Best Western Corbin Inn

We were VERY pleased with the value of this hotel for the price. Our room was newly renovated, with quality finishes and fixtures. It was clean, with laminate flooring and funky artwork. The surrounding area, while located at a busy intersection just off of the interstate, was quiet and safe. We picked up dinner to-go at the Mexican restaurant across the street. We lounged in front of the large smart TV. The air conditioner worked well. We were offered housekeeping between nights. I would definitely stay again. I've spent much more for some truly terrible rooms. I heartily recommend this property.

Some of reviews were not accurate in their praise of the facility. The hotel is very old with the outdoor entries, although very well lighted and safe. The breakfast was not extraordinary as noted but it was very satisfactory. Quite comparable to competing brands. The room was clean in appearance and furniture and bedding were reasonably new. BUT, the staff WAS EXCEPTIONAL as noted. I would stay there again if I were in the area.

The staff was very nice, the breakfast area is very small but nice for the size of the room. We needed a pet friendly hotel, and while there are not a lot of extra amenities we found everything clean and neat.

A hotel employee stole a brand new pair of shoes left at check out and “no one on the staff remembers seeing the shoes”. They were brand new in the box. The hotel staff member Tammy said they did not care if I leave a bad review and that no one stole anything when I know for a fact that they were in the drawer when we left. Hotels.com also did nothing regarding the stolen item. After asking for corporate’s number and being told by Tammy there was no corporate number, I asked for the owner to call me and left my name and phone number. I then found corporate’s number myself and filed a complaint.

Staff was friendly and helpful, Breakfast good, rooms were clean. Nice place to stay.
