Property was undeniably filthy. From the bloodstained sheets to the hair all over the bathroom, the grime was palpable. After driving for a long while, we looked forward to hot showers and a chance to decompress; however, we arrived and were without hot water for many hours. The refrigerator ceased working in the night, resulting in numerous medications of mine spoiling. Housekeeping did not tend to our room nor the room the rest of our group was staying in once throughout our 4 day stay. Images and website are very misleading. Very frustrating to pay such a hefty sum for such an uncomfortable visit.

The staff were fabulous but the hotel was run down and dated. Out of service elevator, indoor pool closed, no breakfast offered. To be fair, the room was sufficiently clean but it did smell musty. We stayed there for the proximity to Salem and that was nice. It was about a 10-15 min Uber into Salem. Probably would pass on a second visit but it’s okay if you’re just looking for a head in a bed one night stay.

This Holiday Inn is in desperate need of renovation. Only one workimg elevator and ice machine. Pool closed for maintenance. The room wr got had a sink that was clogged, and the room smelled like moldy and musty. The electrical outlets were loose. The staff was accommodating and upgraded us to another room which was OK but the ac/heater unit leaked water all over the carpet. Maintenance came and fixed it but it still continued to leak. I was charged $1000 for 3 nights which is way too much for a hotel that is in desperate need for renovation.
