Rooms were standard hotel rooms, clean , comfortable only big complaint is that unfortunately the outside Pool was absolutely disgusting. You could not even see your leg under the water it was so merky and green. In the picture I added you can’t even see the steps underwater!!! In mid July that should be you’re number one priority to be able to offer guests. We stayed Thursday- Saturday night and the pools condition did not change once of anything for the worse. Didn’t see one staff member touch that thing. The indoor pool was a little better but again mid july noones wants to sit in a hot humid indoor room while its a beautiful sunny day outside. The hot tub was close to being worse than the outdoor pool. Straight up green water with a film floating on top that looked like when gravy settles after being left out. Overall the hotel provided a roof over our heads while there for a baseball tournament but unfortunate that we couldn’t facilitate the resort’s amenities and lucky enough there was a lot of other things to do in the area but , it’s extra money out of your pocket. The Cape Cod Inflatable & Water Park was a huge hit 2 mins down the road and was only way to get some Swimming in during our stay.

I was glad they were able to switch my room on day one from second floor to first floor. The bathroom was disappointing. Pretty small , no sink in bathroom, out in cubby area. Room was not big enough for3 adults. Not Probably going to return unless you have suites or adjoining rooms for families with adult children. The pools were adequate and heated! The whirlpool needs work, to hot for me, the shape was rectangular and the corners were to hot and I couldn’t really relax and I’ve never seen foamy bubbles like the force of the air and water I guess caused this but it wasn’t really a problem. The breakfast was very good. I appreciated the coffee , nice fresh and hot! Good waffle maker, good sausages, my son loved the steamed eggs . Your doing a nice job with the place, if you fix the miniature golf and water features you would increase the beauty of the resort and make playing miniature golf a delightful experience, the broken fences and tattered signs were an eyesore, with a little more effort you could be a shining star and earn a 3 star rating, you could charge a minimum of 1-3 $ for the mini golf and pay the resort back a little.

Price was ok for 2 nights. Tv stopped working for 4 hours , 1st time I called the front desk at 11:05 am they said they would be there in 15 minutes to fix it. Waited they never came so called back 4 hours later at 3 pm and finally someone came and fixed it. Pool and Hot Tub didn’t use them because they looked very cloudy. Limited breakfast not much there. Eggs tasted salty and like they were powdered. Coffee wasn’t good. I mean for the price it was ok, but they need to upgrade the breakfast and be more attentive to needs of people staying there.

The Mariner used to be great. Now it is a Red Roof property. Bad management, he is never onsite. The outside pool was disgusting, cloudy, film, green water with big dark clouds in it. Grew up going here. Not same place!

Upon arrival to the hotel, we immediately noticed so many rat traps around the resort. Also, as we are walking into the resort, we noticed that there were several families outside, cooking out on a grill, which led me to believe that people live here at the resort, secondly you get to Our room and realize that this resort has no elevator so if you have any type of disability and cannot walk up any stairs. This is not the resort for you. Once receiving our keys to our room, we open the door and immediately it smelled like something died in it, we had to quickly open the windows or the sliding door to let some air and spray the room down. We noticed also that the bathroom was very small and the showerhead was broken not to mention the little mini refrigerator smelled like something from a trash compactor. There is no microwave in any of the room so if you brought any food to your room warming it up is out of the question. There’s also no vending machine on the second floor, so I’m going to get ice. You have to walk down flight upstairs just to get ice which is almost near the front of the front door. In addition to that the beds are very uncomfortable and the outlets to plug up anything such as your devices are all broken. This was the worst is what I have ever stayed in with my family and this will be the last time I stay at this resort and for the money that they are requesting it is not . The review.s are very misleading and untrue.

The staff was friendly, but the over cleanliness of the hotel was not great. Room needed to be vacuumed and dusted. Slime or something in our ceiling from previous guest. Air conditioning vent was very dusty, dirty, and not fully attached to base. Sliding screen door was off of the track. Both indoor and outdoor pools needed good cleanings. Hot tub was disgusting, as it had stuff floating in it. Would not recommend staying here.

It was not what we expected. The beds creaked whenever we moved, there was still hair (not ours) in the tub, there were holes patched in the wall, the ac was falling off the wall, my boyfriend had to fix the toilet because it kept running, you could hear everything in all the other rooms, nothing would load on the tv, and our screen door didn’t lock. Would not recommend again.

There could’ve been more attention to maintenance. For instance, the lock on the glass sliding door did not work. If it wasn’t for the metal bar, you couldn’t lock the door. The screen outside the sliding door was defective. It didn’t work and nearly fell off the track. In the bathroom, the shower curtain rod was loose. It could move. It wasn’t secured properly. There was also a leak on the ceiling and it wasn’t fixed properly. Where the vanity was to support it, they added a cheap piece of plywood. It wasn’t even painted or properly cut.

Check-in person was very unfriendly and did not even mention pool hours, free breakfast, etc. I overheard the other clerk telling another guest the info. Room was in need of TLC. The hairdryer was falling apart, there was damage to the wall, repaired, but not painted over. Burn hole in the shape of an iron in the carpet and our slider screen was off the track, my husband had to fix it. Bathroom was tiny. Room safe did not work and wouldn’t accommodate my husband’s work laptop. Beds were comfy and clean. We did not use either the indoor or outdoor pools. Overall, not terrible as no place is perfect, but for the money I expected a better quality room.

Overall the property was really nice, I loved the staffe, Simone at the front Desk was welcoming, friendly, knowledge and accommodating. Indoor/outdoor swimming pool was nice, my husband loved the hottub. I was pleasantly suprised at their oversized bathroom. The room was nice and neat. However there was a gapping hole in the bathroom ceiling, our sliding door would not open and the mattress and pillows were extremely hard. My Husband and i did not have a restful sleep, but we did enjoy our stay.

We stayed at the mariner resort because my wife and daughter had a booth at a local craft fair. This was the first time that I stayed there. The location was good and in walking distance to most things. Unfortunately, the hotel is very antiquated, the beds and the pillows were hard and the bathrooms were very small. The room was affordable and I guess we got what we paid for.
We stayed at the mariner resort because my wife and daughter had a booth at a local craft fair. This was the first time that I stayed there. The location was good and in walking distance to most things. Unfortunately, the hotel is very antiquated, the beds and the pillows were hard and the bathrooms were very small. The room was affordable and I guess we got what we paid for.

Good place for a reasonable price. The bed is very firm. Close to a lot of area restaurants and attractions. The one thing that I really think needs improving is the wi-fi. If you get up early before everyone else you will have some band width, but from 7:30 am on trying to do some computer work using the wi-fi will leave you wanting. Other than that the place is a solid choice.

Enjoyed the grounds around the property, along with its proximity to the beach (Seagull Beach is five minutes away). Our room had a nice view of the outdoor pool. The beds were extremely comfortable. However, the facilities themselves seemed a bit "tired". The bathroom in our room was tiny and cramped. Carpets in the hallways were stained in places. Breakfast was included, but the options were limited. There was no coffee ready when we came down for breakfast one morning at 7am, which was disappointing. (Someone did show up after about ten minutes to rectify this oversight.) Overall, not a bad place to stay, but could use some sprucing up.

We wanted to extend our stay by a second night and they told us that they were going to charge us before we even got to our hotel room so I hadn't swipe our card. So I had them swipe my card. Not only did they fail to swipe the card for payment and set up a profile the next morning we went out to breakfast they called us at 11:12 letting us know that we needed to vacate the room because we did not have a second reservation. We got to the hotel room before noon and they told my significant other they were going to charge us $360 plus tax for one extra night because we did not make a reservation in advance. We had to argue with the front desk that we made the reservation the day before before we even finished our check-in and they stated no profile or card was on file so because of the sudden rental they were trying to charge us that large amount. We looked online for that exact room number to see how much it would be worth renting out and we found on two different sites prices for $140 $160.186 before taxes. So using hotels.com we paid $250 plus taxes when we could have gotten the room $100 cheaper. While I was in the main hallway during the whole incident I was talking with another guest that we had seen at breakfast at the Denny's a couple miles away and I was asking them what their nightly price was for their room and the manager came running over to prevent me from talking to them and then offered me $150 plus tax for one more night. We declined the offer and left.

I stayed here last year and it was just okay. I like to give businesses a second chance and I wished I had not on this one. They got new television sets for the rooms. It would’ve been great but ours would work for about 5 minutes and then switch to display mode (think the screen shots they show at the store). We called the front desk and asked if someone could come down to fix it. They came and “fixed” it, except it did the same thing as before. Our room safe allowed you to lockup your items (but not your laptop because they are too small) but it would not unlock. Again, they came down, used the master key to unlock and then while the staff was there we tried again. Again it would not unlock. Safe was totally unusable. A second call was placed and we were told that they would have a maintenance person come down, but they weren’t on-site. They never showed up. POOR customer service!! When I mentioned this at checkout they acknowledged that they were aware of some rooms not having tv’s that were working correctly! If this is the case, then they shouldn’t rent it out and/or discount said room. While I’m talking about maintenance…our slider lock to the outside area was broken. It was only on the day we were leaving that we discovered that! We were so lucky no one came in and stole our stuff. There were other small things like the wall where they had to fix some drywall but didn’t bother to paint over it to finish it off as well as peeling paint in the bathroom.

After multiple calls and knocking on doors, still nobody showed up at the front desk, so he had to sleep in the truck. I called the office the next morning to request a refund. I liked that it’s 5 minutes drive from Seagull beach. It’s a very nice beach with fine sand. Parking at the beach is 20$ for the day. The hotel is also located right in the middle of Cape Cod, so it allowed us to go visit nearly every place in less than 30-40 minutes (except for Provincetown with is more than an hour drive) The place is relatively clean but these areas could be improved: - There is a big pile of dirty laundry directly in front of the back entrance. - We can’t see through windows in the room because they are dirty and thermos are finished. - Air conditioner in the room smelled really bad. There’s free breakfast included, but it’s very crowded every morning and the food is not that great. It does the job for a day or two, if you are in a hurry or if you are satisfied with toasts and butter with children cereals. I definitely don’t recommend the eggs and sausages. Waffles were decent though. At our arrival, we were greeted very coldly by a young guy at the front desk. I had to go see him twice during our 4 days stay because my room keys were incorrectly programmed. Same cold experience with him the first time. Second time he apologized and was ok. For our departure (6AM), no one was at the front desk. I put the keys on the desk and left. That’s basically the experience I had with the staff, lol. To conclude, I’d say that our experience was good for the price and considering that we were last minute in August.

Very dated and easy to see patches (or holes not even patched), seams in the carpet in halls are pulling up and flooring uneven. Breakfast i clused juice, coffee, tea, bagels, toast, yogurt, fruit cups. Nothing special, but easy to grab in a pinch. Wasn't the worst, but also not the best.
