Good upkeep in gym

The staff was great - everyone very pleasant and attentive. Our room and the breakfast rooms were very clean. The pool needs some attention - water was not crystal clear and the pool furniture and umbrellas were pretty shabby.

had a problem with the shower, was fix rapidly by maintenance, many restaurants by walking distance, nice pool but should be heated. stayed there for 3 days in late august, sixflags new england 10 minutes away. good breakfast

Didnt like that you have to.pay for parking, $5 a night.

This is not up to Hilton standards; facility felt dirty; pool was dirty and people actually got out; no towels at pool; front staff not friendly or helpful with questions

Overall, this hotel was fine for our 2 night stay as we were barely there/mostly just used it to sleep and shower. The room was clean enough, but the bedding is clearly old and worn -- definitely in need of replacing. The towels were like sandpaper and when we needed extras, they were all out and gave us hand towels to use instead. The halls and main areas of the hotel are in need of repair as well -- peeling wallpaper and a wet dog smell permeating throughout the building. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was convenient for where we needed to be in downtown Springfield, but I would probably chose another location the next time I stay in the area.

Our hotel room was not very clean. Mold in areas but we unfortunately only noticed it after the kids had fallen asleep from a long day of traveling.

Used to like this place, but the whole building needs a deep cleaning. Also, plumbing repair. Not sure how this happens, but water coming out of the tap is nice and warm, but coming out of the shower head is freezing cold even when the water is turned full hot.

Excellent basic accommodation. Seem to have an issue with moisture. Fans in dehumidifiers running in some areas and the bottom of our bathroom door had water damage

The hotel is well located (near a highway) so it’s easy to access and get around. The property though is dated and the walls are paper thin. I could hear everything from the room next door! Air conditioner was very loud too. The breakfast was decent though and appreciated.

Stuff friendly, old rooms, noisy

We have stayed here several times and are always happy with the quality of this hotel. My one complaint is that the shower in our room was slightly broken. It took a ton of force to pull the knob out in order to get the water running and it was just as difficult to shut the water off. As always, service and breakfast were great.

Our room was small and worn. The air conditioner leaked overnight and soaked our bags and clothes inside that were nearby. Alerted the front desk and simply got a sorry.

Constant whirring noise coming from air vent in bathroom for air circulation. It could've been more quiet. Also, mattress was not that comfortable.

It was horrible they put me near back exit way next to the stairs and all i heard was the door slamming either stairs or back exit way must been minimum 15x my door slammed from the vibration. On top house keeping still knocked on my door even though do not disturb was hanging

This place has seen better days. The room and hallways are in need of a serious renovation. This is the second time i've stayed there and probably won't again unless nothing better is available. The one person I interacted with at the desk was very nice but everything seems a little run down and dated. The bed wasn't comfortable. The toilet seemed to be 12 inches off the ground which was really strange. The shower/bath controls were a challenge to turn on and off (I don't know how an older person would have neen able to pull the handle out as it was hard). The bottom of the bathroom door rubbed against the floor mid-swing while opening, etc. etc. A log of little things. It was clean but run-down is the best I could describe it.

A nice stay in a busy area. The rooms were nice.., not very large and could use a comfortable chair. However, staff were friendly and professional. Would stay again.

Shannon at check-in was extraordinarily helpful and kind to our group of Visually impaired friends.

I arrived and was placed in room 123, The room had a file smell to it. I asked the receptionist at the Front desk if I could be moved to another room, I explained to her why and she was great about it and put me in room 311. She immediately had a cleaning crew in the room to take all care of the room. Thank you very much for your service

From Faith at the front desk greeting us to the final checkout we were very satisfied! The room was clean, the coffee/tea service was up 24/7 and it was just a perfect place to stay and relax.

Staff, particularly Anthony and Winnie, are very friendly, welcoming and helpful.Room and common areas were immaculate, including holiday decorations. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

LOVED THE STAFF. VERY EFFICIENT AND HELPFUL

I booked double queen beds. I had 1 queen bed. I contacted front desk; couldn't help me. I am a Hilton Honors member. I requested late checkout (which is standard for members); I was denied a late checkout. The front desk staff did not try to help with the room which was not as booked nor did they care that I requested a late checkout of 1:00. I was informed that they were busy and overbooked and that they couldn't accommodate my request or move me to the room that I actually booked on Expedia. Probably the worst Hampton Inn that I have ever stayed at and we book with Hilton several times per year.

Great Location!!! Staff very friendly, breakfast was good. Rooms are a little dated (bathroom) but beds and linens provided a good night sleep. This hotel offers everything within walking distance.

It was close and convenient to areas you needed to get to grocery stores, entertainment and shopping areas as well as restaurants and dining options.

Staff are very friendly, property condition is good for the price, breakfast is free which saved my time and money. But it was quite a noisy area, heard vechiles or (train?).

The Hampton Inn West Springfield was okay for a short stay. The staff was friendly and check-in was easy. The room was clean, but a bit dated and could use some updates. Breakfast was decent but got crowded and some items ran out. The location is convenient, but highway noise was noticeable at night. Overall, not bad, but not great either.

Breakfast was not as good as we would have liked. Chicken sausage just does not make it.

Checkin staff was very friendly and quick. Our double queen room was clean and had enough room for two adults and 2 children. We got to the hotel late and had to leave early for an event at the DCU center, which was around 10 minutes away. The breakfast was perfect, offering both hot and cold options as well as various drink options. I probably ate a bigger breakfast than I had in months since there were so many great options!

Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast selection was great and delicious. Staff were all very professional and courteous at all encounters.

We stayed at this location 2 days ago and were disappointed overall. The buffet breakfast was lacking. Ice dish put out for yogurt, but none available. The same for apparently cut fruit. On our stay last night both were available. Took a shower and was adjusting the overhead nozzle when I noticed all of the grime where you are suppose to put your hand to adjust. The light in the bathroom seemed dim so I unscrewed the cover shade and one of the light bulbs was not working. I screwed it in and it worked just fine. Two nights ago the same issue in the bathroom. I assume that housekeeping was to lazy to notice or fix the problem. For a Hampton Hotel I was disappointed in the quality of the linens in the bathroom - something like Motel 6 quality. Your dining room furniture needs to be updated or replaced. One of the tables had a piece of cardboard to stop it from wobbling - just fix the problem or move the table away from the middle of the room. We spent the night before last night in a Hampton in Bedford, NH. Their quality of service and food was much improved to your facility. The door to the hotel this morning was making a terrible racket for each person leaving. Sign on the door says doors are locked until 10 am. Didn't have that problem in Bedford. It appeared a District Manager was present this morning as we were leaving. He was more concerned about the placement of a garbage can than anything else. The elevator makes a racket that says use the stairs.
