Outside and the back parking lot to be cleaned up refresh and the pool had dark water was not clear, The back entrance door was not always lock needs to be locked at all times that’s why you have card key for safety anyone can just walk in.

My husband and I chose the Comfort Inn & Suites on Rock Road in Wichita for our family vacation after comparing several hotels. We specifically chose this location because the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub looked like a great feature, the online photos made the hotel appear clean and well-maintained, and the reviews seemed fairly positive. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. As soon as we walked into the lobby, I noticed a sign stating that the pool was under maintenance. I asked the front desk employee how long it would be closed, but she said she couldn't answer that and that the manager wouldn't be available until Wednesday. While we were clearly disappointed, at no point during check-in did anyone tell us the hotel was offering fully refundable cancellations because the pool was unavailable. I didn't learn that was even an option until I spoke with the manager at checkout. Had we been told at check-in, we would have canceled and stayed somewhere else. After leaving the front desk, we stepped onto the elevator and were immediately met with a strong marijuana odor. It wasn't exactly the first impression we expected for a family vacation. The hallway felt damp and humid, and when we entered our room, things didn't improve. The carpet was stained, sticky, and frayed. The couch and chair both had visible stains, and a ceiling tile was bowed downward, making the room feel neglected. My advice is runaway! Don't stay!

The property is in need of some serious updating.

The street people have broken the door latches on many doors into the building and amenities so they can have access whenever.
