Garden District Hotel

Hotel was clean and bed was very comfortable . Did not like having windows that looked out to a very public hallway and not to the outside Wish we knew this beforehand as we would have requested a room with a view. .Another issue was that the bar was not available after 7 pm for guests since there were private events and we couldn’t get drinks or food As paying guests we should have had access to the bar snd lobby The pool was very noisy and limited access related to pool being open to the public Loved the location though

Very pretty hotel, nice pool and indoor/outdoor bars. Great neighborhood also. (I used to live there.) Good restaurants within walking distance. A few minor details were missed, like there was no toilet paper in my room when I arrived, and I wasn’t told the WiFi password at check-in so had to ask later. Sound carries in the hallways so it’s not always quiet but there was not late, bothersome noise. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would return.

The hotel had a good vibe overall. When we got there, we wanted to use the pool, but it was very crowded. You can buy day passes so it seems like there was a lot of people not staying at the hotel in the pool. Did not seem like a fun crowd to me. The room was nice, but they have in room air conditioners. We had a loft and had to have the air conditioner, low enough to cool the loft area, which froze us out downstairs. Overall, OK. Would probably go back but just be prepared for a party scene at the pool and bring extra clothes to sleep in.

Great place in a good location and the staff is top notch. Pool is out of this world.

Great location and fantastic pool. Funky and cool. Super convenient to St Charles streetcar and walking to Magazine St.
