Overall nice property. My only issue is that there are so many groups of people staying at the hotel that it wasn’t necessarily quiet as you’re trying to lie down at the end of the day. But the rooms are adequate. I want to particularly recognize Elizabeth who is so excellent at the restaurant.

We walked into our room and it sounded like an airplane was taking off - it turned out to be the air conditioner, so we went back to the front desk, and they immediately changed our room (and graciously gave us a Starbucks credit, which was lovely). But the hotel is older, and it seems the maintenance hasn't kept up with the aging building. The bathroom shower curtain smelled like an old towel. The bed in our replacement room was so comfortable, but the ill-fitting wallpaper outside our room wasn't really welcoming, although it made the room easy to find. The breakfast team, while hardworking, cannot handle larger groups and you may not be able to order off the menu if too many patrons enter at once. The morning restaurant manager wasn't very good at their job, frankly. I think the bartender on Thursday night might have ripped me off by charging me $29 for a Basil Hayden old fashioned. (Go across the street to The Local for great drinks at a better price). Overall, it's pretty meh. Unless you need to stay in Waltham - pass.

Pros nice clean well maintained and the most amazing bed and down comforter. 35 min to Salem (we were here for the anniversary) Cons 20 dollars a day to park ridiclous. Breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired.

For some reason we received a room for people with disabilities which ironically had one shower head that didn't work at all and the second shower head was coming off the wall so it would stand up straight. Weak water pressure. There were tiny hairs everywhere. I noticed that the bottom of the mattress was covered in pee stains. The coffee machine was weirdly complicated. Lastly, the receptionist was so impatient and frankly quite rude. Would not return here.
