This is a “Double” property if that makes sense. It was originally built as a Holiday Inn. Now it’s the Quality and Clarion (I think). The large original building is the Quality and there is a separate building in the back that’s the “nicer” Clarion Inn. I’ve stayed at this property several times. If all you need is a place to lay your head and take a shower, then I would recommend this property a 8/10 … it’s just a little old, but they keep everything nice and in working order. the property has a very large pool, with plenty of chairs and tables. There are several grills around the property. There is a bar/lounge that looks very nice (I’ve never been in there) and there is a restaurant on location that offers Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner… buffet style as well as a menu. I’ve eaten at the restaurant twice. Once on New Year’s Day (wasn’t impressed) but we had the buffet and it was around 1:30 when we went so I think they were getting ready to close to prepare for Dinner. It wasn’t bad. There wasn’t many choices. The other time, we ordered off the menu and it was delicious!

started off ok saw the front and thought it was ok but the room are located in the back and it is a motel our room smelled like mold and there was mold in the bathroom and to top it off a cockroach in the window so i was suppose to stay for four days but it turned into one night and i was gone the next day and never went back

Passing though and decided to stop and sleep. Very reasonable price and the rooms are very clean. All the staff is extremely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us during a snow storm that was the most snowfall in Louisiana history. Would have made a perfect 5/5 but the rooms heater didn’t work, so we used a portable one they gave us plus one of our own. Overall very happy.

We had to move rooms twice before we found a room with a working air conditioner or that was not on the railroad tracks and a major highway. The staff seemed totally unconcerned until you loudly made your request. Their responses were a sarcastic sorry. I should have asked for a full refund. The rooms were old with a funky odor. I found the staff smoking in the laundry room with the "clean" linens and towels. I felt so unsafe that I was certain I would find my car broken into.

The only thing I didn’t like was in the room. The window didn’t have a blackout curtain. So at night everyone could see into my room with the lamps on and the lights from the walkway shined through the window

If all you need is a place to lay your head and take a shower, then I would recommend this property a 8/10 … it’s just a little old, but they keep everything nice and in working order. the property has a very large pool, with plenty of chairs and tables. There are several grills around the property. There is a bar/lounge that looks very nice (I’ve never been in there) and there is a restaurant on location that offers Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner… buffet style as well as a menu. I’ve eaten at the restaurant twice. Once on New Year’s Day (wasn’t impressed) but we had the buffet and it was around 1:30 when we went so I think they were getting ready to close to prepare for Dinner. It wasn’t bad. There wasn’t many choices. The other time, we ordered off the menu and it was delicious!

This is a “Double” property if that makes sense. It was originally built as a Holiday Inn. Now it’s the Quality and Clarion (I think). The large original building is the Quality and there is a separate building in the back that’s the “nicer” Clarion Inn. I’ve stayed at this property several times. The rooms are okay. This is an old hotel. The rooms carpet needs to be changed and cleaned better but for the money it’s worth it. The beds nice and sheets clean. The resturant staff needs to be nicer. We had 3 people and only comped 2 breakfast vouchers. The one breakfast was $18 and that is ridiculous. Also this is the only hotel i have been that doesn't have complementary coffee. .

My sister and I stayed for a funeral for our nephew. We are both women in our early 20s. I was not told anything about breakfast being included upon checking though it was listed to be included. They told me I could purchase food from the restaurant. The lounge and pool are great, the room was clean. We did have a super rude man, I didn’t get his name. Our room keys deactivated as we were at the pool so we went to the lobby to get keys(still in our swimsuits as our clothes were locked in our room). I didn’t even get to ask for a key before a rude bald man with a mustache told us immediately and firmly we had to exit the lobby immediately and could not be “dressed like that” in the lobby. I tried to explain we just needed our room keys fixed, and he cut me off mid sentence and told us to wait outside for him to bring them to us. We did get the keys and it was fine after that but I will not be returning. He was extremely rude and I feel like it was very disrespectful as we were prepaid guests and needed a simple fix, not to be berated by an old man in front of other guests and restaurant customers about our swimming attire, when we were unable to retrieve our clothing from our room since we needed our keys fixed.
