-par at best & made a huge dip in the middle. The bathroom had mold growing in many areas and the vents were all dirty. The carpet needed a deep cleaning and any repairs that had been made were clearly done with haste & cheap quality work. The “pool” was a disgusting covered pond. I wasn’t expecting one, but the view out the window was this nastiness. The noise from the tollway station and from people upstairs made it nearly impossible to sleep. I don’t know how it has gotten good ratings in the past. The best thing was the cold a/c, but the unit was very loud.

We enjoyed this Days Inn because it was clean and every-thing worked! (That's novel in this day and age!) Our particular room did not have a hair dryer, though. But it was so nice in every other way. The highway traffic bothered me some, but my wife slept like a log once fans were on!

We could hear the person snoring in the room next to us. The other room we reserved for the night the toilet would run every 20 minutes. And while i understand hotels constantly change furniture this place had used stained mattress up against the windows that you could see as you walked by to get to your room

This property was a total disaster. Check in was ok, room keys did not work. Toilet ran constantly, AC did not work, dresser drawers rolled open and stayed that way. TV did not work, bed was hard as concrete. Front desk never answered the phone, had to go to the desk and wait for 15-20 minutes for someone to show up. They moved us from a king to 2 queens. Room was better until the smoke alarm went off, ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Told the staff and they said we should have left. Poor customer service and facility is not maintained at all!!

It was late in the evening and my wife wasn't feeling well. Our clerk checked us in quickly and made changes when we asked her for a first floor room. She made sure to point out where to get ice, soft drinks and snacks to make our evening more comfortable. We will stay again.

Check in lady was very rude. You dont get an actual room key. She let us in our room. Room wasn't very clean. Definitely not a place I would recommend or stay at again.

The room was relatively clean but the whole place hasn’t had an update in probably 20 years. The bathtub had rusting holes in it that were covered by a bath mat. The ac unit had mildew on it and you could smell it when it came on. The whole area felt sketchy. There were only a few people staying here and they put a guest next to me that was constantly in and out all night with no consideration of noise. I booked it because the previous reviews were positive but I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here unless it’s last resort.

For the $90 price, it wasn't worth it.

When I was initially given the key card to our room, I was told to make sure that I returned the card in the morning as it was the only card they had for that room—never seen a magnetic key card with a room number on it. It turned out the key card didn't work, so the front desk person had to open the door each time we went in or out with a master key. I should say the room was clean but in need of upkeep (e.g. torn carpet). I won't even talk about the breakfast as I was put off by mould on the muffins. Needless to say, we won't be back.

This hotel lacks some of those key qualities. The staff worked really hard to care for my needs. However, this is just an old and outdated facility, and it shows its age. This is especially true when compared to the newly constructed Holiday Inn Express across the street (which, in fairness, is not at the same price point as this hotel). Cons: -breakfast lacked options; no fresh fruit, no variety of juices, only one entree (omelet) -the smell of curry hits you as soon as you open the front door -no elevator (good luck if you're on the second floor with lots of bags) -parking area not well lit (I parked at the Holiday Inn) -pool area closed -vehicle noise (right next to the Kansas Turnpike) -vending machines were essentially empty Pros: -the staff worked hard to care for my needs -some reviews spoke about noisy guests; I did not experience that during my weekend stay -room was clean; no insect/pest activity detected -right off of the highway -in-room AC worked great; and it was on when I arrived -it's cheap Summary: As much as the staff tried, I cannot recommend this hotel; it's old and lacks key infrastructure. Staff was nice enough. The area isn't terrible but it's not exactly nice. The building looked a little rough on the outside and dingy on the inside. The continental breakfast was exceedingly lacking. The room was ok except for the broken chair that my toddler fell out of and hurt his head and neck. Again the staff was nice enough and offered a refund. Overall, I'm not sure why anyone would pay 100 bucks a night for this particular hotel. Wouldn't ever stay there again

This property is super close to the Kansas Turnpike exit south of town About a 5 min drive to downtown. Nice room, plenty of places adjacent to walk my dog. Clean and quiet if you get a room in front, away from the turnpike.

This hotel is in need of an update. Everything is old and no modern amenities like USB plug-ins. The breakfast is also very poor with your only options of a dry cereal, a waffle maker, and reheated, frozen egg and cheese omelet. I can say it was clean.

Checking in was fine. Night clerk very nice. The room seemed to be clean and linens were fine. The security locks did not work in the room. In morning we went to get breakfast. There were 2 other guests in there. No plates to be found. The cheese omlettes were cold and a note to heat up in microwave. The other guest there knocked on the door to office to ask for plates. An old man that had been waken due to knocking and couldn't understand english answered. He went back in office then came out to look in all cupboards we looked in for plates. At that point we decided to forget the breakfast. There were signs around breakfast room about being kind to employees, disinfect hands before using coffee and juice machines. Then one that said if you dont pay for your bottle of water you will be charged for the whole case! Spelling and grammatical errors. Will never go back.

Room was acceptable but breakfast was not. The only thing actually stocked in the dining area was a little bit of eggs some bread apples the waffle machine and cereal. Juice dispenser has been unoperable for a long time and what appeared to be a gravy dispenser was gross

The receptionist did not know what he was doing he had to get help from another person she was good. The room was ok but smell and the bed cover had holes. The breakfast was just ad bad we had the identical bottle of .ilk and orange juce both days. We left a day early.

The check-in process was fast and easy. The rooms had a refrigerator and microwave, which was appreciated. The beds were decently comfortable as well. However, while the room seemed like it was cleaned, the linens and towels are so worn out they look dirty. One bedsheet had a hole in it. I reserved two rooms, and in both the bathtubs were chipped on the bottom, one way more than the other. In one of them, the faucet was also constantly and steadily leaking all night. If it weren't because all the hotels in the area in my price range seemed to be sold out, we would have left and asked for a refund. Not to mention that when I went to use the bathroom at 1:00 am, there was a BABY GECKO in the bathroom! It ran out and disappeared immediately, and I have no idea where it hid all night, but it gave me the creeps. The hotel is in dire need of an upgrade, at the very least with new, clean linens and working faucets.

It ran out and disappeared immediately, and I have no idea where it hid all night, but it gave me the creeps. The hotel is in dire need of an upgrade, at the very least with new, clean linens and working faucets.
