I stayed one night for business and was very happy with the bed comfort, and the shower. Free coffee in the AM was good too Was hit with a $15.00 parking fee the next morning though. I wasn’t happy with that.

Pool is closed for construction. Even though this listing says nothing about that. We chose this hotel because it said it had a pool. Normally I would give this hotel 5 stars but false advertising caused some very unhappy children and therefore unhappy parents. I think that it is absolutely absurd to not have enough parking spaces for hotel guests and then not offer vallet services!! To have to walk a block and a half at 1:00am in the rain and still not actually be sure if we are in the right space because there is no attendant is ridiculous especially for the price of the rooms

Check in was seamless and super friendly (thank you, Jean!). Preferred floor was asked instead of just giving me a room. Room was super clean and spacious and television could be rotated to watch from desk, table or couch. While seemingly a small detail, the room had this amazing bright light which I appreciated because sometimes the hotel lights are just “meh”. Gym was nicely appointed with functional cardio machines. Small store with necessities (or midnight snacks) needed! Highly recommend!

Seemed fine. Middle of road. Got in bed. Instantly got 8 bites on thigh. Don’t know if fleas or bed bugs - but was definitely chewed up at once. We switched rooms and second room seemed okay- at least wasn’t being actively bitten. But I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this is a first. Wouldn’t stay here.

When I checked in I headed to my room, the bed seemed to have an area that looked like a bodily fluid on it. It was absolutely disgusting. How it was missed when the bed was made is beyond me, seemed to have happened after it was made. I got a new room but that was tough to overcome. The staff was great. Room and lobby were very clean. Noticed that some lighting fixtures were a bit loose and the mini fridge had some trouble getting cool. All other aspects of my stay were wonderful. I would recommend to other traveling into Worcester.

We got the room with 2 queen beds and a queen pull out sofa. For medical my husband had one bed my granddaughter the other bed and me pullout sofa. It was hard as a rock. I ended up buying an air mattress. On checkout I asked the clerk if anyone of the staff ever slept on the pull out. She didn’t think so. I told her they should try one and then order all new pull out sofas. And imagine my surprise to find we had to pay $15 a night to park in the parking lot.

I had a very bad experience because the room I stayed - there is a door on the wall between my room and the next room, at first I thought it was okay. Then the 3rd night was totally a nightmare. I would never ever want to stay at a room like this. I was almost traumatized. We went to bed early at 10pm because of my child's next day competition, then at 11pm (not exactly when, but late night for sure), a couple came back, their talking continued, their voices were so clear and loud, just like spoke beside us. The most terrible thing was, they started having adult activities and made embarrasing noises, loud again, oh my godness...totally a torture to us. I believe it was not the couple's fault, they had right to speak / have sex in their room, but the hotel should have considered what could happen and should have done something about the door/wall between two rooms to reduce noises.

Front Desk was frequently not staffed. One evening when there was not a single parking space, I had parked directly in front of a no-parking area and went inside to inquire where to park. As was typical, there was no one at the Front Desk. Due to the situation and annoyance, I walked toward the room where staff often emerged, behind the Front Desk. A very threatening Front Desk person emerged shouting "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!" I retreated the 3 steps I had taken behind the desk and calmly stated I was a guest needing parking. Still, the verbal abuse continued from this person for some minutes in front of my 28-year-old son. Eventually, he assisted, but not until I had been thoroughly humiliated by receiving this quite aggressive and overlong lashing. Later, he told me that people with guns and knives had entered this unsecured area. I suppose this happens at all hotels that have no security inside or out, along with empty Front Desks, but the abusive manner of this person was well beyond extreme. Nor would staff probably advertise this safety issue, but it was confirmed to me by another Front Desk person the next day, where we were offered free breakfast (declined), and 2 bottles of water (accepted). Given this known safety issue, I am shocked there is no security staff. Also, why does the secure door adjacent to room 101 not automatically close? It was frequently open. Finally, take note that there is a $15 fee per night to park your vehicle in the parking lot.

I did not like that I paid almost $500 for a room that they did not have ready until 2 hours after check in. We waited over an hour in the hotel lobby for our room to be cleaned. When I asked about a discount I was given a free drink with my breakfast that already comes with the booking. All and all this was a mediocre hotel. The check in clerk wreaked of cigarettes and she was on FaceTime with a bunch of children when I asked her how much longer my wait would be.

- first night there was a large party in the courtyard next to our room till almost 10:30 PM. Then kids were playing in the hallways till 11:00. Then another party around 11 was making noise in front of our room. Clearly overbooked. - upon arrival I was handed the pack and play for my baby. I carried it to our room. It didn’t snap correctly, I asked for help. Waited an hour no one came so my husband took it down to the lobby. They said they would bring another one - they did not. At this point it was past 11 PM and we had to move a chair next to the bed for the baby to not fall. They finally brought one the next day. - we asked for linen change, we just ended up doing it ourselves - we never had housekeeping during our stay - we had to keep going to front desk for towels, blankets, etc as needed - the bed was very uncomfortable - the room needs upgrading, there are spots that the wallpaper is pulling from on the bathroom due to humidity. Also - the sink faucet is not the right size for the sink — all the water pools by the handles because it doesn’t reach into the basin. Overall, for the price paid compared to the experience we had - this was awful. I have stayed at many Marriott’s and thought I would have a good stay here too - unfortunately I probably won’t book another Marriott. The front desk staff is super nice - but they are limited in capacity and extremely understaffed.

They were able to accommodate our family with only a few minutes notice. The staff was awesome and very friendly. The room was very clean and the bed and shower were great.

The staff was very friendly, very welcoming. The room was clean and cozy, there was construction in the area and they had printed maps of the detours for easier travel.

This property is in a very convenient location with easy access to other parts of Worcester and MA. It also is walking distance to the Worcester Art Museum which has an excellent reputation. Having breakfast available and a bistro with drinks and light food makes life much easier. The hotel has extremely friendly staff.

A comfortable experience overall. They were repaving their parking lot during my stay and I won't hold it against them, but I will say that they did not use enough traffic cones or directions for this process which made the parking lot a nightmare at times. Otherwise the staff were great, the in house bistro was good with larger than expected meals for the price points, and the amenities were decent.

The bathtub was dirty. That’s our only complaint. The balcony was a plus. The ladies making coffee and breakfast were lovely. The whole staff was excellent. Only complaint was dirty bathtub

The Marriott Courtyard is my favorite hotel in Worcester. I like the location, it has convenient parking on the grounds, and it has a bistro where you can get breakfast, supper, and drinks. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing I don’t like is their TV provider.

The stay was fine except there were some inconsistencies- the website for the hotel says free breakfast, there was none. They did charge for parking and the lot was FULL of bees swarming everywhere. There was also a very off putting smell of natural gas outside that got into the lobby. The worst part was that someone outside our window kept smoking weed and the smell was so strong in our room it was burning my daughter's eyes. So while the room was very clean and modern and nice, I won't choose this hotel again for my stay.

Subject: Urgent Concern Regarding Unsanitary Room Conditions – Marriott Worcester (Grove Street) To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding my stay at the Marriott Worcester on Grove Street. My daughter and I checked in around 10:00 PM after a long day of travel. We were in Worcester because my daughter is participating in a college showcase at Clark University, an important event that could impact her future. Instead of being able to rest and prepare for the next day, we were met with unacceptable room conditions. As a Marriott Bonvoy Business member for the past 13 years, I have always trusted Marriott to provide clean, comfortable accommodations. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below the standards I have come to expect. The room’s air conditioning unit was filled with an excessive amount of dust and debris. The attached photos show what came out of the unit when I cleaned it myself, as well as how filthy the towels became. The amount of dirt circulating through the room was alarming. I have asthma, and because of the poor air quality, I had to use my inhaler more than three times after checking into the room. Rather than sleeping, I found myself cleaning the room at 12:30 AM in an effort to reduce the dust and protect my health. To make matters worse, when I pulled out the sofa bed so my daughter could have the main bed before her showcase, there were no sheets provided. At that point, after midnight, it was incredibl
