Very disappointed your web site said jacuzzi and inside pool the reason that we choose your facility. Upon check in I inquired and was told the jacuzzi has been gone for some time but it is LISTED as an amenity on your website. VERY DISAPPOINTED

The parking lot is not up to snuff. Needs cleanup

This property is kind of out of the way for staying time in BR. So I didn't like that. But it's a nice place to stay. Was hoping the pool would be heated, but the pool looked a little icky, so I opted not to take a swim, it's not heated either.

Description says a HOT TUB. NO HOT TUB ON SITE. INDOOR POOL WATER WAS COLD AS ICE. ROOM SMELLED THE BLEACH SO BAD. OUR EYES WERE BURNING. AC WAS OK.

The hotel and room were immaculate. The staff was really nice. The varieties in breakfast items were appreciated. One of the main reasons we stayed here was the pool and the first night of our stay the water was freezing and the rest of the time it was closed so we were disappointed

The place was very clean, the staff was very nice.I was very DISAPPOINTED,it does not have a hot tub ,which was one of the reasons I chose it . PEOPLE BEAWEAR OF ONLINE RESERVATION

Good area by the mall of Louisiana. But the ad said it hadxa hot tub, but did not. The pool was indoors, unlike most on area,but was not heated and unswimmable. The 3 pieces of fitness equipment did not work properly. The weed smell in the hallway was overwhelming . The room itself was a 4.5 however.

The front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. The maid service was also accommodating. Plenty of on-site parking. Breakfast was great .

Only thing I did not like is on Expedia it is listed to have a hot tub and does not. Which is one of the reasons I booked. So that was disappointing but overall was a nice room!

The room was great. They have an indoor pool but it is not heated. This is not stated in the hotel information and was quite disappointing!

Smell of marijuana in parking lot. Upon entering the front doors, smell of marijuana was overwhelming. Walking down the hallway of the first floor, smell of marijuana. Walking down the second floor hallway, smell of marijuana. Our first room on the first floor smelled like cigarette smoke. Front desk was accommodating and gave us a room on second floor. Beds are small for two people (double beds in the 2 bedroom suites). Every time we had to open the door to leave the room for something, smell of weed was so bad it came into our room. Train horn woke us up at least 4 different times. Place is older and a bit worn down. Really not impressed or pleased with overall condition or the atmosphere for $300 a night. Definitely will not stay here again. And we travel to Baton Rouge quite often.

The staff was pleasant. However the hotel and our room had a distinct odor and our room was humid and the floors and furniture were damp. We had to leave our hotel about two hours after check in because it was not up to standard. We contacted your customer service for a full refund. We booked another hotel under my husbands hotels.com account and encourage someone to please reach out for an update.

When we first arrived a roach was seen in the bathroom, later 2 more were seen. The bathroom only consisted of 1 small towel with 2 of the other towels. When asked to extend my stay, i was told I would have to pay $180 when I didn’t even pay $180 for the first room. The utensils were dirty and the phone didn’t work. The bed was comfortable although upstairs were very loud all night.

The room was smelly and had knits as well as roaches. Customer service was horrible. We told them about the room an nothing was done. We were supposed to stay a week but left after one night.

Neat, clean , smells good

This place was beyond disgusting. When we first checked in, the facility looked somewhat clean. We went to our room and there was a large knife cut in the seat of the couch. We complained to staff and she gave us another room. The second room had a cut in the seat of the couch as well. Third time's a charm, right? Or so we thought. The room was somewhat clean and suitable. We were there for a funeral and flew in from California, so we just wanted to be able to have a decent place while we attend and spend time with family. We stayed in the room, and I woke up to my husband screaming, waking me up that something was crawling on him. There were BED BUGS!!! Yes, you heard me correctly. BED BUGS! we recorded video, immediately called the staff and discarded our clothes (left them right there in that bed! Immediately we went to hotel staff where they were very nonchalant about our findings, even though we showed them a video. We checked out immediately and had to spend half the day looking for another hotel, washing our clothing items and trying our best to disinfect our luggage. (We threw everything away when we returned home so as not to bring anything into our home ). The worst part is it has been more than 2 weeks, and the corporate has not reached out to us regarding our request for additional compensation for having to purge our luggage and clothing and being inconvenienced during such a somber occasion Worst experience ever DO NOT stay at this hotel!

Clean room, staff and convenience

Our stay was amazing! It was nice and clean, nice hot showers with thick fluffy towels and pretty decent coffee. Nice kitchenette with great 2 burner smooth top stove, full size refrigerator, dishes, silverware, coffee mugs, glasses, toaster and 4 cup coffee pot. Great staff there as well! I would like a little better rates but no question, we will be back to stay again. Thanks Town Place Suites!

Our room was clean and nice. The room had plenty of space. Full size refrigerator and burners/stove was a plus. We also appreciated the swivel Tv in our room. The bed was huge king, very comfortable . Our bathroom was also clean. Staff was great and friendly. Breakfast was also good.

Everything was really great--clean, front desk staff was on point, priced excellently. My only issue was that my cell phone only had one bar and my computer would not allow me onto the property internet service so I couldn't work.

Loved the kitchen and I loved the two bedroom only thing was the bigger room didn’t have a tv so it’s two tvs one in living room and in one of the rooms

The suite itself was nice enough, but the other interior parts of the hotel as well as the outside seemed dated. The only real negative was the surrounding area. The hotel is located in a weird twilight-zone area between a large shopping mall, two hospitals, and a housing area that was likely upscale apartments and townhomes in the late 90\'s but now are a bit "blurry around the edges." I ventured out Friday evening at about 10pm and it felt...apocalyptic. Everything was closed at the mall other than restaurants, and they seemed sparsely populated. I drove south on Bluebonnet to Perkins expecting to find an open drug store or grocery store...nope. Everything was shuttered and several had the full roll-down doors over the windows. Not very comforting. Overall, I felt safe when we were in our room, but I was watchful over my small family coming in from the car after dark. The staff was friendly and, other than the interior and the landscaping of the hotel could stand updating, I have no complaints. (Maybe Baton Rouge is what I\'m complaining about? Idk. There is a huge closed restaurant nearby that was named Ralph and Kacoos that was probably a banger about 25 years ago - but empty on a Friday night - right next to an abandoned gas station - is a creepy setting)

The two bedroom suite is comfortable the only thing that I didn’t like is that there was a TV in just one of the bedrooms. Also, the doors did not lock and we couldn’t sleep that night because the people upstairs made a lot of noise which the front desk handled quickly.. the area is safe, across the street from the hospital. The parking lot is ample. I would stay here again..

DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL! They over book them selves and had me no where to go. Then the workers just leave without any solution. This hotel basically stole my money and didn’t give me a room

Property was run down and dirty. Phone lines and internet didn’t work. The room next to us had a loud party slamming doors, playing music, and smoking weed at all hours. We were forced to leave our room in the middle of the night (while traveling with children) because the front desk refused to do anything to fix the problem with our neighbors. So far management has not called us as requested, and the bill they sent claimed we checked out late when we actually left a day early.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and helpful. Our receptionist shared a printed list of restaurants recommended by past guests which turned out to be “spot on”. Our room was quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was very good and a pleasant surprise. The next time we visit Baton Rouge, we will stay here.

The check in was fast and easy. Genesis is always very professional and nice. Our first room had a problem with the heating and she immediately moved us to another room. Each room was clean and well stocked. It was quiet.

It was very clean everyone was nice great place to stay close to the mall. I loved it its like a little apartment full size kitchen. Ive stayed here multiple times and will continue to go back

Nice and quiet time to relax

Hotel was in a convenient location.

The road was closed getting into the property and I spent 2 hours at night trying to find a way to the property. 2 phone calls to the property and they did not even try to give me accurate directions to get to an open road that would access the property! The just said we have no control over the city closing down the street.

The neighborhood was pleasant and quiet Check in was swift and pleasant. It was raining and the clerk offered an umbrella. The breakfast buffet was clean and delicious.

Room was clean. Did not care for breakfast. While the breakfast sandwiches are a great idea. Pre microwaving them and then sitting in a warmer just made the bread/biscuit inedible.

This is a convenient location for my family to hang out to get away. This experience was definitely worst than expected. The staff member on night shift was not at all accommodating. We had to come down several times before breakfast was ready to serve guest. It was advertised that breakfast would be ready at 7:00am. It was not ready. In addition to breakfast being late,the room we used had roaches. The dishwasher is misaligned and broken. I was extremely disappointed with my overall experience here.

Breakfast was awesome with so many options to fit any diet. The staff keep everything hot and fresh. The bed was comfortable but there was not enough space on the left side between the wall and the bed. For me it was not a problem,but someone very large would be tight

I booked through a travel app. When we got to the hotel they asked for credit card - I thought just to verify the payment, but they charged me again. It’s been two weeks and still haven’t gotten the money returned. As a hotel, it was okay. But the breakfast was not good. Premade microwave breakfast sandwich. Often just completely out of things.

Quick trip up for an LSU game. The ladies who work the desk at night were polite and accommodating. Everything we needed for a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was good and included continental breakfast as well as hot items such as scrambled eggs, sausage, grits.

The stay was good. The room was great. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast could have been better. The was nothing really for breakfast, it appeared that the hotel had not restocked breakfast items( e.g., there was 1 of this, 2 of that etc.).

The hotel is older and overall less clean and modern than the pictures make it look. There was a stain on our bed sheets and only 3 small pillows for a king sized bed. The breakfast was terrible unless you want prepackaged foods, with a very small breakfast area. I would’ve expected to pay about half of what I did for this hotel for one night.
