Days Inn by Wyndham Rayne/Crowley

No elevator. Dirty and worn down hallways. Bugs and insects in the room and in bathroom. Certainly not a 3 star.

Almost no one was there on a Saturday night. We went in and were given a room on the first floor at the very end of the hall. We went into the room and the bed was made but the sheets and pillowcases under the spread were dirty. I don’t think they were changed. We called front desk for another one and she said we could have a second floor room. As we walked out of our room, three doors around ours were open about 5 inches each (identically). One had an old ugly purse hanging on the knob. All I could think is that those rooms weren’t open 5 minutes before when we walked by. I really got a prostitution vibe from those rooms. We were then on edge and the front desk gave us new keys to a second floor room. I asked where the elevator was and was told there was none. We went to the carpeted stairs and my wife was grossed out over how dirty the stairs were. Also, every desk chair I saw in the place has peeling pleather on it and were severely cut up. Back to the stairs, they were very unclean. Not vacuumed and with stains on them. We then totaled our displeasure and walked out losing almost $100. It was worth losing the money to not stay there. We felt completely unsafe. Wyndham needs to do something. Gives the whole company a bad name.

Some TV 📺 in the rooms were not working. I did have to change rooms. Also they were remodeling different areas at the hotel 🏨

Breakfast is nothing but coffee and muffins. No elevator. Bathrooms ceilings are covered in mold. Carpet is dirty. Room and hallways stink.

We had to cancel at the time we arrived. pool was closed for the season, no breakfast due to renovation. cockroaches running around in the coffee corner… The agent from the chat was to cancel the reservation and refund my money, I am still waiting for the refund!!!! The hotel itself did release the deposit already at the time we left.

Three nights booked that almost became two - not by our choice. Came back to hotel late from funeral on our last night to find our keys no longer unlocked stairway. Got to our room and found beds stripped, a few dirty linens and towels on the floor and no clean towels. My request for help was met with "housekeeping can fix that in the morning". I asked for another cleaned room. I was told that "I was not booked for another night". I explained that we were booked for another night and could provide proof. After two more rooms were offered (broken TV's), I finally was given a working and "clean" room. Rooms were clean but all other corners of this property were surprisingly dirty and run down/damaged inside and out. Tire puncturing debris was scattered in parking lots. I had to watch my step on outside of property to avoid what looked like "pet business" in walkways and around front pillars at entrance. Many half-painted chairs and mess took up some of front lot for entire visit. No breakfast as advertised, only coffee (was good, though!). No room for breakfast if there was any. Dining room had no tables. If it did, they were buried. Dining room was full of personal belongings, tools and a bicycle. Collectively with the combination of clutter, mess and room confusion - this was the worst experience I have had at a "national chain" hotel in all my years of business and personal travel. I will definitely be willing to spend more to stay somewhere else next time in this area. Yuk.

They advertise services that they don't have, they say free breakfast and they don't give you breakfast, they don't have a washer and dryer.

Then location clean, safe and convenient I would rate 5 stars except for: misleading advertising - There was no breakfast. Coffee and juice only. Mold in the corners of the bathroom (otherwise clean). Air vent cover missing in the bathroom.

I stayed approximately 15 minutes and after seeing the roaches and the stained sheets, we immediately left! Now I get to fight for my money back!

Upon entering the building it smelled. Had I not booked on the way to hotel, I would had cancelled upon walking into lobby. Later when we able to go to our rooms after 3, the bathroom was in poor condition. The bottom of the tub was all rusted, hole in the ceiling on top of the tub, rusted toilet paper holder, rusted bathroom door frame. The only new thing they had was the floor. The bed was decent.

First room wasnt ready after we were assigned a room (checked in at 4pm), still had tape from painting, had hole in shower ceiling with serious amount of mold. Second room was on second floor adter talking about having bottom floor due to person with health issues. Hallway stunk cigarettes, staircase landing had rigged up fan/filtration unit of some sort with sub-par wiring. Second room had tape also from painting, filthy shower ceiling, fridge was solid ice on the back wall, counter had burn mark from iron, cracks in sheetrock....too much to list. All discovered about 8pm

Black Mold in bathtub/shower. Hole in wall by bathtub/shower. Black mold around toilet. Broken mirror in bathroom. No hangers.

The smell of marijuana was all over this hotel, there was holes in the ceiling and walls, mold all over, gaps between the ac and the wall where could actually see outside. This place was horrible.

I don’t want to text much don’t do it or do it and see for you’re self dirty sheets dirty bathrooms no heat or cool all I wish is that I saw some reviews before I would have slept better in my car but it was late and I stoped

Pros: Front desk was person was nice. Large room Cons: When I entered my room 105 it was warm and smelt musty. The air conditioner was very loud and took a while for it to cool off the room. I turned on the main ceiling light but it didn't come on immediately. Then it flashed on and off. Not a good sign, could have a short somewhere. I checked the bed and there was a large burn hole in the sheet. You couldn't miss it, but I guess the staff did. I told the front desk about this and had them replace it. The television was not working and I asked if I get a discount. No comment. Also, when I paid for my room my credit card company sent me a statement which stated that I was overcharged $50.00 for the room. When I queried this the front staff she said it was a deposit. Nowhere on the website that I used to book the hotel told me there was a surcharge. Staff said I will get a refund. The coffee maker was missing the attachment for the coffee filter pouch. So no morning coffee in my room. I might stay again if these issues are address and housekeeping does their work.

The first room was substandard, old smell got nose blind but bothered my sinuses the second day. Toilet paper holder rusting. I've never seen that before. I wouldn't put a guest in that room. Second room much better updated with everything in it. Big difference. The lady who fixed the coffee was very nice and the house keepers were great as well. That made the difference. Location is near everything. That's good. And close to the interstat as well.

Most uncomfortable bed and pillows. Hotel is in poor condition - carpet needs replacing; desk chair was peeling; tub, toilet and bathroom doorframe had rust spots. Hairdryer literally sparked and burned out as soon as I turned it on - scared the heck out of me! Iron didn’t work. They had the smallest TV I’ve ever seen in any hotel/motel.

Location near I10 and in general a clean facility. They allowed my dog, costs an extra $15 per night. House keeping was very nice. There have been remodeling done in sleeping area, beds were too high and hard. The bath area, although clean, there was rust on door jamb, the ceiling over the tub had large cracks in ceiling tiles and mold. All in, the stay was quiet, room was clean and tidy. I would stay again.

Every thing was very accommodating. Room was clean. The only thing that I didn’t think was tiptop was the AC unit. It wasn’t too cool in the room. But other than that, everything was wonderful including the staff

Walk in and the room was hot, it took a long time to cool down the room. The refrigerator door is completely broken off. Room was clean

After returning for the day we found our room had been entered even though the do not disturb sign was left on the door. House keeping reset the AC so our room was hot when we returned. On the morning of check out we decided to sleep in. We were woken at 8:00 by housekeeping when they tried to enter our room without knocking.

The listing shows complimentary breakfast. That was a LIE!!! All that was offered was coffee or juice. My room didnt come with a key. They had to let me in the room. And if we left the room we had to be let in by the front desk person.

Worse stay ever first room we got was room 117 and the bathroom was full of black mold we stayed sick with headaches and vomiting. Asked to move rooms and they gave us the run around but finally moved us. Went to pay for another room after i was told the first room was paid for cuz of extra people we had then the manager came tell me i had to pay for both rooms which the first room was alreafy paid for so got into a argument with the manager and he ended slapping my girlfriend and brusing her daughters arm buy grabbing it and throwing her out the way so we called the cops on him.

Refused to stay due to the room being dirty Clerk didn’t even offer another room or to go take a look at it. Filed a complaint with Days Inn Corporate office a plan to file one with local authority in Rayne a Board of Health.

Started with missing fire alarm on ceiling then no shampoo, they said they were out, shows breakfast on reservation, no breakfast, apple juice ran out, 2 days later still out, they said they didnt have any. Poor lady was having to tell us and everbody else, sorry, sorry, sorry. Bad ran hotel, our friend's were at Best Western and had everything there

Room maintenance was lacking, our toilet ran the entire time we were there. In our other room the microwave and coffee maker were both broken. We were in a non smoking area but when you entered the hallway it smelled like an ashtray. Contental breakfast was advertised but there was a sign at the hotel that said it wasnt available.

False advertising of free continental breakfast that we were counting on eating. We saw pictured eggs and more. All they had was sour orange juice and apple juice that ran out. The floors were dirty and so were the towels. We were told that they are remodeling. We will not be staying there ever again.
