First of all I would like to start off with a positive. The room was very clean, sheets, bathroom, floor, etc. The parking was great. Now the negative: The hotel needs a complete redo. The hallways have aged carpeting and wires dangling on the walls where fire alarms were removed completely.. Our room while it was clean, had a urine smell or maybe it was mold, not too sure. My daughter had to use the WiFi, which was down, so she had to go on her hotspot for work. Breakfast was okay, the staff works hard to replenish the food. I didn't want to stay there with the smell but all hotels were full for UMD family weekend. I won't ever come back here sorry.

Hotel needs some facilities upgrades Vending Machines has minimal options. Breakfast was warm , but eggs tasted like powered eggs. Very dry. Staff was friendly and informative. Hotel is 6 minutes from Metro station but no shuttle. Expedia listed that as a service. It is not. Station 202 restaurant was an expensive, odd experience. Food was ok but found other options a short drive away.

Elevator was very small and wasn’t working properly and no one mentioned that or was helping guest with the elevators

There was a smell of marihuana in the halls and teens smoking just at the main entrance. The carpets need cleaning. The unit was clean, and the staff was friendly and polite. Breakfast was a plus and good. Expedia has an error in the listing; this place does not have an indoor pool, only an outdoor one.

This was a nice property and breakfast was good but the elevator was broken and we were put on the top floor. I ran up and down the stairs at least eight to nine times! The staff was friendly, but we should’ve gotten a room on the first floor instead of on the top floor. We checked out after one night.

Clean hotel. Breakfast was subpar with not many options. Would have liked at least a non-dairy milk/creamer for the coffee. Pool was open and well taken care of. Front desk staff was fine. Could have been more personable maybe? I know it's the hospitality but I guess I'm just used to a nicer energy and actually being greeted in the front. Nothing crazy though.

Very old place. Not properly maintained. Our room had broken shower curtain, rotten egg smelling water, and peeling paint throughout the room. Elevator was proper sized for children only. Green mold throughout the bottom of the pool. Won’t be back.

The hotel was clean and staff was nice. The elevator is very small. there is no bar in the hotel, it is in the restaurant in front of hotel. The restaurant is easy walk to it but all up hill on the way back. Complimentary breakfast was very nice.

Old and dirty. Toilets all need to be replaced w clean ones. AC units all broken, loud, rattling and not cooling. So sleeping was nearly impossible given the heat and the noise.

The staff was amazing. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had at a hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel is not clean. There were ants in our bathroom. The first night we woke up to cigarette smoke in our room from next door. We asked to be moved. We had two rooms, the other one had asbestos in it we were told after the first night stay, so we moved that one too. We had a disabled person in our group and were told they had no more disabled rooms available after the asbestos room, so we had to move to the 4th floor which was an ordeal every time we left or came back to the hotel for the rest of the 6 days we stayed. Like I said, staff was the best there, wish they had a better facility to offer.

Right when we came in to our rooms the bedsheets were dirty and had stains all over them. We asked the workers to change all the bedsheets and they did however they were still dirty. So they changed it again. There was always a smell in the rooms and it was unsanitary. The good things about the hotel were the pool which was clean and the breakfast which was excellent. The hotel needs to work more on cleanliness in the rooms.

Room smelled like mold. Property is very poorly maintained. Walls need a fresh coat of paint. Breakfast was pretty good. Staff were nice and helpful.

I stayed at this hotel from June 2 to June 5, 2025, with my two small children. While in the bathroom, I discovered a mouse in the room. I immediately contacted the front desk and was moved to another room, but no one offered assistance despite me being alone with two babies, multiple bags, and car seats. I had to move everything myself — while also managing my children, one of whom was crying. This was an extremely stressful and unsafe situation. I felt completely unsupported. Staff were polite, but the response was inadequate for the seriousness of the issue. I ended up checking out early and arranging last-minute transportation myself. I would not recommend this hotel to families, especially those traveling alone. This experience caused emotional distress and left me feeling like my safety and well-being were not a priority.

The tv channels could have matched the guide , only one small elevator. Served good breakfast , didn’t really care for the location it wasn’t near any good stores or restaurants. You get what you pay for

Me and my family enjoyed our visit. When we arrived at the hotel, we had some concerns about the area. It was quiet and the staff was great and helpful. It was just outdated. The room itself was clean.

The property was average, a little dated. For exsmple, the airconditioner was a mobile type unit.

Overall this was great value for the money spent. Bed and pillows were comfortable. A/C unit had to run all night (which didn’t bother us) in order for the room not to feel humid. Room and bathroom were both clean. Tub faucet had a nonstop drip but overall it didn’t impact us outside of our environmental concerns. Hallway and entrances are definitely dated but our room was pleasantly modern and updated. Staff was pleasant and we were able to request an hour later check out at no additional cost. No safety concerns. Ultimately I would book this property again.

This hotel probably hasn't been updated since it was built except for the manufactured hardwoods on the floor. It had a freestanding air conditioner. Windows were inable to be opened. It was fine for one night. And the restaurant next door is a real find. But, ancient microwave, heat lamp with timer in bathroom. And the tiniest elevator ever!

Staff was very friendly. Updates were clearly in progress. Our room was clean and spacious. The biggest downfall was the AC unit. It was not near big enough to cool the whole room. It was set at 68, but the wall thermostat still showed it was 78 in the room. It felt like there was no circulation.

Room was a good size, beds comfortable, good pillow, the hotel was noisy.

The roadways to enter the hotel from the front and the back were run down. Once you get into the parking lot, though, it's fine. The hotel was well updated and we were greeted by a very nice front desk employee, as well as freshly popped popcorn with lots of flavor powders! On our way to our room, we were surprised by an elevator that must be half the size of a normal one. That was odd but it worked fine during our stay. Our room was very spacious, bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was in good condition. Breakfast was good and there were lots of options. Overall, very happy with our stay and wish we could have been there longer.

We came to this state unexpectedly due to a death in the family, drive 14 hours and decided on this hotel due to brand name, sense of security and quietness, to my surprise we were woken up the 1st morning by the shuttle staff in the parking lot laughing and talking extremely loudly yet we were on the 3rd and sounded like we were standing in the parking lot with them for about an hour. They need to find another area to hang out. Next request to be moved great.. moved to the back of the hotel. No problems great night sleep. Leave the next day to handle funeral arrangements gone for a few hours come back to find housekeeping came in made the bed great found out later sheets not changed my sock was still in the sheets, but prior to that started to settle in when noticed not only did housekeeping not clean she enjoyed going through our suitcases and decided to eat and enjoy her time in our room and left behind her baggie with some type of liquid still left in the bag that she left on top of my clothes in my suitcase. Made a complaint at front desk they brought that worker down n all she stated was oh. No apology from any staff member that night. So don’t keep anything in your room that you want to keep, we through out all our open snacks, drinks since she felt comfortable enough do go through our belongings who knows what else she enjoyed. Easy to book and friendly staff

I booked in and had my check-in online and was confirmed… surprise2 when I got in the hotel the frontdesk staff just told us its fully booked already and just to contact the expedia for refund and the staff really didn’t care at all. What a mess!

Stay far away from this property. My wife, baby, and I had a delayed flight and got in at around midnight with a reservation we had booked long in advance. Five minutes before we arrived, a very rude staff member from the hotel called and said there was no room available. She was totally unapologetic, unhelpful, and combative, despite the very difficult circumstances for us. She claimed there had been a water leak, but her story kept changing, and I'm fairly sure she just gave our room away because we had a low rate and they found someone to pay more. She rebooked us at a more expensive hotel, further away, and did not offer to reimburse any of our increased costs or even the Uber to get there (even when asked)! She said she would put me in contact with the manager but that was a lie, and despite three separate callbacks to the property, the manager never got back to me. Horrible experience and some of the worst customer service I've ever seen at a hotel, anywhere in the U.S. or world for that matter.

The staff were excellent, helpful and kind with great attitude. I really appreciate a friendly smile when traveling and so tired to arrive and be greeted and treated with kindness these ladies didn’t disappoint. Room was spotless. The breakfast was plentiful and greatly appreciated. I will stay again when in the area.

Great staff who were very responsive to our need for a room with AC. It was unseasonably hot in December but I married a sweat-er. Pun intended. Quickly changed rooms and not listening to my hubby gripe about being hot = PRICELESS.

The lady who answered the phone and Candice was very rude . So much it left a bad taste and memory . Never again will I visit this location. Other managers are sure their staff give customer service and hospitality. All I asked was her name . She was very rude and I had no choice but to ignore it to not match her nasty energy.

Not at all how it is pictured. The property is located in between incredibly busy roads where walking is not accessible so ride sharing or a car is needed. The building itself is old, poorly maintained and run down. To access my room I had to go outside and walk around the building. The front desk staff was polite but not welcoming. At one point when talking to the agent helping me with check in I asked if it’s possible to walk to a restaurant and another agent on the phone next to her scoffed and rolled her eyes as if it was the dumbest question ever. I would not recommend and definitely won’t be back.

Good location with nearby commercial area where most shopping needs can be met. Property was clean, organized and is generally a good value for the money .

Our room was very clean. Loved the free parking & free breakfast. Hotel was always busy with travelers. You definitely need your own transportation if you stay here but there wasn't much else botavle. We traveled to DC & Baltimore so it was a convenient location.

Not fancy but clean large rooms and a comfortable covered area with comfy lounge chairs by the entrance. Not many good food options nearby, and breakfast offerings are middling. Off the beaten path but a short drive to the city and the price is very reasonable. Near the National Arboretum.

The Resturant right below the hotel is excellent, there was no place to sit in the hotel for breakfast so we ate at the Resturant right below the hotel Saturday and Sunday it was incredible we also walked down to it Friday when we arrived at the hotel. You really need to advertise this Resturant with your hotel.

While the public areas of the hotel were outdated/dingy, the rooms themselves were updated, clean, and they had installed an extra air conditioner to ensure there was one near the bed - very important for hot sleepers. They also had an amazing breakfast, including all the standards (eggs, bacon, bagels, fruit, etc.) as well as a chorizo scramble! I’d never seen anything like that in a chain hotel - well done!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh options to start the day. The entire hotel was spotless, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. My room was exceptionally clean, and the towels were fresh, fluffy, and sparkling white, which added to the overall comfort. The quiet ambiance made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. If you’re looking for a hotel that values cleanliness, comfort, and a great breakfast, this is definitely the place to stay!
