Restaurant/Bar is temporarily closed. It would of been nice if this was mentioned on their website or the Expedia page. There isn't a lot of quality dining options in walking distance so I expected to be able to eat on site.

Fantastic option to use as a base to explore the Boston area. Hotel shuttle is super convenient to get you to the popular spots as well as a quick walk to the metro line. Highly recommend!

I loved our stay here! Its an amazing hotel great service everyone is very kind, the breakfast buffet was so good. The best part was the indoor pool and activities center. If you have kids its a great place to stay you get and indoor pool and kids under 12 eat the breakfast buffet for free! I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing offerings from the pool area (complete with Basketball court, movie projector, and rock wall), to the restaurant on site (kids eat free with paying adult), to the well stocked convenience kiosk, to the complimentary shuttle service to enjoy the attractions of Boston.

Bathrooms need a full overhaul of cleaning. I’m a cleaner and these are sub par. Key’s didn’t work twice. Hairdryer didn’t work. Parking $20? Pool not open on Monday and Tuesday. Tavern down the street the best!

Booked a room with a king size bed, but was not king size. Room was worn and could hear visitors from other rooms. Website listed a restaurant and bar but found out it wasn’t open due to maintenance and had to make last minute plans for dinner.

Was told my room was not ready. My sister arrived 15mins after me and her room was ready, for the same room type. No towels at the pool. The pool closed early and then was not open on Saturday. 1 Elevator was not working. The shuttle only provided service into Boston and no return later in the day.

Room was not clean smelled strongly of weed and the thermostat was not working. Hotel staff fixed the smell and air conditioning when out to dinner. The cleanliness was off putting to say the least.

Rooms are in slight disrepair and could use some TLC, but the place is clean and comfortable. I was concerned about Satanic Temple flyers in lobby on the flyer rack for local attractions. I did bring it to the attention of staff and management. Hope necessary changes are made here. The location was convenient for exploring Boston as a tourist. Parking has a fee, but it is reasonably priced. Unfortunately housekeeping missed our room the one night that we needed it. This is always disappointing after being out all day.

Constructive feedback: our experience in the hotel was excellent and recommend this hotel. But it would be good to clean the stains of the side chair and also deep cleaning of shower grouts.

The building is nice with a lot of parking. The room that I stayed in was spacious and clean. The hotel provides a bus shuttle from the hotel to a two miles radius. You can do your laundry for a cost of $1.50 per load. The only thing I didn’t like was the AC unit which was making a lot of noise.

Definitely needs updating. Cable was stuck on one channel. We called the front desk at 6:00 p.m. they said they'd send someone up. Then we called again at 8:30 p.m. because no one had arrived. And then at 1:00 a.m. someone knocked on our door which I'm assuming was maintenance but unfortunately because my family was sleeping I did not answer. The mini fridge didn't really get cold enough to keep drinks in it. One of the elevators didn't work and just overall in the hallways pieces of the wall are falling apart. The room itself was clean and decent. The kids loved the pool area because it had basketball and rock climbing as well.

update in rooms were done halfway, some stuff were updated, but other were left in poor condition. Bathroom was updated and clean so was the bed, but carpet and dresser, refrigerator was very old. Needed more lights in room, extremely dark.

Our first time visiting Boston to see our daughter. This hotel was conveniently located, clean, and spacious… Which was nice after being in such tight spaces with everyone in the city all day. Only issue was a slight miscommunication about our late checkout time, but that was easily remedied by the front desk, which I appreciated! We will be back.

We were given the wrong room at check in (no rooms left with two double beds) so my husband had to sleep on a very uncomfortable pull out couch all weekend. Awful! The restaurant was very understaffed, although those employees that were there were very nice.

Nothing to review, they called at the last moment and cancelled my booking for some stupid reason. I think they overbooked, but obviously no way to prove it. When asked if they'd help in booking me another place because I was already on my way and that is what good hospitality practice dictates, they said they cannot and that's that. It's abhorrent and they should go out of business.

To start if you want to avoid frustration stay away from this holiday inn Washington St in Somerville. Room smells when checking, they didn't want to change the room, it took them 2hr to send someone with refresher, no remote for TV. Leave for house keeping, came back after 5hrs room was still not done overall the staff was useless with attitude + Service was terrible. I have been to many other Holiday Inn before with complaints, but this one👎 never will I go back on this one.

Maria at the front desk went above and beyond to help us check in early so we didn’t miss the graduation we were in town for. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Id stay here again for sure!!

Both mornings I was awakened at 6am with an unwanted wake up call. I contacted the desk to ask them to discontinue any wake up calls and was told by Sean that the problem was fixed. However the very next morning I was awakened again by the intrusive call. This hotel has a very convenient shuttle service with very nice and courteous drivers. Wait staff in the restaurant were very pleasant and attentive. This is a good place to stay…just watch out for wake up calls!

bartender on duty 11/19 6pm was not customer focused and the bar was low or out of typical on hand brands. Automatic check out on 11/20 was not working leading to a few people standing at the unstaffed front desk for 15 minutes while other staff members walking around ignored us. I grabbed a walkie talkie off desk and asked for help. Attendant who responded was obviously inconvenienced and offered no apology. Went into restaurant same day at 8am and was walked from table to table 4 times before seated. proceeded to buffet and there were no eggs, no potatoes. Told a staff member and they did refill them. My first and last time ever to a Holiday Inn.

Went into restaurant same day at 8am and was walked from table to table 4 times before seated. proceeded to buffet and there were no eggs, no potatoes. Told a staff member and they did refill them. My first and last time ever to a Holiday Inn.

Staff was exceptionally kind, helpful, and friendly. Front desk personnel was a great help with giving directions around town and providing recommendations. The shuttle driver at the hotel was amazing! He went out of his way to familiarize us with the subway system! The room was comfortable and what needed for a night.

Staff and cleanliness was great. No instructions for the toom amenities in the room, and the QR code in the room just tells you a few things. No channel list. It was pretty expensive for a Saturday in Somerville. I get that it is outside of Boston, but it isn't anything special or even the best location in terms of convenience or esthetics.

The hotel was extremely loud with outside noises at night. Construction, sirens, traffic. We were on the 5th floor and it sounded like our window was open making it difficult to sleep. The hotel restaurant had horrible service. Waited 20 minutes before the bartender even came behind the bar to take our order. When we ordered he would disappear for another 15-20 minutes just to tell us that they were out of a particular beverage or menu option. The coffee maker in the room only worked when it felt like it. Trying to get more coffee from the front desk required house keeping to bring it to the room….and that took 3 requests. The television remote would not work. 3 calls later to the desk finally got it replaced. Lastly there was a used Covid mask under the desk in the room. Staff was very quiet and standoff’ish. Needless to say. Avoid this holiday inn.

Restaurant/Bar is temporarily closed. It would of been nice if this was mentioned on their website or the Expedia page. There isn't a lot of quality dining options in walking distance so I expected to be able to eat on site.

I loved our stay here! Its an amazing hotel great service everyone is very kind, the breakfast buffet was so good. The best part was the indoor pool and activities center. If you have kids its a great place to stay you get and indoor pool and kids under 12 eat the breakfast buffet for free! I would definitely stay here again!

Decent hotel. Pricey for anywhere other than Boston. $320 for a basic Holiday Inn seems crazy but it was the best price we could find for a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was good quality. Feel like it should have been included in the price of the room.

The swimming pool is huge, twice the size of a typical hotel pool, and the water is clean. However, closing at 9:00 PM is too early; it would be better to extend it to 10:00 PM. There are plenty of parking spaces. The staff are very nice.
