Great hotel with a superior location for walking around the Old Town area. Saturday morning Farmer's market was right across street with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants within easy walking. Fabulous decor in the hotel, modern motif and incredible water pressure in the shower. Free parking garage for guests.

This was a great place and fun location to walk to restaurants. Steve the bartender was great and had a wealth of interesting history. Only complaint was the workout room. New equipment and a larger space would be beneficial.

Even with the hotel undergoing renovations it was such a great stay! The room was adorable complete with a kitchenette. There was a fantastic little jazz duo that played in the expansive bar area with extra seating away from the music that was great for conversation and room to relax. 10/10 I do plan to come back when I can stay longer.

The happy hour with live jazz was phenomenal. The parking was easy and free. Bartender Tiffany was so friendly and accommodating! Historical hotel comfortable and elegant. .

Hotel parking was an enclosed public parking structure separated by an alley between the hotel and the parking structure. The elevator did not work and the stairway had to be used. Parking for the hotel starts on Level 3 up to the roof on level 5. Secuity was seen in patrolling the parkibg structure. Appeared safe yet take caution at night

Great stay. Local museums/restaurants within walking distance. Room was nice sized and had a mini-kitchenette, full fridge and freezer, cooktop, plates, utensils, dishwasher etc. Workout room, laundry facilities... Perfect!

We found several items up under the bed that basically just shows that they really don’t clean the rooms that well. The showerhead was pretty lousy low water pressure. But the area outside of the hotel in between the garage and the hotel. were several homeless people to the point where my old lady was not comfortable going outside by herself, and there was just trash everywhere on the ground.

When we checked in there was no carts available and that’s to be understood. So we made 3 trips from the car to the room after waiting for quite some time. The burner on the stove didn’t work, the vanity drain didn’t drain. Long hair in the shower. There was hardly anyone staying in the hotel and I am pretty sure we got the worst room in the place. When they know you are using hotels.com they are not very accommodating. We have stayed numerous times at this place and we like the location. I told the front desk clerk our issues and she could have cared less.

Nicely renovated, very spacious rooms, fantastic staff. Our only issue was our room was situated on the 4th floor with a wall shared with the elevator. The rooms are so quiet that the silence is interrupted by the constant moving of the elevator. It frequently woke me up. But if you have a room that isnt by the elevator, then I would imagine it would have been perfect. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay. I'm just a light sleeper.

Clean room, kind staff, neat history, design, architecture. Bed was comfortable. Shower was excellent. Only negative, which is very personal to my tastes, is Old Town is a little noisy. We could hear the cars often, and there was outdoor music every night we were there but one. I don't fault the hotel for that, but it could be a factor if you prefer quiet like I do. Neat place though and definitely nice enough to stay again.

What a great spot. Staff were very nice and welcoming. The room was huge, spotless, and had a a full kitchenette that included a fridge, microwave, cooktop, dishes/pans, and a proper sink. The laundry room was so convenient when my stay changed from 2 days to 6!

Me and my wife sleep hot no I will say this it was well over 90 to 100 degrees there. The ac kept on drying itself to 71 or 72 degrees even though we set it below this temp. They also have rooms that have a motion sensor it in for the ac if you don’t move ever you 6 hours or so it turns itself off. We had room 313 at first and it had one of the thermostat panel that had a motion sensor on. We did get another room 321 and the thermostat kept on resetting itself to 71 or 72. We would go to bed with the ac reading 65 or 66, we would wake up in the middle of then right with the temp in the room set to 71 or 72

Our room was on the first floor with doors that opened to large atrium with a bar. There was a wedding party that was loud until after well after midnight. I understand that we booked an "event hotel" but why not put wedding guests in the rooms closest to the event space and bar?

We were impressed by this hotel overall. The building itself is gorgeous and all of the common areas bright and well appointed. Our room was large and clean. Our only complaint would be the front desk staff. Sasha was dismissive to both my husband and I on multiple occasions when we asked for suggestions, assistance, and during the check out process. Enhanced consierge and overall customer service would compliment this otherwise great hotel.

Booked a king suite thru Expedia. Got checked in and went to the room, and it was double beds and not a suite. Went to the front desk and they said Expedia overbooked and we got downgraded. Thanks for letting us know at check in. Had to fight 30 mins for a refund. That was my stay.

This hotel was perfectly located! The concert that I was going to unfortunately got cancelled but there were so many other options in the area that I didn’t mind. Food, drinks, and art all in a few blocks radius. Best of all the parking situation was amazing, I didn’t have to worry about leaving my car in the car garage and I wasn’t charged a crazy fee! Definitely will be coming back and staying at this hotel!

Food, drinks, and art all in a few blocks radius. Best of all the parking situation was amazing, I didn’t have to worry about leaving my car in the car garage and I wasn’t charged a crazy fee! Definitely will be coming back and staying at this hotel!

This is the second time we've stayed here and it was just as nice this time as last. The hotel has a historic feel and wonderfully well-kept. The staff is friendly and the location is excellent. Great restaurants within walking distance and even a Farmers Market on Saturday.

This was a lovely hotel, very modern and clean with good sized rooms and shower. Plenty of food and drink options nearby, but not completely sure how safe the area is. Also the car park was handy but whilst we were there, someone left a sh!t in the car park lift which was pretty disgusting.

The staff at the hotel from check in, bar, and breakfast buffet were so helpful and friendly. This was a one-night stop for us on a road trip. When possible, we like to stay at a hotel that is not a box brand like Holiday Inn, Hampton, La Quinta. This was much more unique in the Old Town area and walkable to several restaurants. We didn't need a kitchenette, but our room had a fridge, microwave and cooktop. The pillows and bedding were luxe and the bath products were amazing. This was an all around A+.

Loved the location and pleasantly surprised by the room size and ceiling heights. Our room was very clean and enjoyed the live jazz music at night in the lobby with bar drinks.

The happy hour with live jazz was phenomenal. The parking was easy and free. Bartender Tiffany was so friendly and accommodating! Historical hotel comfortable and elegant. .

Loved this hotel! We had family in hospital so just looking for some lodging close by. It’s been renovated with an open indoor atrium and some rooms have balconies that open up to it. Beds were very comfy, location great for several clubs, restaurants, museums and shopping. We are going to go back just to take a mini vacation. Highly recommend! (PS: Just skip the breakfast buffet - $14.95 and just like any other small hotel).

The staff was amazing at the hotel. Theresa and Jenny went out of their way to make sure that mine and my little travel partners needs for Met and they were always available up at the front desk with a smile. Once you step out of the doors from the hotel under the cobblestone sidewalks, all of the shops, restaurants, breweries were great to visit and walk around town to see.

Loved this hotel! It’s beautiful, next door free parking garage. Bathroom was big, good shower pressure. Nothing was going on in Old Town but desk was very helpful finding us an open restaurant.

Great check-in experience; easy to set up late check-in. Hotel is both funky & historic with a gorgeous overlook to the lobby. Exudes a cool vibe. Lots of Saturday night activities within walking distance….. but for breakfast drive yourself to the Doo Dah Diner, you will not regret it. Our room was comfortable with a kitchenette, we also used the self-serve laundry facilities. We stayed in about 5 hotels in Kansas during this trip. This hotel was our fave.
