In a safe location and parking garage next door with rate of 8 dollars a day for self parking. Room air conditioning was very loud but guess helped drown out any noise at night.

To pay 475$ for 2 nights. I expected a lot nicer room and the pool on the roof was the main reason I wanted to stay. The pool was filthy. Bugs and trash floating in the water. Elevator lights not even working.

Front desk check in on Sunday evening was great! It was fast and employee was friendly. Valet guy was very friendly and helpful also! The valet guy I encountered on Monday morning was not as friendly and almost seemed annoyed that I bothered him as he had just started drinking his coffee. He was in absolutely no hurry when he went across the street to get my car. He wasn't rude by any means but he also could have treated me (the guest) a bit more friendly and personable. Only one elevator works (far right) which is so Shreveport! And, the digital numbers on the wall to tell you what floor the elevator is on are starting to go out- also, very characteristically Shreveport. But, at least one of them worked I guess. I requested a roll-in shower room since I had my disabled sister with me and I got what I requested. The room was comfy, large and pretty clean. The shower had some previous people's hair in it (which totally grosses me out) and it looks like there was some pink mold growing in the shower (like maybe it hasn't really been scrubbed down between each guest) but overall I felt like it was fairly clean (better than other places I have stayed at in Shreveport). The question I always ask myself when staying at a hotel is would I stay here again and the answer is, "Yes, yes I would stay here again."

The only thing I thought needed improvement was the bed. It was just a little to stif for my taste. Other than that it was great! We really enjoyed the bar, restaurant and Starbucks that was onsite.

We were there for a volleyball tournament and the hotel is clearly not staffed for sold out occupancy. Especially the dining options. Breakfast is a two hour ordeal if you make it before they close down and ask you to leave because they did not get to you before 10. We waited 30 minutes for a server to take our order. Lunch is even a longer wait time. The public bathrooms were dirty and completely out of toilet paper and paper towel on several occasions. Check in and valet were quick but they were the only things operating well. The staff overall seemed frustrated and annoyed. Definitely not what I would expect from a Hilton hotel. We will not be staying there next year. The convenience of walking to the convention center is not worth it. I'd rather pay less and get more from some other hotel in the area.

I cannot believe that I paid almost $400 for a room that I only stayed 8 hours in to find pubes in my bed, wadded up makeup tablets and wash rags in the shower, the shower had a piece of plastic ripped off the bottom of it and it had rust underneath it, so that was a hazard if you stumped your toe you were going for a tetanus shot. And did I mention the bed had pubes in it? I was completely exhausted and I sat down in the last thing I remember was thinking I needed to call downstairs and then I woke up this morning. I am sick I am tired and I cannot believe I paid $400 to sleep with pubes.

Arrive to the hotel to be told my room wasn’t ready yet but was accommodated with a free meal. When the room was ready everything was fine up until me and my family heard a loud backing noise. We do not know what it was but it was consistent and wouldn’t stop. I think it had something to do with the air being turned on. Beside that and getting the wrong food delivered to the room everything was fine.

Beds were great and comfortable, which is a big reason to stay at a nice hotel, but for the money you spend you would expect everything else to be working properly. Shower faucet was not working correctly. Hot water spit out when you had it on cold and could not change the temperature. The toilet was barely flushing and we were scared to use it too much. The sink was gurgling and draining very slow, which makes me thing there's major plumbing issues. The outlets on the night stand were pushed out of the housing and not working. I spent a lot of money a few weeks ago at this hotel for two night. The first room they gave me stunk of sewage, but the next one was great. I knew what I was spending, so can't complain much. But this trip was not great and we were too tired to change rooms again. We were late checking in after being with a loved one in the hospital all day. I just think there are many pluming issues that need to be addressed and then this hotel can become great again.

I've stayed here a 10+ times in the past year and it has always been a comfortable stay. However, there were dozens of teenagers roaming the hall in front of my door all afternoon, making my concentration on work a bit difficult. They treated the Hilton like it was a beach motel during spring break. Talking to the front desk, the clerk said there were no available rooms to move me to that didnt have the same issue. I wish I had warning before I arrived. I'm planning to book elsewhere for my next trip to Shreveport next week.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The property is nice. The rooms are clean but I was disappointed with the bathroom. The shower water pressure was so low it was difficult to shower properly and the water for cold. There are no microwaves in the rooms and the only microwave in the lobby is so small you can barely fit a plate in it.

The Hilton was such a nice hotel to stay at. It is one of my new favorite Shreveport hotels. It was very clean, very nice staff that was very helpful. I called the front desk with questions and they was so nice and helpful. We brought our service dogs and the staff was so nice about it. I love the check in/check out feature on app. You can also chat with front desk on there and get a very quick response. The air conditioning worked very good and beds were super comfy.

One of the front desk staff was very rude and condescending when I asked a question. He was practically yelling at me and made me very uncomfortable. Reported him to the supervisor who said oh he’s just loud. Not acceptable behavior. The price of the room was very high for the area. The location is convenient to the convention center which is why we chose to stay here. Renovations were being made to the lobby and corridor areas on some floors. The restaurant in the lobby, River and Rye has decent food and a good burger, however the service was lacking. I had to track down our waiter both times we ate there.

We were there for a volleyball tournament and the hotel is clearly not staffed for sold out occupancy. Especially the dining options. Breakfast is a two hour ordeal if you make it before they close down and ask you to leave because they did not get to you before 10. We waited 30 minutes for a server to take our order. Lunch is even a longer wait time. The public bathrooms were dirty and completely out of toilet paper and paper towel on several occasions. Check in and valet were quick but they were the only things operating well. The staff overall seemed frustrated and annoyed. Definitely not what I would expect from a Hilton hotel. We will not be staying there next year. The convenience of walking to the convention center is not worth it. I'd rather pay less and get more from some other hotel in the area.

Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable not to mention the very hot shower on a sidenote the services for the restaurant, especially for breakfast were subpar at best,We were given the opportunity to get a refund for our meal that we ordered up to our room that took over an hour, and they never notified us that the orders got canceled because the staff got overwhelmed and backed up.

The only thing I thought needed improvement was the bed. It was just a little to stif for my taste. Other than that it was great! We really enjoyed the bar, restaurant and Starbucks that was onsite.

The front guest staff was nice! The reasoning for low stars is we did park in the garage and we’re going to use the walkway to cross the street to not get wet in the rain but the elevators from that walkway to the hotel lobby wasn’t working so we had to load back up and cross the street. Also when we went into our room the room was not cleaned right and the fridge had left over food and drinks still in there from previous guest.
