Very nice, recently renovated hotel just off I95. The personnel were very helpful, the self parking is easy, the rooms well appointed, and there are good restaurants nearby. A full breakfast is included. Downtown Newburyport is an easy 15 minute drive. I would definitely stay here again.

We stay at this hotel each time we come back to visit family. Maryann at the front desk is the most AWESOME person and always remembers us. I can't say enough about her. All positive. Renovations are very nice and were past due. Parking on Saturday night was an issue with full hotel. Otherwise a great stay.

When we checked in very late at night into our room when I turned over the bedsheets, I had black hair all over the bed and the big yellow stain on the sheets. When I went to take a shower the next morning I had hair all over the walls and the shower pan.

Convenient. Close to everything you need for a short stay. Beaches just a few miles away. Staff were great. Only issue, the pillows on the beds were not your typical Marriot pillows. There were 4 pillows on the King bed and only 2 of them were comfortable like a Marriot hotel. The other pillows were uncomfortable. This is why a 4 star review.

Hotel appeared clean but seemed dated. There was construction going on in the lobby area/first floor so improvements may be on the way Room felt dark and worn. But the staff was super friendly. The TV in the room was great for streaming services, and the mini fridge came in handy.

Two night trip to beach, nice room clean and spacious. Adjoining room doors are not insulated at all! 3am arrival very noisy and next night couple with hearing issues? I might as well been in the same room. Disrupted sleep both nights. Not good!

A very nice, well-run inn. This is the second time we’ve stayed there, and it doesn’t disappoint: the rooms are clean, attractive and well designed, with comfortable beds ready to sink down on after a long drive (and we were given a room for a person with disabilities as we had requested, which is not always the case when booking hotel rooms!). The rooms are quiet, which make for a good night's sleep. The staff is friendly and very helpful, the breakfast excellent. We had a very good stay there again, and look forward to returning next year!

My room was tiny and right next to the laundry chute. I tried to get in touch with the general manager but he never responded. I also tried to speak to the manager but after she was 3 hours late, I gave up. The desk person was lovely and helpful.

A loud party of around 40 people gathered around 11pm in the lobby/breakfast area. Room 118 (my room) was right next to the lobby so it was very loud. When I went out to ask the front desk person, he said the manager had given them permission to be there until 1am and there was nothing he could do about it. There were no other rooms available either. If you are looking for a quiet place to sleep, this is not it since quiet hours are not enforced.

I wish I had gotten the gal's name that was on the desk overnight. I had had a brutal day of traveling, delayed flights, lost bags, arrived 8 hours after my scheduled arrival. She was fantastic, got me in my room super quick & was just so kind.

There were no room key cards, the machine was broken, so staff had to take us to our rooms each time. This went on for the three days we were there. I would think they would have called in help so the wait would have been shorter, but there was only one person working at the time. Also for the breakfast all three days the same old fruit was offered. There was no fresh fruit.

Floors in lobby area of our room and bathroom were dirty. They moved us to a different room. The room we moved to had only 3 channels and the resolution was terrible. The elevator flooring was dirty, too. Breakfast area was a mess. Out of eggs and bacon and it was only 7:30 am. Lots of opportunities for improvements!

There were no room key cards, the machine was broken, so staff had to take us to our rooms each time. This went on for the three days we were there. I would think they would have called in help so the wait would have been shorter, but there was only one person working at the time. Also for the breakfast all three days the same old fruit was offered. There was no fresh fruit.

Attentive staff and always has my favorite breakfast items. Quiet at night and easy to pick up Aroma Joe’s on the 10 minute ride work in the morning.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was much more than a typical "continental breakfast" and very good. The bed was too soft (personal preference- nothing wrong with the bed).

Computer was done for two nights. Had to manually registry and could not buy food or drinks. Would not accept cash. Rooms were not ready at 5 pm. Breakfast opened later. Front staff were not helpful. Person in the back office was doing nothing and just playing his guitar when guess were waiting on line. When i complained he told me to go somewhere else. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we had a bad experience at a Fairfield. Property. Fairfield is going dow hill fast! Probably not going to book agin at Fairfield until management makes some changes.

We love how the coffee bar is there 24/7. A staff member brought croissants to the bar. She stated they were warm. My husband took one. It was warm, but it didn’t have any flavor. I remember them having chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin cookies from previous visits. Would love to see them again.
